I'm watching one on ones...think i just figured it all out. These three women before Robin know he doesn't want any of the wives but her sexually and otherwise....and Robin knows this and feels guilty. Because truthfully, her marrying Kody, then him divorcing Meri to adopt Robin's other kids was a shady insult on his part! I never knew why Meri agreed to that, I would have said f*ck NO! If you do that I'm gone. It is an insult to the kid he had with Meri and to Meri herself and all the years before Robin. What kind of fool agrees to that? Did she agree because she felt so guilty after she was catfished? Guilt can age people badly and make them very unhappy. I think Robin's only desperate to keep the others around to soothe her own guilt for "stealing" Kody! It is beginning to show on her face. She is not young and cute now, is she? Why can't they all just fess up?
OMG! Do you think they could all just blame Christine for everything??? This man is insane, as is Robin.
Sorry, guys. Kody has always enraged me, and I'm just amazed at these people! Why would Meri want to be with a man who divorced her for a younger model and wants nothing to do with her sexually or otherwise? I do NOT get it. In the end, I wonder how much of an effect the show had on this disaster?
You've drawn a pretty accurate picture regarding this family, but there's a whole other side of it that I think we have to remember: In the beginning, Kody did not choose Meri! Or Christine! Or Janelle! They chose him! That was how their religion worked. So it's no surprise that he didn't "love" them in the way we would expect wives to be loved. And he didn't really choose Robin either, Meri was the one who chose Robin for Kody. However, we could see, from the first few times that he met with Robin, that he was really attracted to her, in a way that he didn't seem to be attracted to any of the other three wives. That doesn't excuse his behavior toward the other three, or wash away his own bull-headedness, but to me, it goes a long way to explain why, over the years, he's acted toward them in the way he has. |

OK I finally saw it ..... and OMG Kody plays the VICTIM throughout the entire episode.
He is just completely P A T H E T I C.
Christine has moved on and is very happy.
Jenelle is miserable. She misses Christine allot. (I feel she is on her way out).
Meri (in this episode) stated she sees Kody maybe every two weeks. But she is not going any where. hmmmm.
Robyn just cries the whole time. ugh.

I was really disappointed cause I was hoping that the show would be more focused on Christine and Janelle's NEW lives. Maybe it will be, after Janelle leaves Kody in the show. And I am curious to see the dynamic between Kody and Robin as they interact with just each other, as a couple, without the other wives.
And I've recently read that the two of them are looking for a new wife. That should be interesting to see playing out.
(The great news is that Christine and Janelle really do seem so happy in REAL life!!!)

I am absolutely living for the scenes for next week "F**k you Cody!"  Yes Janelle!! It's interesting to hear more from the older kids about how they feel about their father and also Robyn and her kids. Interesting to hear Christine say Robyn was never a sister wife, she never had to share him. That she doesn't really know what it was like. Robyn just continues to make herself out to be the victim and it's so off putting. And then talking about how they need to be there for Cody?! Puhlease. The only reason I'm still watching is to see Cody's ship sink...and I'm enjoying every last second of it. Sorry, not sorry.  |

It's really upsetting to hear Kody keep saying over and over that he and Christine OR he and Janelle have NO REASON to try and work things out --- or to even to have a civil relationship!!!
Well, how about for your KIDS sake, Kody? THAT'S a real good reason to have a good relationship with you ex-wives!!!

Forgive me, I'm a little behind and am making this comment as I catch up on the latest episodes. I cannot believe this asshat MAN! He is not a man, he is a narcissistic psycho boy who thinks he has a right to have every wife AND his children kiss his butt. He makes me sick! I am watching his and Janelle's daughter crying, and trying not to, over her father not bothering to contact her over Christmas. I just heard this useless human being saying of course he will connect with her later to have Christmas! When, Kody??? In the summer? These are his children, he is an adult, and the responsibility was 100% HIS to contact his children and spend time with them over the holidays. They were right there! He is so obsessed with Robin that he sees nobody else....why don't the two of them just admit the truth? Which of course is that they both know they are the only two "married" people in this clusterf*ck of a family.
I almost hate this guy. He's so unaware of how paranoid and crazy he sounds. I was so happy that Christine left his butt and freed herself. She is now happy and it shows. Her kids seem fine, too. I had thought Janelle would leave by now, but her "religion" is standing in the way. It would be ideal for her to go to Utah and live right there with Christine! They'd have so much fun, the show would become more watchable. I'd love to see that. A successful long term tight friendship between two sister wives who leave the husband! It would be nice if Meri could wake up and realize Kody is repulsed by any romantic notions of her as a "wife". Biggest mistake she ever made was divorcing him so Queen Robin could become the legal wife. She is so spoiled compared to Janelle, who has nothing after being the worker in the family. Robin and Kody own a huge nice house and she has nothing but a partial interest in land nobody wants to pay off so they don't lose it. If I were her, I'd find the best divorce lawyer or family type attorney around, and I would try to get everything I could from Kody and the rest. She deserves to be able to leave him and not starve or not have a home of her own! I have no idea what her legal standing is, but if they recognize common law marriage, she should get something.
Kody and Robin are not in pain over any pain they have possibly caused. She can't even admit to herself that she is partially to blame. They need to stop with the whole plural marriage thing and just go do whatever...I can't stand either of them and if they left the show I'd be happy. Robin has this look of worry all the time, furrowed brow, downturned mouth, seems to be so longsuffering. She has not thought about what these other ladies have had to put up with. If they watch these episodes they'd see how all of his worry and concern is for Robin. He doesn't want Robin to see his "dark side"...he is always talking about Robin, and how unfairly she's been treated. Neither will admit that everybody would be better off if they just admitted they want to be in a one on one marriage. Robin's big problem is a mountain of guilt. It will age her badly if she is not able to get to the bottom of it. I am hoping that these other ladies, yes even Meri, go their ways and leave this spoiled little boy. Wonder what Kodpiece would do if both Meri and Janelle both sued him at the same time? LOLOLOL.....
Sorry. I felt it had to be said. I will now go back and see how these episodes end up.

I'd love to see Janelle sue Kody for all the money she took out of her 401K so they could buy that multiple-family house in Utah. She probably wouldn't get anything, but just making him fight through the courts - and maybe having a judge tell him he was an asshat - would be what he really deserves.

I totally agree with everyone who has posted on this Season. Sickening. Kody just sickens me. I feel horrible watching this season. It is so sad. Janelle and Meri .... who I feel are totally ignored by their husband appear to me to be two very sad ladies YET they have this unbelievable ALLIANCE to him. (In the preview for this coming week I heard Janelle say something like she is not prepared to leave him just yet.) Something like that.  And Meri states that she knows she and Kody have NO relationship and yet she so far as no desire to move on from him. AND both ladies see how happy Christine is for getting away from HIM. Robyn, IMHO is FAKE. All that crying .... you are so PHONY .... I really don't think the viewing audience wants to hear from her. I have heard MULTIPLE times on the show that the ladies understood that Robyn needed help with the children hence Kody being at Robyn's home ALLOT ..... WHATTTTTT? That confuses me ...... I am one of five children all 2 years apart and my Mom took absolute fine care of us while Dad worked all day. Our next door neighbor had nine children, the Mom cared for all nine while the Dad worked all day. WHY does Robyn need HELP .... and in a household with THREE high school aged teens???? Christmas was the saddest. Kody and Robyn had TONS and TONS of gifts Christmas morning for their 5 kids .... right down to some pricey scooters all lined up. Janelle's daughter Savannah heartbroken as Kody has IGNORED all the children he has with Janelle. I G N O R E D. So sad. Meri feeling all alone on Christmas but appears she did go to visit Robyn's house, the house Kody is IN 24/7 ..... he DID NOT reach out to any of his children with Christine, Janelle or Meri. Every time Kody opens his mouth he makes himself look like a bigger and bigger and bigger IDIOT JERK MORON. |

Robyn also has or at least HAD a nanny Who - ironically - got covid. She and her husband tested positive the day after Ariella's birthday. So Kody's other kids couldn't come over because they hadn't been following his protocols . . . but the nanny was in and out of the house every day. |

I would think the kids have just blown him off pretty much. Most of them are grown but his and Robyn's. Once Robyn came in the picture they pretty much didn't have a father anymore. He couldn't stay away from Robyn. Sad to say Robyn is aging and doesn't look like the younger woman he married. I think this mess is taking a toll on her. Koty only has himself to blame for all that is going on. Janelle didn't give two flips whether he was around or not and then Christine had gotten her fill of him. He hasn't really wanted Meri from the time I started watching this mess.

I was hoping that this season would be mostly about all the good energy of Christine and Janelle and Meri discovering their new lives, after leaving Kody. Although in these current episodes it's still a bit early for that, in their time line, but maybe as we draw close to the end of the season they will start to show more of that and less of their former lives with Kody. They've all got new friends, new businesses and a new life that would be so interesting to see. |

People were trying to make a big deal about who was at the wedding and who wasn't but besides Meri I don't see why there was this expectation that Kody and Robyn would be there? Why would people think they would even be invited? Christine and Janelle have always been close and she was definitely there. I think Christine only wanted people at her wedding who wish her well. |

This past Sunday ....
Kody is a MISERABLE PITIFUL individual.
I literally was shocked at how horrible Kody acted towards Meri. He could care less what Meri does.
Not even a "can I help you find a new home here before you head to Utah" "can I help you relocate some of your belongings to Utah" ..... IDIOT JERK. PERIOD.
Why do these women give him 5 MINUTES? What would be the point of Meri even getting a small home in Flagstaff when Kody could care less about her?
And Robyn is just so FAKE. F A K E
Janelle .... WOW, Kody actually remembered her birthday. Kody taking her to a lovely pricey restaurant in the hopes of rekindling their relationship.
Kody is 100% devoted to Robyn's 5 children of which 3 are not even his biologically. The rest of HIS kids with Meri Janelle and Christine are totally NEGLECTED by him.
All in all this is really a sad season for all.
