I didn't think that pretty girl early on, that they all loved, was all that. She was loud, but I wasn't such a fan. Of course, she looks good and is super confident, so she's going far I'm sure.
The young guy with the baby and the mom who looked like Katy, wasn't that good, but I got the impression they wanted to help him out and give him a shot.
Former contestant Colin and the haircut was fun. The barber himself was okay, seemed nice, and is thrilled for the opportunity.
Loretta Lynn's granddaughter is here! She's quiet, and timid, and doesn't look 24 at all. She was on tour with her grandmother when she was a child -- imagine! She has a sweet voice, but it sounds similar to a lot of other girls it seems. Her song was "Skinny" about eating disorders. Katy tries to get her to be more bold/loud and speak up when introducing herself! She goes through (of course), with tears.
OMG, the Barbie boy, Ziggy cracks me up - he is from the Netherlands and looks a little plastic-y, but his brows were very well-groomed! He made it to 7th place back in his country's Dutch Idol. He sings Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons" and isn't all that bad. They want to give him a chance, they pump him up nicely, and he gets his ticket to Hollywood. Katy always seems to have a soft spot for fellow "weirdos" and is super nice.
KB is another young pretty woman, she has Hashimoto's disease and has really struggled. But she has a cool, raspy voice! Her dad seems very sweet.
Abby, another pretty young one, sounds great too. Katy gives her a no, but the guys let her through. Then Katy asks Abby's friend on the piano, Sam, to sing. He's got an original all ready to go, and appreciates the opportunity (so it must have been on the card, I'm thinking!). He goes through, Katy thinks he's *really* good. I kind of felt bad for Abby, because even though she's going too, Katy clearly favored him over her and her voice wasn't anything to dismiss! Abby seemed happy though, so I hope she does okay out in Hollywood to prove Katy wrong.
Oh man, this goes 'til 10 tonight?? Wait, only 9 p.m., phew!
They say Abi (another pretty young woman) is the best they've heard -- I think they've told a few people that tonight, about being the best performances, etc., but apparently hers was the best. They show her on the street one week later, singing for a crowd, and they announce she gets a Platinum ticket. She's so excited.

My favorites of the night were KB, Emmy, and Abbi for the girls and Sam (Kayko) for the boys

Is there one more week of auditions or two?

Is there one more week of auditions or two? I think there's two more weeks. I really liked Abi and KB from last night, but I wish the judges would stop declaring "you're top ten" and "winner!" before we've even gotten past the Hollywood round.

I normally don't watch but I was channel surfing and caught Ziggy Krassenberg's audition.
OK, I am confused. Is this a female transitioning to male or vice a versa? Normally, I don't care, "you do you", but I was getting really mixed signals to the point I was not paying any attention to the singing.
