Great episode. So happy Corey and his dad chose the right detour. They are the #1 team I am rooting for but there are also a LOT of close seconds I am also rooting for! Im actually hoping their not great performance keeps them off the U-turn list too! Out of the last 3 teams, I like the brothers the most so glad they made it! I would really struggle with changing tasks, I would keep thinking, one more try, we are already here. Especially something like that where I *could* be close. If I ran the race Id run with my dh and he has a super amazing attention to small details so maybe we would be ok. He would also drive the stick, smash physical tasks, not afraid of heights, great at building things, can get hungry and not get hangry. . .. I could . . .Hm . . . Maybe he should run it with his brother. lol! Cant wait for next week! this is totally me. I'd love to do the race but realistically know I wouldn't be that great. I have tried to convince MrCoz that he needs to do it with his childhood friend. Hmm, only thing I'm not sure about is dancing challenges. Me, I'd be pretty bad at a lot of them! I was so thrilled for Rob & Corey. They weren't even the ones running to the mat in the very back of the pack. That puppet challenge was the one to do, although the first set of brothers to do the mural did it pretty good. I'm a little surprised that after they said they'd work with the sisters that they didn't clue them into looking for minute details. Maybe they thought they'd get it. I can't believe that the sisters managed to change detours and still squeak by in the end.

I couldn’t believe how many chose the mural. When they described the two activities, it was clear to me that the puppets would be way faster. The mural had so many details that could be wrong while the puppets were straightforward. The couple should thank their lucky stars that there were no stations left. At first the picture looks easy but its the fact that you can only carry one piece at a time and both team members have to be together and you have at least 5 to 7 pieces and you have to dress yourself correctly and hold the instruments and sword correctly. That's a lot of cardio, that's lot of legs, and that's is a big area you need to search. I automatically picked making a puppet. It seemed a lot easier except if you are a blue shirt girl with a needle in your hand and almost put it in your sister's eye.

This leg was amazing with how close the racers started with a 24 minute spread and the last 6 teams coming in so close together.
The new U Turn format looks interesting. Looks as if everyone will vote, it will be a blind vote, and will it be majority rules and the team with the most votes gets the U Turn or will multiple teams get U Turns?

No spoilers but it looks as if the teams will vote on who they want to U Turn at the beginning of the next leg and then later during the race at the detour the team that has the most votes will have to do both parts of the detour.

I can relate to their relationship, past & present with one of my own brothers. They also seem to have a sweetness to them, especially Yeremy. Most people here seem to love the 1.5 hour episodes, but I'm really NOT liking it. All they've done is spend more time showing everyone doing the same task over & over. I wish they'd use that extra time to maybe show us interactions between race legs, or deeper into contestant's backstories, even airport interactions between the teams...anything. I don't need to see every task failed multiple times by multiple teams. They can show a few & then just give us the count of how many tries. Due to the writers and actors strike the networks decided that both Survivor and The Amazing Race would be 90 minute episodes for these seasons.

I'm sure it was also the reason for BB starting so late in the summer & having a longer season.
