No one seems to be talking about the previews in tonights show, when crying Becca announced "I'm doing the same thing to him, that Arie did to me"! What the heck is coming up next week? She is wearing a sapphire blue dress, crying her heart out. I'm guessing she means that she is falling in love with two guys. I guess we will see next week! Yup, that's what she means. Remember at the start she said she loves two men, and now knows how Arie felt?

Just my opinion and it might have something to do with my tummy hurting and in the words of family Chantel, this show gets "stupider & stupider". Maybe I'm just old

It's not just you. By the time the finale rolls around, I will have recorded, but not viewed, five episodes. I may delete all except the MTA and the Finale.

I still do not trust Colton. I think he is angling to be the next Bachelor. That's how I feel about Jason after tonight.

I meant to reply to a quote that said they'd like Colton as Bach, and I meant I'd like Jason as Bach. Also, home town with Garrett seemed very friend zone to me.

I don't mind the whole emphasis on virginity. It's easier to stomach than hearing about what happened during filming in the hot tub, in the ocean... and then in the fantasy suite, and then again the next night in the fantasy suite...
On a similar note, the fact that she keeps referring to Jason as the best kisser makes me think the buck stops there. My guess is he will be the next to go.

That's what I was thinking. Speaking of friendzone, that's how I felt about Jason's HT date. During that whole segment of eating in the bar it just felt like a watch party for a Bills game, not a romantic date. Even going into the HT's, I was wondering who would go first, Jason or Colton.

I don't know. Maybe I would have to re-watch the scene/date where Becca was with Jason last night, but I thought there was something off with her eye contact at times with him. At times, she would look down.

Those words were the 💋 of death, so to speak. Bye bye my Bachelorette crush Jason. Even though you use too much product in your hair, you had my vote. I am a sucker for his dark good looks and that dimpled chin. **fans myself**

No, technically he was not a virgin. He chose, at some point in his twenties to become chaste and not have sexual intercourse until he married. I don't remember if he was the one who used the term 'born-again virgin' or that was a name given to him by others but that is what he considered himself. I have no issue with him deciding to forego sex until marriage, but to consider oneself a 'virgin' was ridiculous, in my opinion.

After sleeping on last night's show, I think everyone is on to what is going to happen - Jason will be the next to go, leaving Blake and Garret as the F2. Just my speculation, as well as others.
I agree with the "friends out on the town" feel for her and Jason's date. Little to no eye contact. Even with her gushing about what a great kisser he is, she has more chemistry with the other two.
That said, I'd be more okay with Jason as the next Bachelor over Colton.

She may pull another surprise on us.
Yeah, now that I've had plenty of time to think about it, I agree. I'd rather not have Colton be the next Bachelor, simply because he is too good for this show. He deserves to find someone who will appreciate him, just like that football player who left to get the surgery. I don't want to see poor Colton treated like a piece of meat by a bunch of actress/model wannabees.
And yes, "born again virgin" is the term some people use for those who give up casual sex and decide to wait.

Technically no, but whatever he decided to do, just like Colton was fine in my book. Sean didn't sleep with Catherine on the show, they talked all night, and are now happily married. Becca doesn't seem to like to talk, she likes to kiss, then she gets this look on her face likes she's about to interrogate the guy, and his answers better past her test..

Right! But he was celibate for the duration of the show, so to me, same thing. No need for head banging

My husband -first time watcher - did basically the same thing almost every long time Bachelor fan has done; that is to say, latch on to a favorite who seems just about perfect, and then when the lead rejects the favorite ( at whatever point), go through the whole array of emotions: shock to disbelief to outrage to disappointment to losing respect for the lead. When she eliminated Colton - who my husband thought was an all around good guy, especially after seeing him at the hospital with his kids and charity and hearing the whole bit with Tia which he thought was absolutely unfair to Colton and Becca - my husband decided he had lost a lot of respect for Becca. I can't convince him - yet - that we are seeing more all around chemistry with both Blake and Garrett. He is also mad because she "led all 4 of them on." Gee whiz....it is hard at this point to watch this show with someone for the first time.

In defense of the boring high school date, Bailey is a SUPER small town. My husband and I groaned about the school as a date, but then had the 'what else could they have done up there instead' talk and all we came up with was the gas station and the hot dog stand actually shaped like a hot dog. Plus, the shooting was awful (obviously) but to have it happen in such an idyllic and out of the way small town like Bailey (mom's affair with coach aside *sarcasm) was a pretty hard thing for Colorado but especially Bailey to take and I can see how it would have changed everything in his approach to life going forward. I cannot imagine going through it anyway, but to have your mother and your sister also in the school while it's happening must have been extra terrifying. I saw that as less of a 'here's where I went to school' and more of a 'here's what changed me into who I am today', but that could be proximity and projection.

Some of my comments are a bit late, since others here have already discussed them, but I wrote my notes last night, so these are "in the moment" observations. Oh Boy! It's Meet The Folks Night. Always interesting at least. Sometimes to get the bad visit situation, even if edited that way. Those are always fun to watch. Other than that, we get to see each contestant alone with the lead & with their family, to see the chemistry or lack of such. Garrett's up first: I didn't realize his family lived on a farm. Always good for the lap sitting tractor ride. And for the lead to say how beautiful & wonderful it is there, leaving out the fact that it's probably boring as all heck. From what Becca says, somebody wants a Daddy replacement. She's been saying all along that he reminds her of dear old Dad. I just can't get her being so crazy about Garrett. I just don't care for him. Something off putting, but don't know what. Poor ex-wife. She's really getting trashed by him again. Nice enough family. Seem like pleasant normal people. Jason's next: OMG You bring someone home to meet your family & go out on a date...…..to an eating contest! Nothing like a stuff your face date to make both parties look desirable. Whatever's there with Garrett is NOT there with Jason. Friend Zone, nothing more. Becca is very noncommittal with Jason's Mom. Mom wants Becca to communicate her feelings about Jason, but Becca's being very generic with her response. His Mom is very careful & measured with her speech. Trying a bit hard not to say something stupid, I'd guess. They also seemed like pleasant normal people. I liked them too. Blake is next: Mr Danny Downer is at it again. More Poor Childhood stories. I'd be depressed to be around that guy. Who the heck is Betty Who? Although having the surprise concert & dancing on the stage was a nice touch. Maybe that was to make up for another downer story beforehand. Well...….both parental couples are there. They all behaved quite nicely, especially to Blake & Becca. My question, however, is: Was that the "coach"? Did she end up with him? Or was this a subsequent husband? Too bad they didn't address that. I am glad Blake is still close with his Mom. Their relationship seemed good. Apparently it weathered the storm OK. All in all (except for the elephant in the room question) they all seemed like nice people, and a loving family to Blake. Colton's up next: Thank God! I'm so sick of the Tia previews every 5 minutes. Glad it will finally be done. Why on earth does Becca keep doing that stupid jump-with-the-legs-wrap thing? It's gotten ridiculous. Give it a rest. You're not 12. Visiting the kids was a really nice touch. It reflected very well on him. What a sweetie. Really nice family too. I see way more between Becca & Colton than I do with Jason, maybe even than with Blake. Colton is my favorite of the 4. The others just do nothing at all for me. Oh great. The B*tch Squad is back. I wish they'd go away. Oh back off, Tia!! You had your chance & he passed on you. Quit causing problems. I REALLY dislike Tia! Colton is just so darned attractive. He deserves better than Becca, but NOT that witchy Tia. Nomatter what Becca says, she doesn't like the fact that Colton's a virgin. She'd vastly prefer someone like her previous "fiancé"- who gets around.....plenty! How'd that work out for you, Becca? Bye Bye Colton. Your Dad seemed to have given her the best advice for you: "If he's not the one, send him home now rather than prolonging the pain & making it worse". That seemed to have sunk in with her, because the reason she told Colton for letting him go was exactly what his Dad told her. That says a lot, She already has her "winner" chosen, and it wasn't him. Uh...…..Thailand? Again? What, did TPTB get a bulk rate on trips there? Boring. No Europe? I wanted Europe. I'll say it again: Bargain Basement Season. Final Rose Ceremony will probably be at a parking lot at Wendy's.

And he wasn't happy when Colton got sent home last night. He wasn't buying the "Colton & Tia's Fabulous One-Time Date Equals Everlasting Love" spin either, although he called Tia a "little troublemaker". He thinks Becca is being short-sighted and sent the wrong guy home. I suppose she could have a change of heart and chase Colton down, much like Arie did when he dismissed Lauren. It would be rehash of something already done, but in just a slightly different light.

He deserves better than Becca, but NOT that witchy Tia. I'd really like to know why she did it? Does she really still have feelings for him? Because if so, you can kiss Colton good-bye. There's no way he will go back to her. Or did she simply want another chance to be in the spotlight for a while? As somebody pointed out, they made a big deal of Sean not wanting to have sex in his Fantasy suite date with Catherine. And what happened? They ended up getting married.
Seriously! That's exactly what I thought. Again? What would be hilarious is if they used the same spot for the proposals that they have in the past. Sharp-eyed watchers will have to let us know if they look the same. If so, then talk about bulk discounts...
Mr. Babb is from England. We actually went to Wales for our honeymoon, and oh my talk about gorgeous. The northern part is very mountainous with several castles. Talk about a perfect place for a proposal.

Final Rose Ceremony will probably be at a parking lot at Wendy's. I hated to quote all of it, but I needed to respond to several things, and some of it was just plain humorous! One thing that I do think is good about the HTs is that somehow the producers finally got the message that going after the parents with the bad manipulating editing to get laughs is not only in bad taste, poor judgement, but also generally not appreciated by the audience. I personally thought it was disgusting and felt like they deserved all the backlash they got.... One thing I have found about people who grew up on farms is that they either can't wait to get away from the life, or no matter what they end up doing, they still have an innate love for the soil. Garrett may be in the latter category although he never returns to farming. Blake's storyline appears to be the tragic life, and that is what we see in the editing just like Garrett's story is the first marriage and the ex-wife.The producers are going to run both into the ground. All 4 of Blake's folks were there. We saw his Mom and his Dad do the talking. But we briefly saw the Coach beside his Mom and the Dad's new blonde wife at his side at the end of the segment. ** One thing I noticed about Blake is he gets the musical dates. Beside Betty Who, he got the Who Let the Dogs Out group, and another one on his 1rst date as well. Jason's Mom zeroed in on it, in my opinion, when she told him, "I couldn't read how she feels about you." Along with several other previously expressed views, I think Becca sees him more as a friend. That jump and wrap thing with all of them??? The previews for Bachelor in Paradise are on, and Tia and Colton are both going to be on. However, Colton at some point is going to have seen the same thing we saw last night. I don't think Colton was going to be F1, but regardless of what she said for dismissing him, how is he going to view that discussion between Tia and Becca? We may never really know.

MTA- if they call him over to the hot seat, maybe it will be Becca who is in that hot seat, and he asks then? I would if I were him, that if Tia showing up, changed her mind in any way..we know, or at least I think we do, it was a set up, or an out for her, but how will he see it?
