It is 13 celsius, but it feels warmer because the sun is out, the sky is a beautiful blue, and I just came back from walking my hounds. Overnight some parts got down to freezing..brrrr!

We had rain AGAIN, and it was super humid, low 80s. More rain tonight; we're all soggy here.

85 degrees F but with heat index feels like 95....air is very oppressive. Tuesday and Wednesday were both over 90 degrees. I think the heat wave is breaking tomorrow. I feel sorry for the kiddos who went back to school on Tuesday. Our school classrooms are not air-conditioned.

I feel sorry for the kiddos who went back to school on Tuesday. Our school classrooms are not air-conditioned. There are 10 non-airconditioned schools in Baltimore County, including the local high school. There are 60+ non-AC schools in Baltimore City. Since the temps here have been in the mid 90's all week the 10 county schools did not open at all and the city schools closed 3 hours early each day. Things will hopefully be back to normal tomorrow. All of these schools were scheduled to start the school year on Tuesday.

Living on an island off the Atlantic we do tend to get a bit cooler temps but 90+ is still darn hot!

I feel sorry for the kiddos who went back to school on Tuesday. Our school classrooms are not air-conditioned. From experience, I can say that it is perfectly miserable for the students and teachers. Everyone's too hot to do anything, sweating everywhere, and tempers are short. It's horrible. Our weather today was finally beautiful! Partly sunny skies and low 70s.

It was beautiful today. This weekend rain, and they even said the S word for next Thursday. A possibility of snow....

The heat wave has finally broken and the 10 county schools w/o AC are finally having their 1st day of the school year! It's a bit overcast with an expected high in the mid-80's.

We had temps in the 90's all last week, but right now it's only 59 degrees and raining. I love this Fall-feeling weather.
