I watched Jay Jay and Darius..then just used the FF to the end. Hannahlei's face when she won, was a picture!
Jensen was second, Genessy third and Slavik fourth

Hannahlei?!? I was rooting for Jensen, but I'm happy with the selection. Congrats to the Final Four. Onward to making money on the tour. |

From the beginning, Hannalei and Cole were my two favorites. IMO, they were the most well-rounded and have great technique. While I wasn’t thrilled with the last few eliminations, I’m happy with the winner.

I agree Critical, it's a little redemption for the crap part of the season For sure  MY final four would have been Hannalei, Jensen, Cole and JayJay, with either Cole or Hannalei winning, so I'm pleased that at least someone I thought was one of the best dancers won. Usually I find myself annoyed by the winner because it's someone who's popular with the voters vs. the person with the most talent/best technique. After years in a dance studio, I always care about technique - I'm always looking for those pointed feet! Some dancers are all technique and no stage presence, but when they have both, it can be magic.
I have a history of rooting for the dancers who may be the best dancers, but who lose out to a more popular dancer - Travis, Danny, Brandon, etc.....it's a long list!  I think the last time my favorite dancer won was Melanie and she's still, IMO, the best winner they've ever had. I still go back periodically and watch her "Total Eclipse of the Heart" contemporary routine with Neil. Incredible.

I was happy with the final 4. I just wish Slovick went third. For some reason, Gennesi didn't grab me. While she was a GREAT dancer, I just didn't feel a connection to her. I was rooting for Hannalei or Jenenn. Both are beautiful dancers

Absolutely, we'll see her on DWTS. As I was watching (and granted, I FF'd through a lot of it), I kept thinking Jensen wasn't going to win. I was solidly in her corner the whole season, but I think that Nigel wants her so badly for DWTS that he's probably relieved. If she won, she'd have been too busy with the winner's commitments (Rent, the tour, appearances, etc.) that's she wouldn't have been able to do DWTS until at least next fall. This way since she didn't win, she could feasibly start with spring season this year. I don't think it was some big conspiracy that Jensen didn't win, but like I said, I think Nigel is fairly pleased she didn't...now he can play up the Arnold sisters. |

I can definitely see Jensen in the DWTS troupe in a year or two Show producers love those manufactured relationships, don't they? I wonder how much of Slavik's crush on Genessey was real vs. the producers egging him on. |
