I'm not Batman, I'm the Canadian - Castaways must roll their way to a win in the immunity challenge, leaving the rest at risk of going home; a comment from day one comes back to haunt one of the castaways.
Enjoy the show!

Austin is salty as hell over that lost sandwich. And Kendra is...a lot.

Bruce got darn lucky he was able to find time to dig for the HII before having to leave their beach.

Kendra and her wild weird tongue are giving me the creeps -- she was going nuts about the food once she got to the merged camp! I have a very hard time watching her.

Ugh. I was hoping red team would win that one just because I want Jake to get some food.

I can’t believe I actually was hoping it was Jay over Emily that is how obnoxious I found her.

That tribal was a mess. I won't miss J, never much cared for her.

That was fun. Kaleb's shot in the dark had to have been the first one that's ever worked, right? Whoo hoo!
Bruce and Kendra can go any time now, if it were up to me.

Who did Kaleb vote for? They said it was unanimous? Because he played his shot in the dark?
Noticed Emily voted for Kaleb? Hope he is not mad about that? As it would have helped her if he had left.

Bruce and Julie seem to be very old school Survivor players? And don't get you really need to pivot fast on this newer shorter version of the show.

I wasn't a fan of here personality at all. Very annoying to me. Also want to see Bruce go soon.

What is so weird is that everyone there has watched the show, you can't be in total control of a group of people because they all want to win the million dollars. Can someone really be that unaware how he comes across to people and that they find him annoying. If nothing else Bruce is going to get a very hard lesson in life as this season airs.
It would be so funny if Bruce would make it deep into the game. I mean I would love to have him sitting next to me at the final tribal council because no one would vote for him.

Caleb dodged a bullet for sure! Loved seeing the chaos. What I don't understand is why Emily voted for Caleb. If she had voted J, which was her aim, J would have been gone without the need for a revote.. or am I seeing it wrong?

I think she had to be careful, because of her new tribe she's with. They trust her, but she did let Caleb know they were voting for him, I think that's why he threw J under the bus.

There are times you just have to go with the majority otherwise it makes you a target. Caleb knows he can trust Emily, but he also needs to protect her as his ally if he survives the Tribal Council and there was no need for her to blow her game. Even if Emily did vote for Caleb to show support and even if people played this game logically and knew her reasons, people are weird and would hold it against her. Also Emily voting for J instead of Caleb would have shown her loyalty in a very public manner it would have also eliminated J in the first round of voting. However this is the very first time the Shot in the Dark has actually worked, so Emily voting for J was a very big risk.

I believe he lost his vote when he played his shot in the dark. Interesting reading about the history of the shot in the dark (thanks), and how this is the first time it was played AND was beneficial.

Well it was nice to see that the 10th time it was used the Shot in the Dark saved someone.
I do agree with many of the other players that Kaleb is dangerous, he is the all around package, his is physical, social, and strategic, the other players would be stupid to keep him around. However Bruce's my way or the highway method of trying to rein in Kaleb was incredibly stupid. If Bruce had kept his cool he could have formed a group that would have blindsided Kaleb out of the game.
It may be a bit early but unless Kaleb is voted out of the game I can see him winning.

I loved that the shot in the dark saved Kaleb, but that made for a wild tribal! I think it was smart of Emily to also vote for Kaleb just in case the shot in the dark didn't work. This way, she looks like a team player. However, Kaleb knows she gave him the heads-up to use it. I don't think they both can make it to the end, but I do like a good underdog story, so I'm hoping they can.
Emily would have been my choice to go early, but Kaleb talking with her made a huge difference. And she repaid the favor in a big way tonight.
I really hate this new thing where only half the people are safe in the non-merge merge. I wish it were a real merge with all of them.

I do wonder what Kaleb saw in Emily that he reached out to her, managed to connect to her, and keep her as an ally over his other teammates who he didn't have to try so hard to have an alliance with? I mean Emily came across as an extremely difficult person and not easy to get along with.

I really hate this new thing where only half the people are safe in the non-merge merge. I wish it were a real merge with all of them. Me too! Very much so. And some tribals with immunities there were even less people to vote for. It be one thing if the immune couldnt vote but I think its weird to have MORE immune than not immune and its annoying. Especially once Caleb won his shot in the dark (that was FUN! loved it) even less people to chose from - ugh! didnt mind J left, wasnt a favorite of mine. Like everyone else Bruce can go next if the Survivor universe cares what I think (history shows it really hasnt. lol!) I said this in the other thread (AR) but I think I like the longer episodes. It takes me longer to get around to watching everything but I feel like half the season I am figuring out who is who but now I feel like I no more players sooner and I like that aspect of it!

They seem to have good conversations. She really has seemed so much better since he first talked with her.

They seem to have good conversations. She really has seemed so much better since he first talked with her. I was listening to the On Fire podcast and one of the hosts suggested since Emily had been on the outs with most of her tribe from the very beginning she really had no loyalty to them. Kaleb did have loyalty with Sabiyah and Brandon but those folks could also have loyalty to other players. With Emily especially after befriending her, Kaleb had the absolute loyalty of one person and didn't have to worry if Emily was loyal to others on the tribe. That solo loyalty to only one person could be a very valuable asset for a player.
