Champions in Paris - The final four land in Paris, the culinary capital of the world and home of the 2024 Olympics, where they compete in the infamous Wall Challenge; their partners are U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Enjoy the show!

Tough to see anyone leave just before the finale. I felt bad for the person who was eliminated, but well done for getting so far in the competition

I just watched the Paris semifinal show. They all did such a good job and the challenges were interesting! I'm looking forward to next week! I love it when I like all three in the finals. I'm already sad for the two that won't win because they all have such talent.

I'm sad over who went home but I'm glad they won the Quickfire and the 10k travel voucher.
Pleased that others are still in the game. Good luck to all the contestants!

Yes, I was happy to see that chef get the travel voucher. I have to admit that I spoiled myself and knew who went home before the show started so was glad about that Quickfire win. I hadn't seen who won the elimination challenge in the spoiler so was surprised at the winner. I couldn't tell from the dishes they produced as they all looked inspired. The trip they took to get mushrooms was unreal!

What I wouldn't give to taste that mushroom soup! I had really thought that Gabri was a goner after all of the screen time he had. He is so endearing!
I'm team Sarah!
Also, who do you all think should be a good replacement for Padma?

Nor some model who thinks rice krispy treats is fine dining. Anyone else think Padma looks a bit chunky lately? Wouldn't rule out she's pregnant.

I'm guessing Gail is elevated to Host/Judge. But they will need a third regular judge ... a popular past winner?

I think we're being led up to a great Top Chef finale. Buddha's food is so elevated! No one took Sarah seriously, but she is no slouch, especially with a France finale where perfected simplicity will undoubtedly win out. Gabriel overthought his dish, and I wonder if he gets it that he squeaked into the finale by not having time to finish his complicated dish. I can hardly wait until Thursday! Win or lose, if Sarah puts out a cookbook, I'll buy it! (I don't feel the same way about any other of the recent current Top Chef 20 contestants.)

Also, who do you all think should be a good replacement for Padma? I was intrigued by your question and looked up some ideas other people had. Two former Top Chef contestants cropped up and I think either one would be good. Kristen Kish, champion of Season 10, has experience hosting and certainly knows food! Melissa King, winner of Top Chef All Stars, L.A. is another strong choice. She also has experience as a TV host.
I would be thrilled if Sarah won this Top Chef but I also like Buddha and he seems like the obvious choice at this point. If Gabriel wins it would be very surprising and exciting!

I like Kristin and think she would make a fine host.
Padma's show on Hulu is really good and is pretty popular so I'm not surprised she's leaving.

I like both of those choices, Cootie! Although they don't have that Padma signature, "Did you *mean* to burn the rice?"
