I love how nice the ladies are being towards each other: Susan styling Teresa's hair, etc
I loved that '59 Vette!

Gerry seems really easy to talk to. I wish they'd show more of the lady with the pretty silver hair, I'm obsessed with it.

Poor guy, he's going to be in tears every time he sends someone home.

I had a meeting tonight and just got to watch the RC. Thank goodness for PVR. I will watch it later, but Gerry is in tears again when handing out that final rose. I can't imagine what he will be like when he is down to the final few.

I watched after I got home and I enjoyed it as much as the rest of you. I have to give props to the team that put this together. I was expecting them to screw it up like they usually do, but so far they have done an excellent job from the casting to the dates and just generally letting people be themselves and not trying to add forced drama.
I loved the ladies and the bunk beds...one can't climb because of her knee replacement and other needs to be able to get to the bathroom asap during the night. You don't get that kind of gold on the regular show.
It is wonderful to see the ladies being so supportive of one another. They are still envious at times, but at the same time manage to be sympathetic and caring of one another.
As for the tears, I feel Gerry whenever he has to let anyone go. And the ladies themselves, they have lived and it shows. Not the petty junk they usually foist on us. They have had pain and have lived rich lives and know how to appreciate life and remain hopeful. It was sad seeing Nancy upset about the wedding dress, but it was still a beautiful moment between her and Gerry, but also with one of the other ladies supporting her. It just makes me realize how stupid the other stuff they give us is. BIP comes to mind!

It's still doing great in the ratings, so the audience must be enjoying genuine people looking for a partner instead of a bunch of drama queen dingbats looking for Insta followers. I know I'm tired of the wannabe influencers and general stupidity that makes up so much reality tv these days.
Plus the one hour format is nice.

Yes, that hour just flew by. I will be curious if they keep this up for Joey's season, although Charity's season wasn't too bad with the forced drama so the new team does seem to be cutting back on some of the idiocy...although not when it comes to BIP. That has been dragging for me. Maybe it's the contrast as it is right after Gerry.

Still enjoying this show. I’m with Natascha, though. Give these women some chairs at the Rose Ceremony. I don’t care how good of shape they’re in, asking women to stand for hours at this age is inhumane. Maybe not everyone wants a chair, but they could set up a front row of chairs for those who need to sit and let the others stand behind them.

And who thought it was a great idea to have bunk beds for these aged 60+ women? I honestly think it's pretty cruel.

I'm 58 and there is no way I would climb into a bunk bed. I could but it would suck.
I like Theresa.

There are fewer women this time, though, I think -- so there should be enough room for some twin beds smooshed together in there. The bunk beds are ridiculous!
It was funny to watch them move into the mansion! Weren't they just there the night before, or is that a different mansion? I always assumed it's the same one.
Gerry is very kind to the women, and is a good listener. I loved the flash mob, and Theresa's reaction to it at first. lol! That looked so fun.
I was surprised he gave that picture to (Ellen?), which seemed pretty serious. He must be very interested, or at least that's the way it looked.
I'll miss Natascha! She should definitely be the first Golden Bachelorette -- how fun would that be??!!

Thought I would watch this season, though. Found the format of older people interesting. I am thoroughly enjoying it so far. What a breath of fresh air! Hope it continues.

I'm 58 and there is no way I would climb into a bunk bed. I could but it would suck. I like Theresa. Plus that teeny closet for 4 women to use, those bedrooms are very very small.
