Bodyguard BBC/Netflix - I loved every second of this series! I like not knowing what the hell was going to happen next.
I am a Killer Netflix - Death row inmates convicted of capital murder give a firsthand account of their crimes in this documentary series. Very interesting and scary but real.

Is anyone watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix? I have watched only 2 or 3 episodes so far and find quite watchable, though dark.

It had the same Riverdale cheese factor. I was interested b/c it was supposed to be the complete opposite and darker version of the original. Let us know how it is, I'm up to giving it another shot.

A few of the recent posts in this thread seem like they belong in the binge watching thread. I’m not going to move posts, but please make sure you’re posting in the correct thread so things don’t get too mixed up

Is it binging if you do it over a period of two or three weeks? Is it binging if you watch two to three episodes in at row and then wait until the following weekend to watch the next two or three?

Watched nine episodes last Friday and finished the last one the next morning. Very dark, very intense. I really liked it. I reminded me more of Heathers than Riverdale. It contains quite a bit of legend in it, definitely entertaining.

Thanks for all the recommendations about Bodyguard. I had put it on my list but watched it due to all the praise. Wow, so good! I would definitely be in for a second season.

I would think there would be a little crossover because of that. I can't think of many shows there that I only watch one episode at a time.

I can't think of many shows there that I only watch one episode at a time. It's excruciating. I've become so used to watching a whole season whenever I want to. Waiting on network shows to air every week is the worst. I really think it's why shows like Manifest aren't going to work anymore. We're all about instant gratification now-a-days!

It's almost 11/1! A "new" series of GBBO should drop any minute...right??

Is anyone watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix? I have watched only 2 or 3 episodes so far and find quite watchable, though dark. I had ignored this one on Netflix, thinking it'd be a goofy YA series. But after seeing a bunch of positive reviews, I watched five episodes yesterday. It's pretty good! Not at all like I thought it would be.

Started that new Sabrina series on Netflix and made it through episode 2. As Far as British Baking, I thought their season 3 was already on Netflix. They added the first season with the new hosts a few months ago. Maybe they really are going back to the true season 1 - that would be something special. This is confusing as they do have a new series on Netflix and are calling it The Great British Baking Show: Beginnings, but I think it the one we just watched on PBS???

Finished:
Churchill's Secret Agents: The New Recruits highly recommend it.
The Hollow, it is animation, and there was a twist then a twist to the twist at the end.

According to this article, Beginnings is the third season that aired in the UK. www.vulture.com/2018/08/netflix-is-getting-3-new-seasons-of-gbbo-and-1-old-one.htmlI don’t know if that season has aired on PBS or not.

Yes it has. I took a look at it ("Beginnings") and it calls it S1E1,but it is actually the last season before they changed networks. This was the one that David? won and the older gentleman came in third. This season is actually in the 5 season clump in another thread called Great British Baking Show.
I was pissed. Nothing new (or even older) about it.
After getting ticked off about that, I went searching and landed on The Originals. Normally I hate vampire/wolf stories, but I said WTH and was hooked in he first episode. Still in season one and other than a lot of blood and violence, I find the characters fascinating.

Just finished Godless, a 7 part Oater on Netflix. It is so, so, so very good!! It has horses, lawmen, outlaws, Buffalo soldiers, saloons and two of my favorite actresses: Michelle Dockery (Mary from Downton) and Meritt Wever (the quirky nurse from Nurse Jackie), and Just wonderful stories and charactors! I highly recommend this one as a daylong binge!

Netflix and The Great British Baking Show
The seasons are all messed up with season 6 collections first, the season 5 thru season 1. Season 6 is the most recent GBBO that aired August 2018.

The first three British seasons did not air in the US on PBS or later as a pickup to Netflix.
Netflix starts with the first PBS season (season 4 U.K.) and continues through the latest season 9 in the U.K. and calls it season 6 on Netflix.
Except for the first three U.K. seasons, Netflix is all caught up.

The Apartment - Asian's highest rated reality show - amateur teams doing interior design - to win a house/townhouse/condo in Kuala Lampur.
The designs are HORRIBLE.
I think the Asians and the casting director have something against normal size, puggy people as these are all tall, thin legs, model types.

I might have to watch some of The Apartment just to laugh at the bad designs. We saw Outlaw King the other night - it was quite good. There were several pretty brutal (gory) scenes, but it wasn't excessive given the subject material. I almost wish they'd made it a miniseries instead of a movie...

You have to watch The Apartment just to see how horrible Pearlyn is.
