Yeah, I don't think they'll do a second season of Godless either, but I read something with (I think) the showrunner and he said he'd be interested to try a season 2. IMO, sometimes shows are only meant to last a certain amount of time. Godless seems like a good example of a show that had a definite beginning, middle and end. Still, if they did do a season two, I'd definitely watch.

I think you're considering that a good thing, but to me, it's not. It's just TOO MUCH. The first season was much tighter. This season is a bit all over the place. I just finished up Godless on Netflix. I definitely see why it got so much critical acclaim. Jeff Daniels and Merrit Wever are incredible and so is Michelle Dockery. Talk about someone who's making great career choices post-Downton Abbey! First Good Behavior and now this.
I don't see how they'd do a second season, but it would be interesting to see them try. There were a few characters left alive at the end of the season Love Love Love this show........waiting patiently for the next Season. Found this article from MAY 2018. Put it on NETFLIX, that might help. Good Behavior’: TNT Trying To “Properly Bring It To Conclusion” With Final Chapter
deadline.com/2018/05/good-behavior-tnt-season-3-final-season-conclusion-renewed-canceled-1202392316/p.s. Critical ..... as far as Netflix viewing ..... I don't binge. I just can't. That is too much for me. If I watch 2 episodes of a series at once that is allot for me. I generally watch ONE episode and move on to another series. I do see everyone posting on the "Binge" thread ..... that type of viewing overwhelms me.

I work from home and can work while watching TV, so I binge most of the day, either in the living room on the TV or in my studio on a laptop. I actually get annoyed having to wait sometimes because I'm so programmed to watch episodes one after the other. I've got far too many things in my Netflix queue that are subtitled. I don't have the time to just sit and watch something while doing nothing else. Still, I'd rather wait until I have time to watch it with subtitles that watch it dubbed into English. I've had Cable Girls in my queue for ages because it's in Spanish with subtitles. I just looked a while back and they have it dubbed into English. NOPE. That's one of my big pet peeves. Makes me feel like I'm watching an old Godzilla movie from my childhood!

They could always follow Ryan Murphy's example, and keep using the same actors in different stories like a repertory company.

Not a bad one in the bunch.
I'm not sure what I'll watch next. Maybe Looming Tower on Hulu. Jeff Daniels got an Emmy nod for that show as well.

Finished watching the rest of Dark Tourist and I have to admit that while the rest of the episodes were very respectful of the people and places they went to, some of those places (ie: The suicide forest in Japan, the "tour" of the empty town that had a nuclear leak) should have been left alone. Seeing mostly Westerners going to these areas that were catastrophic for the people who live there as "entertainment" once again left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I'll pass on any future seasons.

I've been doing some looking backward on Netflix by re-watching Madmen. I am finding so much that I glossed over on the first airing of the show. Those early episodes were better than I remembered. I feel bad for Betty Draper, so pretty, so stuck living in the 50s. Seeing how the men treated the women is teeth gritting--and so maddening!

I am a huge Jonah Hill fan so I watched Maniac.
Annie and Owen are two strangers who are drawn to a mysterious pharmaceutical trial. Each has a different reason for participating in the experiment -- she is disaffected and aimless, fixated on broken relationships with her mother and sister, while he has struggled throughout his life with a disputed diagnosis of schizophrenia.
They basically takes 3 different pills and relive trauma they are holding onto. After the third pill, they are "cured" and will be happy forever.
The premise was intriguing. It was probably everything the creator intended it to be, but it fell flat for me. There were parts I really liked, then it just got too weird.

Has anyone watched Black Mirror? I recently started watching it after listening to Tyler and Haleigh from Big Brother describe it on the live feeds ( ). It is WEIRD! Every episode is a new story...with a different cast (so far I'm only in the 1st season) that is mostly British. It kind of reminds me of The Twilight Zone. ...science fiction and very futuristic.

I love Black Mirror! There are some episodes that I loved and stayed with me long after I watched, while others are...just okay. Season 5 is going to be released in December on Netflix, and at least one of the episodes will be done in a "choose your own adventure" style where your decisions determine what happens to the characters. I can't wait! (BTW, make sure you go into watching Season 2s "White Bear" unspoiled, as the twists in that episode is particularly...disturbing.)

It is a British show in that it aired on a UK channel for the first two seasons (plus a Christmas special). Then it was picked up by Netflix who made season 3 and 4, so those seasons have more Americans in the cast, as well as some American writers. The fact that each episode follows a single story means you don’t have to watch every episode, or watch in order or anything, and also means if you dislike one episode, that doesn’t mean you would dislike others. It is a good show.

Yeah...I just realized actually that Netflix has somehow bumped me around. I've seen an episode in season 3 and 4. The first episode "The National Anthem" is by far my least favorite....yuck.

I looked it up and found that it happened in early 1962 and among the victims was Linda McCartney's mother.

I had never heard of Black Mirror until last semester for school it was one of our assignments to view the" Men Against Fire" episode and hubby watched that episode with me. I continued on to do my homework and hubby loved that one episode he ended up watching the whole season. I never got back to watching any other episode. But you are right ... how unique with each episode being so different.

I heard that is one of the most scary episodes. Interesting about season 5...I wonder how they will even go about that?!? It's pretty easy; they already use the tech for certain children shows. You get to a certain part of the show, and then selections pop up at the bottom of the screen. You click on one with your mouse (or remote control) and it takes you to whichever selection you choose.
(FYI, White Bear is more intense and creepy than scary; but it's when it gets close to the end that you're thinking "wth, what am I watching?" What's really scary are the implications of it in a modern world; there are definitely people who would be fine with such a scenario taking place, but would it really be such a good thing in the long run? It's an episode that definitely makes you think.)

I watched it last night! Super creepy. After I wrote "scary" the other day I was thinking to myself...."that's the wrong word." The episodes are definitely creepy and weird rather than scary. I'm glad I didn't know anything about it beforehand. Except I was pretty good at guessing things that were going to happen next while my man was guessing ALL the wrong things

Elite on Netflix - Spanish language drama - 8 episodes, 3 high school students receive a scholarship to a prestigious institute. Love, lies, betrayal, and murder. I'd say it is a mix of How to Get Away with Murder and a darker version of Gossip Girl. Cliche, provocative, and funny. The story kept moving at a good pace that I kept going to the next episode then the next episode...

Finished season 2 of Lords and Ladles - each season consists of 6 episodes where 3 Irish chefs visit a grand house in Ireland and attempt to recreate a historic menu that had been served at the house. In the last episode of season 2 the chiefs recreate a dinner from 1798 The Year the French invaded Ireland and General Humbert and his officers came uninvited and the lord and lady of the manor where their hosts for dinner. You learn a lot about the history of the house, how they cooked in the day, how each manor house had a walled garden. The local sources of product. They do a lot of organic, back to nature in raising veggies and meat.

Has anybody watched Making a Murderer? Season one had 10 episodes; season two starting soon. It's captivating! True story about a man who was convicted of murder who insists he is innocent. Show is an in depth documentary of the case. Absolutely fascinating.

It is really WEIRD. REALLY.
I love ES (ANNIE) (as a matter of fact my new baby granddaughter will be named EMMA....awwwww) and ES really is awesome in this...........OH and RUTH from OZARK is also in MANIAC.
ES is aggressive and filled with anger.
JH (OWEN) is the complete opposite, quite reserved and peculiar.
