From what little I know, TPTB, during casting, ask a lot of extremely intrusive & even tasteless questions of the potential cast members. Very sexually related, as in number of sexual partners; most recent sexual experience; ever have a 3 way; ever with someone vastly older (or younger); who in the waiting room would you like to do it with; ever have any type of STD; etc. It's obvious the reason for this is to use that information against the cast member to embarrass or humiliate them. Colton was set up for this long in advance. TPTB in this show are swine. Some of those questions are imperative. They have to know about STDs; in fact, they do blood work to check for that. I suppose they could ask about your "dating" patterns reasonably enough as to age, etc. However, this 3 way business and that kind of stuff? What??? Some of those things, I think you could say," Look, I am not into 3 ways, counting partners, and that sort of thing. I have a normal love life, and I am uncomfortable answering some of these questions." I agree, bloomers, I'd say I'm not comfortable answering some of these questions. Do you think they'd still let them be on the show?

Yes...I think they push for all the intrusive stuff they can get, but I think if they overall like you or find you interesting, they will settle for what is necessary.

You're right. Some of those are important things they need to know. They need to keep the lead, as well as the other contestants safe. Plus they have to cover themselves legally. I didn't list some of the tasteless ones I read. They were a bit beyond what I'm willing to post. Suffice it to say they were quite uncalled for. I agree you could just tell them you're not comfortable answering their questions, but anyone who did would be shown the door immediately. These potential contestants don't want that to happen. They answer the questions in order to get on the show.

She said that when she came home, she knew when her time was up.. Obviously she couldn't elaborate, but over time bits and pieces, have come out over the years..

So I looked at the video of Colton telling Becca, and there's really no way to know if her reactions were to what he was saying. They may well have been, but none of the shots in the entire conversation are of both of them. When he's talking, we only see the back of her head. When she's talking, we see only her. Her reactions could have come from anywhere. I'm not saying they weren't from that context, but there's no proof that they are. The fact that we hear his voice talking over her facial expressions also means nothing. That could just be edited this way. If you want to look at it, there's a clip in this recap by Rachel Lindsay. I've also read that if you are selected to go on the show, you have to sign this contract that's like 20 pages long. You basically hand your life over to them and say that they can portray you any way they want. That's why I have little sympathy for the villains who, after they're eliminated, try to say, "But it was just editing!" Yeah, but if you had read the contract you would have known that could happen to you. And if you did read the contract, then you really have no excuse.

Right? I don't get why it's such a big deal. If she ends up marrying him, she can teach him however she pleases. Honestly, I was thinking that too! He's can be putty in her hands, to mold him to whatever she wants and needs. Heck, I'd be up for the challenge if I wasn't already married, lol

One of the most interesting things to me is the contrast between what both the leads and the contestants are saying/telling even in real time as compared to earlier days when they were not allowed to give away much of anything. They wouldn't say anything for fear of being sued.
The sleuthers found out things through inside sources, friends and family members of the contestants, etc., and they ( we) shared it on the Spoilers Thread for anyone who wanted to know. Some of it would occasionally slip in to the mainline threads, but it seemed so preposterous back then that posters had a very hard time believing it.
Then came the online interviews with former producers who began to reveal things..... And, of course, we saw on the FORT site for ourselves a copy of the contract they sign.
Now, we have them freely telling things. For instance, Becca herself said in an article that she excused herself to go to the restroom, and Colton concurred; however, it was made to look like in that moment she left because of his virgin reveal.
However, it has never been clear who writes the lead's official blog or even what is going to be in that blog. In People, whoever wrote it towed the storyline; "Becca" said she got up because, "I needed a moment," ( to collect her thoughts concerning the big reveal).
Also, evidently Blake and Becca went horseback riding, and we didn't see that.
Further, WIlls is going to be on BIP!!
Tia "is going to drop a bombshell," about Colton, "that shakes up the entire foundation of my relationship with Colton."
The families just may be more difficult that I thought...."I find myself defending my relationships to potential in-laws."
Whoa, Nellie! Next week may not be boring!

Whoa, Nellie! Next week may not be boring! Yay for Wills! I was holding out for him to be The Bachelor down the road, but he just may find love on BIP! I'm really hoping this big "news" that Tia is going to drop isn't, "We did everything BUT have actual sex". Then we'll be getting into what "technically" makes one a virgin or not. I've got a bad feeling about it.

I've got a bad feeling about it. Well you can have a makeout session, without sex. Yes, I hope Wills finds someone, too! I really liked him on the show. I felt like he was kind-hearted and sweet; however, I didn't think he really had the charisma he needed to pull off the Bachelor. He is so soft-spoken and laid back. It is going to take the RIGHT one for him. He will find her! I agree that every big make-out session does not necessarily have to end in sex; however, both people have to be on the same page on that one. When she said "bombshell," I said, "Ut-oh!" Tia has been the weak link in that relationship to this point. I began to brace myself....
