Great movie, better then the original. Fun, snappy dialogue, great pacing, not just action, action, action and you get bored. Introduced a new character, The Ghost. Interesting power and motivation. Give it an A+. Liked the interaction between Scott and his daughter, also it showed how divorced couples can still get along and co-parent. Liked the back story of Janet Van Dyne and her relationship with her hubbie, Hank and daughter, Hope. Stay past the initial credits for an extra scene which will make you gasp. Then at the very end of the credits there is a very small extra scene but you don't miss anything by not seeing that.
There are moments you will laugh out loud. But it's not stupid. I did like that the characters self stayed the same but as humans they did adapt to changing circumstances and try to make better lives for themselves such as Scott's ex con buds starting a security firm. I liked that they characters did not remain stagnant in their careers as that makes for boring story lines, but tried to better themselves.
