See You Next Wednesday - Morticia meets Mugler as the queens create a Neo-Goth look from scratch, using only black, white and gray fabric; model and actress Kaia Gerber guest judges.
A new episode of Drag Race Untucked airs right after the show on MTV. ALSO, several Drag Race queens will be guests on an all new Ridiculousness at 10PM, after Untucked.
Enjoy the show!

I see the pattern continues, set up the outgoing Queen through edits at the opening. Staging her exit by showing theat queen in her least favorable moments. I guess the purpose is so that we are not upset, or really disappointed by the exit. Q finally gets recognition, and I am happy for her. But, I also thought Sapphira's Neo Goth look was gorgeous, and Nymphia's was stunning. Amazing runway looks from all three actually, each deserving of the win. Sapphira's was my favorite (yes, I'm biased), but, Nymphia's couture design was creative, and exquisitely executed (she deserves global recognition for her skills and talent). I knew Michelle would call out Mhi'ya for her gown. Mhi'ya shared her vision with Sapphira and, mother helped her execute it. Mhi'ya did do all of the sewing, but mom was willing to step in and do that, if needed. But, I've never heard that other Queens could NOT assist. So, jealousy is mostly what is at stake here. Sapphira is 100% Miss Congeniality and Mother. She nurtures each Queen, uplifts, encourages and gently, but firmly critiques. I adore her! (Loved her reach out moment with Plasma, it helped her de-stress.)
Is it just me or is anyone else finding Dawn annoying?
Plasma was encouraged by Dawn to think outside the box. I think Dawn meant to be helpful........but, Plasma's new direction was not a favorite by the judges (or me). I loved Mhi'ya's lip sync challenge, (3rd time). The girl prepares and consistently delivers, I love her more, and more each episode.
Loved Kaia Gerber's energy and inspiring words, a lovely addition to guest judges, and I hope to see her again.

You're not alone with regard to Dawn. Dawn lost me with the snippy comments about musical theatre.

I guess the purpose is so that we are not upset, or really disappointed by the exit. Yeah, they do that when they know they're about to send a queen home that will anger the (social media) fans. I wasn't ready for Plasma to go, and I thought the judging overall was a little skewed this week. I also get annoyed with Dawn, and then she does something funny/cute and I forget, and then she does something annoying again and I remember... Plane Jane was almost tolerable this week... she really got the wind knocked out of her with Xunami gone. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for at this point. I guess Q or Nymphira. Anyone but Jane, really.

It's hard when you have a queen that is adept at every challenge, but has a despicable personality. You can't root for her, but, at the same time you can't ignore that she is good at this. I agree that losing Xunami threw Plane for a loop, but, I think what Sapphira said to her may have also toned her down some. She has shared her family history with us, and the girls; and it does explain how her life has been influenced. But, I think Plane wants to be loved and respected more than anything, so we'll have to see how she grows over the next few weeks.
