6/2 - Drag Race All Stars 8 - Episode 5

For me, Snatch game is a favorite episode….that is, was a favorite part of each season. Jaymes as Jennifer Coolidge had me laughing, I love Coolidge, so I enjoyed Jaymes more than the others in her group. That first group though, was already having some difficulty in the comedy, when suddenly - jokes/teasing got out of hand between Heidi and Kahanna, and I became uncomfortable. Yikes! 

Second group did well, Alexis was a good Bea Arthur, and I knew Jimbo as Shirley Temple would win the love. I laughed at her tap dance, and Ru, really laughed more than me even.

Prep for Ruveal though turned ugly. Kahanna was wound up and talked about her hurt feelings during their snatch performance. (let’s face it, she just doesn’t have the comedic chops the other Queens possess). Heidi didn’t help things when she sent a list of jokes over to Kahanna during the skit, it just drew attention to how poorly Kahanna was doing; but she immediately apologized, and was trying to soften things, when…… Kandy spoke up about some off camera comments that Heidi had allegedly made to Jimbo. (Kandy supposedly said ‘first chance she got she would take out Jimbo’. ) That was followed by “she said/she said” drama, with Alexis completely confusing the issue by agreeing with both Heidi and Kandy. (Leading me to believe that Alexis probably did some fibbing).
Heidi suddenly had enough, and walked off the show! Then Alexis breaks down and I’m 
But, Heidi said she will have no regrets walking out, no amount of money was worth the vibes going down in there. 

Ruveal was good, but my enthusiasm was dampened by that time. I actually don’t remember much of that. Jimbo won top all star for the third time, Jessica and Kahanna were bottom two. 

Lip sync was fabulous with Jasmine Kennede doing a jaw dropping performance and winning the lip sync. Jimbo nearly fell at the start of her flop lip sync performance. So, Another $5g goes into the pot. But, before the lipstick reveal, Ru makes the executive decision that no one would leave this week.
