We watched The Most Hated Man on the Internet. What a slime this guy is! I can't believe he was able to get away with the things he did.

I really had hoped that they would have caught underage girls on there (which I'm sure there were) as he would have gotten a stiffer sentence.

Usually not into shows like Virgin River but was on a cruise and during the downtime binged all four seasons. Love love loved it. Scenery is beautiful and I cruised out of Vancouver so kept looking around to see if I spotted anything familiar. Lol.

So many other great Netflix/Amazon/Hulu/Disney/Apple Series that I forgot about S3. I just finished S3. Been watching VR for a while and then we had the dreaded covid delay. I am excited to start S4. I love VR!!!

Yes. It does seem like she's been pregnant a long time. I also want to see where Brady and Jack's sister, Brie's relationship goes.

Has anyone watched ' The King' - starring Timothee Chalamet??? This film is one that I would not have been normally drawn to, but OMGosh, it was sooooo good! It's the true(ish) story of England's King Henry V, in the 1400s. A young man who should never have become king, and how he became king, and what he accomplished in the few remaining years of his life. "The King" - Trailer from IMDb www.imdb.com/title/tt7984766/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1

Adding Virgin River and The King to my list... A few things I've watched recently (lots of spooky stuff): The Most Hated Man on the Internet - what a pig this guy was. I can't believe he didn't get more jail time. Valley of the Dead - a horror/comedy zombie tale set during the Spanish civil war. Subtitled. And better than I thought it would be with that description. The Wretched - teen angst and a creepy witch next door. This was really good also. Umma - I saw Sandra Oh and Dermot Mulroney in the cast and had to watch. This could have been a great horror movie but it was kind of awful and boring...so disappointing. Trainwreck: Woodstock '99 - I remember wanting to go to this so, so badly back in the day, but I had just started a new job and couldn't swing it. Man, I'm glad I didn't go.

Sandman - 10 episodes - "The Sandman is a comic book written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics" - while it is part of the DC universe the showrunners thankfully they are keeping it separate from that mess.
Have watched 3 episodes so far. Beautifully done. Watching one episode a day to savor it all.

I'm on the last episode of Woodstock '99 and i love it. I was a teeny bopper when it occured and remember it vividly. I wanted to go so bad, but i didn't have any money or a way to get there. It's disappointing that greed got in the way of everything and it turned out the way it did.

WE watched I Just Killed My Dad a true story about this teenager who shot his dad. It reminded me of The Girl in the Picture with another story that has way more below the surface. {Spoiler} His bio mother leaves the house to get away from the husband and left her son behind. I understand you fear for your life, but what could he do to the kid? Then after he was taken, she seemed to have a lot of information but she didn't seem to go very far with it. I would have been on the news every day!

The Sandman - finished all ten episodes of season one. Took the time to watch over a week to really absorb the story and the visuals.
The Sandman was created by Neil Gaiman, an English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, nonfiction, audio theatre, and films. His works include the comic book series The Sandman and novels Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, and The Graveyard Book.
The Sandman is based on a comic book based in the DC Universe however the showrunners are deliberately not tying the Sandman with best known DC characters.
Fans of the CW The Legends of Tomorrow or the movie of the same name will recognize the name Constantine.
Fans of the TV series of Lucifer will also recognize similar elements.
The first 3 episodes focus on Dream/Morpheus being summoned and held captive by humans for over a 100 years.
The middle episodes focus of Dream/Morpheus regaining his power, some of the episodes seem very detached from the series but continue watching as it all will make sense.
The series wraps up nicely. The series does not always focus on Lord Morpheus so some viewers may wonder what is going on but season 1 does tie up nicely.
The production, costumes, and set design is exquisite. There is blood, gore, and some unpleasant scenes as there are dreams and nightmares in the Dreaming.
Well worth watching.

Uncoupled series - A man has had his life turned upside down after his partner walks out on him after 17 years. Created by Darren Star and starring Neil Patrick Harris! I was sold just off that. NPH does not disappoint, he hits all the marks on this comedy series.
Purple Hearts movie - Despite their many differences, Cassie, a struggling singer-songwriter, and Luke, a troubled Marine, agree to marry solely for military benefits. A predictable love story but it hits all the right notes! It reminds me of an early 2000βs romance movie. Loved it!
The Sandman series - When the Sandman, aka Dream, the cosmic being who controls all dreams, is captured and held prisoner for more than a century, he must journey across different worlds and timelines to fix the chaos his absence has caused. I canβt speak to the comics, but as a series it was fine. It started at a high, took a dip in the middle but had a conclusion. Itβs a little cheesy for me but I am also not the audience for it.
You Donβt Know Me 4 episode series - A young man stands accused of murder. The evidence is overwhelming. But at his trial, this man tells an extraordinary story. At times, a slow burn but has enough unexpected twists to keep you hooked.
Never Have I Ever season 3- Another enjoyable season from Mindy Kaling. This show is so cute. Love the humor! Final season premieres next year.
I Just Killed My Dad, 3 episode docuseries - Anthony Templet shot his father and never denied it. This series takes you through the why. Good documentary with an unexpected twist.
Girl in the Picture documentary - A young mother's mysterious death and her son's subsequent kidnapping open a decades-long mystery. Great documentary with a sad story.

I don't have a Netflix account, but for those that do. They have approved a reboot for the great reality show, The Mole. No word yet on who will be the host, but I really liked that show when it was on originally. It will be hard to beat Anderson Cooper though.

I Just Killed My Dad - pretty sad how this boy was raised, his father was trash.
D.B. Cooper: Where Are You?! - interesting documentary...so many people are still obsessed with this story.
Inside the Mind of a Cat - cute hour-long show about...cats!
Day Shift - Snoop Dogg and Jamie Foxx hunting vamps in L.A. Sometimes dumb, sometimes funny, the fight/action scenes were decent. Good popcorn movie if you're not in the mood for anything too serious.
The Sandman - I'm only about halfway through but love it so far...

Trainwreck: Woodstock '99 - I remember wanting to go to this so, so badly back in the day, but I had just started a new job and couldn't swing it. Man, I'm glad I didn't go. I was old enough at the time that I was perfectly happy watching that dumpster fire on tv. I don't like big crowds and I'm always wondering, "Where is the bathroom?" It was clear that the organizers only cared about money. The spin they tried to put on things was infuriating.
It was so clear that the crowd was SO full of bros. I remember how it was back then. Ick. I was barely tempted to go to Lilith Faire (see: crowds and bathroom), so I definitely wasn't going to NOTWoodstock!
I'm glad they showed how douchey Fred Durst was and is. Of course, he wouldn't care that he was amping up the crowd to cause chaos and destruction
When I watch these kinds of documentaries, I always wonder WHO is letting their 14 year old daughter go to music festivals like this? I mean, I was allowed to go to concerts with a friend at 15, but it was drop off right before and pick up right after, a few hours later. I have to question the judgement of any parent who'd let their 14-year old daughter go to something like Woodstock....or Coachella or any number of festivals, without parental supervision. Do they not care or are they just stupid? I"m sure those "reported" rape/sexual assault numbers are nowhere near the real numbers.
I just started the new season of Never Have I Ever. I remember watching the first season and thinking, "John McEnroe? WTF?" but now I really like him as the narrator. I have to say though, the high school drama does not make me miss being that age!

I am a few episodes in on S4 of Virgin River. I feel like Charmaine has been pregnant since S1. So last night I finished S4. As I am finishing out the Season, Charmaine was having some issues, she called Jack he rushed over to her home. Mel was with him and Mel told Jack to call 911 .... did you all hear Jack tell the 911 operator she was FIVE MONTHS pregnant ....... whatttttt She has been pregnant all for 4 seasons .... so have all 4 seasons been a time span of only 5 months?

Me Time - a bromance/comedy with Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. Not the raucous comedy I was hoping for, but it had a couple laughs and a few thoughtful moments, surprisingly. 2.5 out of 5 stars. Bonus: Wahlberg's bare butt makes an appearance, if anyone is interested in that.
