I don't even remember Joy's blouse! I do notice that she and Whoopi wear much the same clothing over and over, while the other three always seem to wear something we haven't seen before every day. BTW, not to bring up the same subject as I did last week (well, I guess I am bringing it up again), today Wendy Williams on her show questioned why The View should ever show a week of reruns instead of alternating their weeks off one by one ... just what I said! When the ladies go on break, I stop watching because of the Hot Topics issue. I wonder if that's why The Talk gets awards that The View does not?

Sunny stated that Judge Kavanaugh is a moderate conservative, to which Meghan agreed. DT's campaign promise was to overturn Roe v Wade. A sure way to have accomplished that would have been to nominate Judge Barrett but instead he nominated Kavanaugh. Why? Because Kavanaugh wrote that he thinks a president should be impeached not investigated. So Joy's concern is the obvious, there is no balance in the House or the Senate for impeachment. It's not a bipartisan issue - it's a "they won't do it" issue. If a president commits an impeachable offense, he should be impeached. If that is determined, will our current Congress impeach him? It's not looking likely. In fact, they're probably going to confirm a judge who won't even let him be investigated. Meghan didn't think it through when she brought up the signage. If it is true, and we don't know that it is, it's really of no consequence. The field of four was given to us days ago. If you don't support one, you're probably not going to support any of them as they're all leaning the same way. And if you did, you wouldn't have been there protesting. So for Meghan to say that they haven't even looked at him but yet they are saying they already don't like him, she only opened up the door for Joy to say, "They're taking a page from Mitch McConnell's book!" acookertv you ask, "Should we just operate with a court that does not have the justices intended?" I believe that was Joy's point - we already did. That's where I think that Alan Dershowitz points are so valuable on the question of impeachment. He said in his interview, when a president SHOULD be impeached, the evidence against him is so strong that it has majority support regardless of party. He used the example of Nixon - Nixon stepped down because he knew he was going to be impeached because it was the members of his own party who were telling him he no longer had support. He also made mention of Mueller ( because Joy says impeach every episode), there has been no tampering with Mueller, tampering is a crime, criticizing is not.. It was interesting what he said about OJ,he's an interesting man... The biggest thing he said, there is no evidence to impeach the president ..maybe he should have said yet, but he didn't..

Because then the crew never gets any time off at all. Plus they already rotate the hosts and bring in guest hosts all the time. I'm pretty sure they could give the crew time off on a rotating basis as well. Wendy has had her own talk show for years, so I don't think she would have suggested that if it would eliminate vacations for crew members.
They only bring in guest hosts for a day or two when someone's sick or out of town, like Meghan visiting her father. They could easily bring in guest hosts for a week to sub for a panel member on vacation. If they need to have a solid month or more off, that could be a problem.

Even Dems on the Floor don't want him impeached, not yet. Today's news about the Senate might give Joy hope as they rebuked everything DT has said about NATO and insisted on a strategy to stop Russia from further interference. This is the type of balance of the three branches she was referring to.

Made me angry that Meghan came to the table with a shock and awe, didn't see that coming approach. It's been a train coming at us full speed. NOW you want to do something? Now that we're wholly compromised and have offended all of our allies?

Yesterday someone on Facebook posted an invitation for 1/2 price pint night at a local brewery, and I immediately wondered if 1/2 pints were also half price. That's fun that they go drinking together.

Jeanine Pirro, who happens to not like OBama very much, and was having her say. I like to hear both sides, so I didn't shut it if off..its a guest that tried to say certain things and of course she threw shade at Obama, some of it correct..and some of it was not.. I wonder who is on tomorrow..and no view your deal today..

Whoopie lost it in the last minute of the show and yelled at the guest. When they came back for the good-bye, the guest was gone and Whoopie apologized as the one thing she doesn't want to be shown as is hysterical.
Yes the guest was difficult. She's known Trump for 30 years and talks to him regularly and visits the oval. I FF through the second half of the interview when it became about her book and the ideas were all liberal dog whistles. Oh, she has a show on FOX on Saturdays if you want to check her out.

Ok, thanks, Fanny. I know who Pirro is. I think she used to be Westchester County (New York) district attorney, if I am not mistaken.

If they don't want to hear one bad word about Obama, which she did, then do not have these people on. They said, don't bring him up he's been gone for awhile. So then the judge says unemployment and GDP are up under Trump, and they said that was Obama....

I watched all of the Judge Janine interview. I think that she came onto the show looking for a fight, and wanting the publicity of a moment like Bill Oreilly has had on the show. She drowned in and on in a way any tv host knows is problematic, and then got hissy saying let me finish anytime a host tried to move her along. She was asked tough fair questions, and got called out on dodging them. I like the way the women teamed up to let her show her true colors. Whoopi did take the bait which was unfortunate. But at least she took it only after Janine made it personal against her. My favorite part of the show was after they signed off and Ana stood up and went right over to Whoopi to support her. I loved seeing that. Ana is truly a class act.

I don't watch The View but I come here to read as you all are probably more entertaining. If you get a chance, ECM, watch it. The tipping point had nothing to do with Obama, rather it was when Jeanine Pirro falsely accused Whoopi as having DT derangement syndrome. She specifically pointed to her and when Whoopi said to her that she does not have that, what she suffers from is the frustration to not be able to do anything about the hatred that the present guy has been spewing, Pirro took her comment and ran with it off into left field, all the while smirking.

No. There is some product that does ads on social media that come across as a news item claiming Joy left the show to sell this product that is so fantastic. But it's all BS. She's still very much on the show, she was just off yesterday.
