The Haunting of Hill House, binged it this weekend. It was so good! I am a horror junkie so to have 10 intense episodes was everything! I love being scared so watching it in the dark was a early Halloween treat. The story is told from past to present. Lots of twists and turns. The cast and cinematography was great. It was executed so well. Definitely recommend! If you don't like horror then you should probably pass.

Normally, I'd jump right in to watch Maniac, but I'm not sure my love of Emma Stone could help me overcome my intense dislike for Jonah Hill. Are you me? i will probably watch it eventually. But yeah. There are SO many other things to watch that I'm okay missing this one. Emma Stone generally trumps my dislike of anyone else, but I just can't stand JH.

Rewatching TrollHunters ... still a great show.
3 Below which is the next segment of TrollHunters drops December 21, 2018.
Anon - a Netflix movie ... interesting concept totally dries up due to slooooooooow pacing at the 1:10 mark ... fast forwarded thru the last 36 minutes of the movie. This movie shows the possibility of all of society hooked up to social media and living too much in your head with data about everything thrown at you and everyone knows everything about you as all your data is accessible.

Kindergarten Teacher movie, Maggie Gyllenhaal is a teacher married with children that sees promise in her 5 year old student who goes to unreasonable lengths to protect his talent<<<< That is an understatement. Her student recites poems and she starts to use them in a poetry class she is taking. Maggie is so good that I was uncomfortable and wanted to look away but I couldn't.

Watched four episodes. Going to watch more tonight. Very well done.

I didn't even want to get out of bed to turn off the light I loved the cast ...they did a really good job at making sure the adults actually looked like the young children ...who were INCREDIBLE little actors & actresses. Little Nelly? My goodness she was amazing! I still have so many questions and could go on watching 3 or 4 episodes every night I'm really hoping for a season 2...but they wrapped it up so neatly that it would be hard to have another season.

I watched it on Saturday and LOVED it. IMO, they returned nicely to the tone of season 1.
Since it looks like the new association with Disney may be leading Netflix to pull the plug on its Marvel series - they've already canceled Iron Fist and Luke Cage ( ) - what's to say they won't dump the other Marvel series too? If that happens, at least Daredevil went out on a great season. I hope it's renewed, but I'm not feeling terribly optimistic. The two recently canceled series had largely positive reviews for their recent seasons too. I'll be particularly bummed if they cancel Daredevil and/or Jessica Jones. Those are my two favorites.
Count me out on The Haunting of Hill House. Nope. Not going there.

I just binge watched all of "I'm Sorry" season 1. Short episodes. I haven't laughed this much since Curb your Enthusiasm. Really funny, kind of raunchy, but the situations the main character finds herself in - and her verbal reactions to themj - just had me cracking up laughing non-stop. Fun show.

Me too.......naaaa, Kar does not do SCARY at all. CriticalI was so bulls%&t when I read yesterday about Iron Fist and Luke........GEEZ......... So what will they do? All those actors no longer starring in those FABULOUS series? So Disney wants to get rid of all the Marvel Netflix shows esp when they have such good reviews? UGH And as far as Krysten Ritter......I absolutely love her JJ.......everything she brought to that character........LOVE.

Not all of the Marvel series were great, but even Iron Fist, which I think was the weakest of the group, had shown a lot of improvement, especially in the back half of season 2. I was looking forward to season 3 and how Colleen would adjust to her new powers. For now, it looks like we're getting season 3 and season 2 of Jessica Jones and The Punisher, respectively, but now I worry that those will both be canceled too. I'm bracing myself for a Daredevil cancellation announcement
Why does Disney have to ruin everything and BE in everything? UGH
Yes, LOOOOVE Krysten Ritter. Even when I hate her character, like in Breaking Bad, I still love her. She's just flat out great as Jessica. Perfect casting.

Making a Murderer Season 2, I can't get enough of this show/case! Another compelling 10 episodes. Although I've read the headlines the last 3 years, it's completely different watching the attorneys, family, and defendants live through it in real time. Fantastic documentary.

I read that the first season of The Great British Baking Show is going to start on Netflix on November 1.
UPDATE: It's actually the THIRD season in England . . . which they call season 1 here . . . and we've already seen it. Boo.

I use OnDemand for everything that is not on Netflix.

Ok color me confused....... If you have Netflix.....why are you bothering with OnDemand? I use OnDemand for everything that is not on Netflix. With Netflix available to members through Comcast/Xfinity it is just easier to access my Netflix account there rather than using my Amazon Fire Stick to switch "source" to get to Amazon Prime/Netflix/Hulu etc. on my Samsung TV. I'm always about the easier way to go! Nowadays we all have our own ways to get where we want to go depending on what systems we have. I'm old enough to remember when there were only 4 broadcast channels. Thank God there are now more channels than I can possibly use, since my retirement all I have to do is find ways to amuse myself all day long!

Finished Dragon Pilot - Japanese anime kinda weird. If you have closed caption on it does not match the dialog. Watching: - Taste of the Country
- Churchill's Secret Agents: The New Recruits
- Ultraviolet
- The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
- Kiss Me First
The Dragon Prince will have a second season.

Puts Homeland to shame imho

I'm not a big fan of movies like Saw or The Purge, because I'm not entertained by gore, but this is goooood. It's scary and you get a few jumpy scares (but not too many). It's mostly just creepy and mysterious and psychotic. We've watched 4 episodes so far and I can't wait for the rest!

Started that new Sabrina series on Netflix and made it through episode 2.
As Far as British Baking, I thought their season 3 was already on Netflix. They added the first season with the new hosts a few months ago. Maybe they really are going back to the true season 1 - that would be something special.
