I wasn't into this season that much. I thought it was a little too repetitive. lol

I loved the first part with the vampires, but not the ending. And the second part had promise - I enjoyed how they wove in all the conspiracy theories with the alien stuff - but was WAY too rushed.

Agreed! I dug the vampires and I liked the take on the classic vampire story but the alien story didn't grab my attention as much. You are so right, it had such promise but all of a sudden it was over and I feel there were unanswered questions. I did like Leslie Grossman in both features.

I hope so too! When it is 'on' it is on point! Other times....less so. Also, I wonder if it will bother me that it is based in NYC. Sometimes knowledge of a place so intimately takes me out of a show (like, how are they downtown when they just had coffee or clearly it is Toronto.) Edited: Just watched the first episode and I'm loving it. Umm...also I am a pushover for Patti Lapone in a tiara. Also love the shout out to my favorite part of Central Park... the Ramble. I found this article from NY Magazine, but warning, it has mention of the F slur and talks and describes violence against our gay community, I am only adding it here because it describes how it was in 1978 when the Ramble was depicted in the first episode: nymag.com/news/features/47179/ I love that the article mentions birders, because of them I know what the tupelo field is mentioned in the article! I used to be so scared growing up of Central Park and now I'm there all the time, but it took me a while to get over my fear. |

Well I wasn't going to watch, but...I gave it a try and it wasn't too awful. Kardashian doesn't annoy me as much as I thought she would. Not knowing when they'll show the last half of the season IS annoying, though. |
