This may have already been posted at the old forum. But I just saw it for the first time while searching for a photo for above. Good for Meri! She isn't my favorite...but everyone deserves to love and be loved. Meri Brown Finds Love Again

Whoa! I'm shocked but probably shouldn't be considering the state of her relationship with Kody the last few years. Meri has always bugged me but I am happy for her.

Wow! I'm really surprised --- but really shouldn't be, cause we've all seen that not only have Meri and Kody been unhappy for a very long time, but it seems like Meri's been on-line (and probably other places too) looking for love for a very long time too.
So I'm really happy for her. And I think it's so ironic that the only reason she's now free to live openly in Utah (where she's wanted to be, all along) is because she volunteered to legally divorce Kody -- so she's no longer a "polygamist" and therefore doesn't have to worry about the anti-polygamy laws in Utah.
I hope there will be a new season of Sister Wives cause now I'm dying to see how this all came about, and what the new family dynamics look like. Like, I'm sure Meri must still see the family on occasion, but I wonder if Meri brings her new boyfriend along, and how (if) he gets along with Kody and the women and the kids. And I wonder if Janelle and Christine and Robyn are closer now that Meri is out of the mix. And I wonder if Kody will actively search for another wife, now that there's only the 3 left. Questions, questions, questions!

I've read elsewhere on the web that the man she had her picture taken with recently is the husband of another LulaRoe shyster. And Meri just posted a picture on Instagram a month ago of her and Kody in Chicago "celebrating" their 28th wedding anniversary.
Yep. I want to have a weekend with my ex-husband who has said on national tv that he doesn't - and doesn't want to - sleep with me.
You know how you can tell any member of the Brown family is lying? Their lips are moving.

A "source" close to the family said all this. Meri isn't saying anything, there are no pics. I don't think it's true at all. We'll see I guess.

I just went onto Meri's Instagram account for the first time -- just curious to see if there would be any clues there. To my surprise, Meri apparently has a whole new social life with lots of friends posted --- and barely any family members.
It is pretty clear that Meri did go ahead and buy her family's former house in Utah. And, it looks like she's living in it, and running it as a B&B. (I wonder if her mom is up there with her.)
I have no idea about whether she has a boyfriend or not, but I actually hope she does. Why not. Kody doesn't seem to want her. And how many times has Meri said that she doesn't feel like she belongs in the family any more --- or that she's not comfortable in the family now.
So to me, I would be pleased to see her happy, on her own, and visiting the Brown family frequently, especially to stay close to the kids.

From the reviews online, it looks like Bonnie is running it . . . Meri pops in when she's not trying to sell ugly clothes online or in pop-up sales.

Okay . . . I have to be honest about something regarding the B&B.
Hubby and I just got home from a week-long trip to places north of Arizona to get out of the heat for a few days. We visited the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Salt Lake City, and the Great Salt Lake. As part of the trip, we visited some family gravesites in Ogden and Parowan, Utah.
Yes, we stayed at Lizzie's Heritage B&B . . . and it was absolutely wonderful.
Bonnie (Meri's mother) was a perfect hostess . . . warm and inviting, approachable, and with a great sense of humor. The house itself was immaculate. It is appropriately decorated . . . antiques and family pictures, but not "overdone." The kitchen was modern, well-organized, with a Keurig that was available at all times. When we arrived, there were homemade peanut butter cookies with mini Reese's peanut butter cups on top. Yummy!!!
There are four guest rooms available, and they were all full last night. We were in the "Bee" room . . . and our keychain even had a little bee charm on it. The other folks staying there were all very nice. It was like being on a cruise ship . . . you could hang out with others out on the porch or patio, or you could go off and do your own thing. We walked up to the town cemetery to visit Mr. AZC's cousin's grave, and Bonnie made sure we were headed out in the right direction.
Breakfast was unbelievable. There is an experienced professional cook who lives in Parowan, and she comes to the B&B to make breakfast for the guests. Bonnie asked us last night what time we wanted to eat. We told her that 8:00 would be a good time for us. They served breakfast on a covered patio just off the kitchen. Madeline, the cook, asked how we wanted our eggs cooked . . . or she could make us omelets. We opted for the omelets . . . which were delicious . . . and they were accompanied by creme brulee French toast casserole (Bonnie says it's Meri's favorite). While waiting for the omelets, we were served coffee and orange juice, along with a bowl of fresh fruit, with a side option of a lemon/whipped cream topping. Everything was absolutely delicious.
We had hoped to be on the road by 9:30, but we went out to start our car (which had been acting a little "off" on Friday), and found that our battery was dead. Trust me, Parowan is not the optimal place to have a dead battery, but we called AAA, and one of their guys came over and gave us a jump start. So we ended up not leaving the B&B until after noon. From there, we drove the 20 miles to the booming metropolis of Cedar City, where there was a Wal-Mart, to get a new battery. It actually didn't make us too sad to be "stuck" in Parowan for a couple of extra hours, because we got to spend more time with Bonnie, Madeline, and two ladies (mother-in-law and daughter-in-law) who were absolutely delightful to visit with.
By the time we left, hugs were in order all the way around. And if we head back up that way, we would be more than happy to stay at Lizzie's again.

Happy you had a good time. I hope it does well with or without the show. The big question is if there was any show talk like why they have moved to AZ.

Happy you had a good time. I hope it does well with or without the show. The big question is if there was any show talk like why they have moved to AZ. One of the other ladies asked me if I watched the show, but that was the only mention. Bonnie referred to Meri and "my daughter" a couple of times, but the show, the move to Arizona, LulaRoe . . . no mention at all.

It makes me so happy to hear your wonderful report on Meri's B&B!!! All of the Browns seem to have struggled all these years for something really successful, and it sounds as if Meri's B&B is really wonderful! That kinda warms my heart, and I hope it brings in the money and happiness that she's been looking for.

I'm surprised at how I feel, but I hope Meri gets rich and has a great life there in Utah with her B&B! She was unhappy for so long, and Kody's such a tool. Anyone can see that after he met Robyn, he just left Meri and the rest behind. He might as well have been married to one woman. I never liked Robyn and thought she was a real schemer at first. I later came to see she could be sort of sweet and supportive, but I still always felt that deliberately or not, she sort of took Kody's attention away from the other wives. I'm happy to hear that Meri's mom seems happy and is running the place well. What fun for them! I think that would be a wonderful way to live.
Your narrative about the B&B was so fun to read!

I just had to add, I saw a photo of Meri and she was looking good. She actually looked very pretty, and like she'd lost some weight. Her smile looked relaxed and real, not like she was struggling in the mud.
I liked watching the show the last season or two, since I was bingeing. But I detest Kody and don't like Robyn very much, either. I can take or leave the kids, although they seem nice. I don't like it when kids are on reality shows. It reminds me of the Gosselins.

I'm rooting for them all, including Kody. Generally speaking, even though they have their personal struggles, they all seem like nice people just trying to live their lives as best they can. And I love the kids. There doesn't seem to be even one 'rotten apple' in the bunch --- just the opposite. They all seem like great kids to me.
And even tho Meri can be a bit of a pain, I'm really happy that she finally seems to have found her 'happy place' (literally and figuratively!) Who ever thought that her crazy idea of buying that house in Utah could turn out to be such a good thing for her?

It seems like ages ago that this program was on TV. Has anyone read anything about a new season coming up, or even a special?

One of them (can't remember which) said they didn't see themselves growing old in Las Vegas.
What I can't figure out is how they're going to pay the mortgages on four (as-yet unsold) McMansions PLUS four rentals in Flagstaff. At least the B&B is generating income to help pay for itself.

Very good question AZC. I am sure they have no equity in those houses in LV.

It looks to me like all the info in those articles was pretty much gotten from the Browns - whom I wouldn't believe if their tongues came notarized.
In the article, they say that "usually" the "stars" of a reality show usually get about 10% of what it costs to produce the show. That's not proof of anyone's income. And those "businesses" run by the women appear to most of us to be less than huge money makers.
In the article it says that Meri bought her great-grandparents former home (one true fact in the whole article). She did not "turn it into an inn." It was an inn when she bought it; she just changed the name and put her mother in there to run it.
These are not wealthy people . . . but they play them on TV.

Part of me feels like Meri should just officially leave. I can see why she wants to stay with her family, but she may be happier on her own.
