Tiki Man - A castaway's memory must serve them well on a journey for an advantage; tensions run high as the hunt for an immunity idol sends one tribe on a wild goose chase.
Enjoy the show!

Okay! Let's get to know some of these other players! The Bhanu show is over, hurrah.

Moriah's comment was snotty.
Maria said the boys didn't calculate they got to Charlie first, so Moriah says, "Well this isn't a game of dibs, it's a game of Survivor" AND she thinks Ben is the most charismatic, likable guy she's ever met in her entire life! Lol!
Cha-cha Charlie was cute. I like how he just played along and did well!
The other tribe is searching for the idol like crazy. Hunter says he's climbed and searched everywhere, and is sure the camera pans to it after he misses it -- and of course that's exactly what happens. ha! Venus also interrupts him and he has to stop searching because even though he admits that's what he's doing, he doesn't want her to know if he finds it. He does find the Beware advantage after Venus leaves!
Liz can barely find her shoes, so she's not going to go out searching for it.

Go, Jem! She's maintaining her lie about not finding (or moving) the Beware advantage -- without a giggle, which she says is her tell at home when she lies. Tim also questions her pretty hard on the girl's alliance, and she denies that too.
Everyone on the other two tribes nods when they see Bhanu went home, like "yeah, of course he did." It's quite the elaborate set up for the immunity challenge today! There's also food! Jeff rips on Yanu, thinking they might say "Yanu" instead of "losers" when he asks what the 3rd place tribe will be called. They all have to sit out so many people! yikes. Tim and Hunter were really good at the climbing, but Q did well for awhile too, before he got stuck on that rope thing. Hunter's tribe comes in first, of course. Then Q and Tim go head to head for the last slingshot target, the camera goes in slow motion as Q hits it! They win their first immunity, and finally get flint. Treats too. Jeff continues to reiterate that they've NEVER won before, it's a VERY long losing streak, etc., and question them all on their feelings. Hey, Venus gets to hold the immunity idol w/o Soda taking it away.
Nami gets to send someone from each tribe to a journey, again. Hunter, Tim and Q go -- I hope they save them some treats!!
Charlie says the Vibe Tribe is going to tribal (them). Since Tim was the one talking to Tiki Man earlier and that's the name of the episode, I wonder if it will be Tim going home tonight.

On the journey, Q proposes a strong-man alliance (meatheads, or bro-chachos) for the merge, where each of the three of them would bring along a partner and then they'd all get to the final 6 together. They agree, though Hunter sounds less convincing than Tim.
They have to select one of the three to do the journey's advantage challenge, which is to put all the Survivor tiles in order chronologically. Hunter is the one, and he actually sounds like he is doing pretty well, as he reasons it out! I've watched every season, but could never do this challenge! I wonder how Tim would've done (he said he was a huge Survivor fan). Aww, Hunter misses quite a few of them. 8 of 20, and loses his vote.

Moriah sure is talking a lot tonight (to us). Either she goes tonight, or she goes far because this is a lot of confessionals.
Jem runs and gets her clue. There's a measuring and math equation she has to do! In front of everyone! That seems like a lot. But they all go out looking for the idol, so she manages to do it all, gets the answer, and then digs and finds the idol! No one knows! Good for her.
Maria still has an extra vote, so they're going to try to take out Ben, thinking that Tim has an idol and may have gotten something else on his journey. Charlie is bummed about taking out Ben. Ben has no vote.
Tim tells them about the journey and says Hunter did it, that he didn't earn anything.
Jem pushes hard on Ben and then also Tim, to find out who to vote for, saying she'll vote with them. A bit later, Ben proposes voting for Jem. Uh oh, will she get wind of this and play her new idol?

Moriah walking in to Tribal with her mouth hanging open, again - like she did at the challenge, because she's so impressed with the set.
They talk about their tribe being like they were at a spa this whole time. Jeff predicts a big blindside then tonight?
Tim votes first, we don't see it. Moriah goes up there and gawks at everything. Ben's note says go back and sit down because he has no vote. Maria earned her extra vote.
Jeff brings the box down, and asks if anyone wants to play an idol. Crickets.
Ben gets a vote, Jem gets a vote. Ben gets another, Jem gets another... Jem gets a third! And another! She's voted out, WITH her idol! aww, poor girl. She walks off and doesn't turn around and say bye or anything to her tribe.
The way they showed it, it was only because of how hard she was pushing the guys right before tribal, otherwise I didn't see much reason they'd want to vote her out. Of course, we don't always see everything, so they may have been on to her, or other things happened that made them want her out.
Merge is coming up next week! Voting showed that Maria cast TWO votes against Jem. Wow, harsh.

I missed a bit of the show. Did his teammates eat all the reward food before Q got back or did they same him anything, given that it was Q who made the shot that got them the food and saved them from TC?

Tiki Man is the title of the episode and Tim is talking to the "tiki". Is this what is called a CLUE?
Well with Bhanu gone you would think the game would be ramping up a bit. ...... 24 minutes in and nothing has happened!
OK all the tribes have talked. We see a lot of maneuvering on Green/Siga with Ben and Tim being potential targets. Q is fake talking about quitting (pleas quit).
Nami/Orange a lot of talking with Venus annoying Hunter, who finds a Beware Advantage. Like right at eye level not under the million coconuts.
Finally the immunity challenge. The editors did a little sequence of an orange sandbag and a purple sandbag hitting a disc. Who wins immunity? Orange and Purple.
Boys boat ride to a Journey and the three big physical threats (Hunter+Q+Tim) from and alliance for the merge.
Glad to know Q thinks H+Q+T are physical threats. To be honest I think only Hunter is, but don't tell Q he might get depressed.

They told him they saved him a third. Since he's so big, and at least one of them are so tiny, I might have given him a few extra bites -- like you said, he had the winning shot! And I was wrong about the amount of confessionals: Moriah doesn't have nearly as many as I thought.

He's nice to look at and isn't annoying, so I hope he sticks around. I thought the "Tiki Man" title might have been a clue too; sometimes it seems to be, and other times (like tonight), it's NOT. But I didn't even notice they gave away the team winners with the colors of sandbags. hmm! I can't believe ANYONE would know how to put all those tiles in order, but I saw some guy online who said they could and could also name all the players from the first some# episodes. Is that some kind of savant?

After the season is over I promptly forgot all names and players.

Was so hoping that Jem would survive and one of the guys would go home.
Merge next week.
Liz hates Soda?
Venus is spilling?
Yanu may survive.

I was so happy for Yanu. They were so spent, nothing to eat for 11 days, no fire. Yes, they deserved to win immunity. I was yelling for Q to make his target and I liked the slo-mo.
Jem, she did so well getting the immunity idol, maybe this time, it would of been good to tell Maria she had it. I usually want them to tell no one.
Good episode.

It was refreshing to have one player not blab to everyone.
I wonder if the tribe was larger would Jem be so obvious a choice, for "pushing" so hard?

I didn't think they were going to vote out Gem and was surprised. But tricking the rest of the tribe to dig was going to be her downfall anyway. If she ever did play the idol before the merge, they would know that she was the one who buried the 'clue' and wasted their time. I don't understand why the women voted her out.

beerbelly, I thought it was due to Tim suspecting that Jem had the idol. Somehow Charlie must have convinced Maria. I would expect them to edit that out because then we would absolutely know who was leaving before tribal council (again). Tim was convinced it was Jem and I can’t see him not sharing it with the guys.

Then Q and Tim go head to head for the last slingshot target, the camera goes in slow motion as Q hits it! This was super fun, I had to be very still and watch. lol! And thanks for posting the confessional ratio of all the players. I am super disappointed Jem went home, she was my number one root for, now I need to find someone else. I have a busy week this week, I may not get to watch next weeks Survivor until . . . after the weekend.
