So I broke down and watched the biggest portion of last nights show. My take is Kody makes a fool of himself every time he opens his mouth and Robyn is as selfish as Kody. It was like she was putting Christine on trial. I wanted to slap her. I do not feel sorry for her at all. Meri what more does Kody have to say that will make you understand he does not want you now nor ever. He couldn't have gotten any plainer in what he said. He only wants to control you and keep this show intact. His meltdown coming up on the next show is so childish. Why Janelle stays is beyond me even though she does her own thing. His kids don't even come around him. Hmmmmm Kody it's yours not anyone else's fault. AND YES he only wants Robyn and her their kids.
KUDOS to Christine for getting out. SHe is the smart one of the bunch. I hope they all leave his rear high and dry.

I don't even watch this show regularly and I'm disgusted. I read a news article where he basically went off about Christine divorcing him and "tearing up the family" and I'm just....flabbergasted? You went out of your way to show your other wives that you don't care about them or your kids together and you priorities are with one wife, but you're mad that one of them got fed up and wants out? How selfish could you possibly be? And Robyn's not much better!
I'm neutral about people having alternative relationships but there's that and there's situations with unhealthy parameters and this is the latter. All of these women need to leave him.

I have not watched last night's epi yet but Christine gets soooooo much APPLAUSE from me for getting the HELL OUT.  Kody is the WORST father EVER. WORST. Robyn sickens me. SICKENS me. Kody kicked all his children to the curb to be ONLY with Robyn and her kids. Does Kody and Robyn really think the viewing audience does not see what a PATHETIC pile of morons she and Kody are. As far as last week ..... I was angry with Meri for being upset, bothered, annoyed with Christine's decision ......  I mean come on now ...... MY LORD Meri has been the MOST UPSET SISTER WIFE EVER. She has LEFT and come back SEVERAL times and she spends 90% of her time AWAY from Kody. How the HELL can she JUDGE? Idiot. Janelle will just stay and stay and stay despite the fact she knows she is ALONE in her marriage to Kody. |

Take this with a grain of salt, but I saw a no-name article on Facebook News said they interviewed Kody and Christine's daughter and she said that Janelle has already left Cody, and that Meri spends more time with friends she calls "her chosen family." Ouch. Like I said, the source was slightly questionable but I hope it's true for her sake. None of this is healthy and Kody and Robyn need to be by themselves.
Also wondering what the child-rearing responsibilities are like with them because if the other wives were helping with that I can see why Robyn would be resentful of anyone leaving because it's less resources for her. I could be wrong, but she seems really aware of her status as "First Wife" and it's really uncool.

I am not one bit surprised as I follow Christine on Instagram and Janelle is with her all.of.the.time. I was thinking WOW, Janelle must travel to see Christine ALLOT but now reading the above.......YUP, I am guessing Janelle has left Cody and all his bullsh&t and is with Christine. Kody never spent any time with Janelle EVER that I saw. EVER. Every picture I see of the ladies, which appears they travel all over the place together visiting each other's kids .... they both appear SOOOOOOO HAPPPPPPY!!!  |

The more articles I see about this show and Kody and his high minded attitude makes me want to punch his lights out. His comment for the upcoming show when he said you stabbed me in the kidneys was so petty and self centered. His little harem is leaving him and he can't stand it even though he wants nothing to do with them. He might as well tell Meri you repulse me because that is basically what he is saying.
The only reason I can think of that these 3 ladies are still on this show is it generates income. Robyn is just dense.

In several episodes it was revealed that Robin and Kody have had a nanny for their kids. So the nanny would be the outside care giver for the kids. Plus, with Covid restrictions strictly enforced in Robin's household for the last 2 1/2 years, the other wives said that they were rarely allowed in Robin's house, let alone allowed to take care of the children. In regard to why Robin was so upset over Christine leaving, if we can believe Robin, she has said many times, that she highly valued having a plural marriage with sister wives, and that was one of the main reasons why she agreed to marry Kody. So, if that's true, then I think Robin was so upset about Christine leaving because, she saw the dissolution of the whole family --- due to Christine's leaving, Meri essentially living her own life away from the family, and Janelle not much more present in the day to day family life than Meri. That leaves Robin as, essentially, in a one-on-one marriage with Kody, which she said she didn't want. |

JMO Normally I would think that a stay-at-home mom with 5 kids and a big house to clean is definitely "working" - but Robin's got a nanny for the kids, so she probably isn't working all that hard. Poor baby! Grow up! Christine is the mother to have many of your children??? You and Christine will be connected forever because you have children. You cannot change that fact as much as you would like to.
He is just so mad that someone other than himself decided to leave the family. He had no say in this and couldn't control her.
I noticed he - and Robyn as well - was noticeably absent helping Christine pack up the house and load up the moving truck. He and Robyn spent the minimal amount of time at the goodbye scene. They couldn't get out of there any quicker, could they???
Next week it looks like Jenelle puts her foot down with Kody.
I haven't watched this show for years, but tuned in for last season and this one. I hope they have a reunion at the end of this season and see him try to make it all about him!

Saw something online yesterday. According to Christine's daughter, Gwendlyn, they absolutely moved all of those people to Arizona because Robyn's son, Dayton, had been accepted at Northern Arizona University. And Mama Bear wouldn't let Baby Bear go off on his own.
So all his "brothers and sisters" had to uproot their lives.
No, Kody's balls are not in the pocket of his favorite wife. Not at all.

Wow!!! They can uproot all these kids and move to AZ so Robyn's son can attend college ... but he could not go to was it, New Jersey (?), for Christine's daughter's spinal surgery.
I'm waiting for Janelle to take off next. Meri will be spending time with her friends and running the B&B and Robyn can have that idiot all to himself.

Christine and Janelle have always been my favorites. They are proving to be the smartest two of the bunch. Meri keeps hanging on which makes her look desperate to me. Meri has always seemed like a whiner, which I don't do whiners.
Wonder what will happen if Meri leaves and there is only Kody and Robyn. Wonder if he'll try to add more sister wives. Surely no one would apply for the job. To keep the show he would have to add to the tribe.
