Significant things that happened yesterday:- Kaycee didn't use the veto
- Tyler reassured Sam she was safe this week. She told him that if he ever needed to let her go, she'd understand, but please just let her know ahead of time
- everyone had their various check-ins and all agreed Haleigh would be the one voted out
- Brett and JC talked about Angela and Tyler some more. JC commented that his biggest mistake in the game was not paying much attention to Kaycee, Angela, and Tyler. That he was paying more attention to the other side and who was close with who. Brett says that Angela is the one in the middle, that Tyler and Kaycee aren't close.
- Kaycee and Tyler talked about JC and how he underestimates them. They also confirmed the rumors that were going around earlier this summer, that BB has started giving out more money to people who place 3rd through 5th, along the lines of how Survivor does it.
- Haleigh told Brett about the final 4 deal she and Fessy had made with Tyler and Angela. This talk went on for a while, Haleigh saying her best hope to stay is that Sam freaks out this week. Brett continues to deny he's working with the trio of Kaycee / Angela / Tyler and Haleigh again brings up the celebration she saw. He insists he was not celebrating. They agree that it's an "unstable trio" - that Angela and Tyler are a duo, and Angela and Kaycee are a duo, but Tyler and Kaycee are not a duo. This talk went on for a while.
- Haleigh and Brett had another talk later, focused more this time on Tyler and Angela. Haleigh says between Angela and Kaycee she'd vote for Kaycee to win, and between Tyler and Kaycee she'd vote for Tyler.

Sam's up, doing Sam stuff in the kitchen. She pulls a packet of pills/vitamins (?) from her pocket and proceeds to wash them down with coffee, dropping one on the floor.
I don't know what all those were, but there were quite a few.
Other two cams are on sleeping people.

Sam in the bathroom, checking out her outfit in the mirror and talking to herself. She's by herself.
Angela's laying out in the sun by the pool, snacking on something. She's by herself too.
No sign of the rest of them...

Angela was eating a banana with a side PB. Every time I see her eat, it is with a spoon and she always licks the crap out of it.

BB should change things up and do something cool on Tuesdays.
Also reading the show has not been renewed for next season, ratings are down a bit. Too bad, as up to this point, this was one of the best seasons in a long time.

I think they wanted 20 to be a long season. But with no renewal yet, and Julie's life right now...who knows. I wonder about celebrity BB's future as well.

If cbs is foolish enough not to renew, BB will immediately find a new home on another network. You can take that to the bank.

This whole "OMG BB hasn't been renewed yet" panic started because of people reading way too much into one of Vegas' tweets. The show isn't going anywhere. It probably is up in the air whether Julie will return, but there is no way CBS has programming that will fill 4 hours of their summer schedule AND match its ratings, not to mention all the digital revenue from the feeds, which makes way more people subscribe to All Access than ever would have. AND the permanent mountain of social media traffic? Nothing matches BB.
Normally they wait until the season ends to announce the show's renewal. 2 years ago they broke with tradition and announced that 2-year renewal early (around the time All Access was just getting off the ground -- coincidence?). Now, they are probably waiting to see what Julie does before they put out a release.
Anyhoo...
Angela and Kaycee are hanging in the HOH, getting excited over the fact that they will be home again in 2 weeks. Tyler, Brett and JC having some dinner in the kitchen.

Brett and Tyler had a talk about their next moves. I was surprised that Brett actually brought up the idea of getting out Kaycee or Angela next. He said it logically...it would be smart for the two of them (Ty and Brett) to go up against JC and Sam next...it would be the easy win for the competitions. But then Kaycee and Angela would go to the jury bitter. Yet he thinks Sam and JC wouldn't be as upset.
There's part of me that thinks Tyler also agrees with Brett and IS thinking about the game (I HOPE!) but there is the other part that KNOWS he feels more loyal to Ang and Kaycee. Yet...it's really not the smartest plan. I do believe that if Tyler had any part in Angela's eviction he would not only have the jury more...he would have the viewing audience again.
L6 also had the chance to meet to talk about this weeks vote and if it's a double eviction what their plan will be. ...basically all of them "plan" on putting up JC and Sam. If one win veto it was decided that since Angela and Ty haven't seen eviction night on the block it would be one of them. Interesting.... That's a whole lotta trust right there...

This is what I don't like about L6. I love a good blindside but it is the twisting the knife for their enjoyment that I don't like.

I get that...but when they do it to people I don't like, I'm ok with it. And I haven't liked Haleigh from the beginning.

This is what I don't like about L6. I love a good blindside but it is the twisting the knife for their enjoyment that I don't like. I appreciate it as a fan of the game. Is it always smart on their part as far as jury votes go? Nope. But I've hated other seasons where people know they're going home and they just expect and accept it. Ho hum. |

I tend to agree with you on this one Susan. I loved all the blindsides in the beginning but there is NO need for it this time. Kaycee telling her she would break the tie in her favor if there was one, Angela letting her wear her dress, Ty and Brett saying they think she's good. I know they love their blindsides ....but I would skip this one if I were them.
