I might have to watch some of The Apartment just to laugh at the bad designs. We saw Outlaw King the other night - it was quite good. There were several pretty brutal (gory) scenes, but it wasn't excessive given the subject material. I almost wish they'd made it a miniseries instead of a movie... You have to watch The Apartment just to see how horrible Pearlyn is. She's pretty horrible! The designs were pretty bad in general, but once I got hooked, I couldn't stop. LOL

LOL Yeap, the designs were horrible, but some of the garden ones were good, the kitchens were surprising good, and then the finale blew me away and I thought what the heck happened.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power - actually pretty good. OK the animation was a bit all over the place, I think they may have been using several studios. Way too much purple. There was a good underlying story. Luv'ed that it showed women of all different shapes, sizes, color and orientation. It is subtle. Sometimes I do want to smack Adora and Catra in their heads. Both these ladies just cannot see past their own personal drama to the bigger picture.
Good world building but you don't really understand it all until the finale.

There are maybe 3 I'm looking forward to and one I'm so sad is leaving - Spotlight. That has been a go-to for me.

We binged "The Kominsky Method" with Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. Some old Hollywood faces, and moments of interest. But after finishing the first season, I looked at Mr. AZC and said, "This is like watching 'Seinfeld and Friends Grow Old.'" I was NOT a Seinfeld fan . . . so this is not a compliment.

I've been trying to decide whether or not to watch this. Sounds like maybe it's a NOT!

We tried watching House of cards, it has a very very good cast. I really hate Kevin Spacey, but damn it, I miss Francis. We are on episode 4, it seems so dry, and Claire talking to the camera, it doesn't work. jmho

Sick Note with Rupert Grint. When Daniel is misdiagnosed with a fatal disease he notices how everyone begins to treat him better. This display of empathy prevents Daniel from telling the truth about his health. It was a fun and silly little comedy show. I did find myself cracking up often.
Cam, Netflix movie with Madeline Brewer. A young camgirl discovers that she has inexplicably been replaced on her site with an exact replica of herself. It was weird and odd but I kept watching.

New episodes of Big Dreams, Small Spaces. There are also two other series with Monty Don, Italian Gardens and French Gardens.
Like The Great British Bake Off I find these shows incredibly relaxing.

Yeah. I really enjoy Big Dreams, Small Spaces. I was so excited to see that there were new episodes, and then I realized that I've already watched them when I had a temporary add-on subscription in Amazon Prime that had a bunch of British home and garden shows.

Any Bojack Horseman fans? Highly recommend the show - it's not a silly cartoon, it's about the cruelty of working in Hollywood, and it doesn't sugarcoat it.

Perhaps all is not lost... ---------------------------------------- Marvel Promises More Daredevil “Adventures” After Netflix Cancellationby Dominic Patten November 30, 2018 9:51am Daredevil may not be coming back to Netflix after yesterday’s sudden cancellation of the series, but there is clearly more in store for the Man Without Fear, as Marvel confirmed today. A statement this morning from the home of The Avengers and Spider-man used very similar language to what the streamer signed off with to indicate that Hell’s Kitchen’s blind protector isn’t done yet on the small or perhaps big screen. “We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future,” said the Disney owned comic giant Friday. That’s a lot like ““while the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel” that the streamer stated on November 29 in announcing the pink slipping. And there was this tweet that went up soon after Deadline exclusively broke the news of Daredevil‘s demise on Netflix last night: Which raises eyebrows that perhaps after three seasons on the streamer, the Charlie Cox portrayed character could show up on the upcoming second season of The Punisher on Netflix or maybe in the next season of Jessica Jones. The former makes more sense as the ruthless Jon Bernthal played vigilante was a big part of Daredevil Season 2 back in 2016. With the streamer’s cancellation of Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage in the past several weeks, Jessica Jones and The Punisher are the only Marvel series left on Netflix. Whip up the digital flagpole soon after the big multi-series deal that Disney/Marvel and the then light on original series Netflix in 2013, Daredevil was the first show of that agreement with its first season launching in 2015. Of course, the remarks by both Marvel and Netflix could also mean that this current Daredevil or a variation of the Matt Murdock character could show up on the already Marvel heavy Disney+ streaming service that the House of Mouse is rolling out next year. Either way, Marvel had a lot of nice things to say about Cox, his castmates and everyone involved with Daredevil today. Read their full statement here:

So I've watched a couple of the Netflix Christmas movies, and each of them has had a scene where the protagonist is settling in to watch a movie on Netflix, and the TV menu shows several of the other Netflix Christmas movie titles. Talk about shameless self-promotion. LOL

Seriously pi$$ed about Daredevil. What this means is that they’ll be canceling The Punisher and Jessica Jones once they’ve aired the next season of each Daredevil was my favorite of the Marvel series on Netflix, along with Jessica Jones.

There seems to be a huge feud between the gentleman who runs Marvel Studios vs the gentleman who runs Marvel TV in addition to Disney, which owns Marvel, wants to launch Disney +, a streaming service in direct competition with Netflix and does not want Netflix to have shows with Marvel characters as that is a lure to viewers. This maneuver is a way around the contractual obligations Marvel has to Netflix and the Marvel shows Netflix is currently airing.

Baby Netflix 6 episode Italian series, Involves the lives of students who attend an exclusive Roman high school and 2 girls who turn to high-end prostitution to make money. Loosely based on Baby Squillo scandal. I was hooked, teen dramas tend to do that to me.
Transfers Netflix 6 episode French series, Five years after drowning in a boating accident, ordinary man Florian Bassot wakes up in policeman Sylvain Bernard's body, with scientists having found a way to transfer his consciousness. If you like Travelers and Altered Carbon you will enjoy this.

Maybe episode one was the "setup" episode because it was fast paced the whole time. It set it up for a very interesting season 2 I'll say that!!
