Season 13 Episode 23 - "Let the Good Times Roll" - May 17, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_13)Not quite what I expected. I just I thought there would be this really epic battle. Well, it was and it wasn't. I was surprised how Lucifer turned on Jack so quickly. I mean the entire season we see Lucifer wanting his son, driven by finding him and yet in the end Lucifer was just using Jack as a battery, a power source. It amazes how quickly the Winchester Boys adopted Jack into the family. Luv'ed seeing Mary and Bobby have a moment hope that continues. Luv'ed it when Dean as Michael's Sword arrived with the wings out ... can you say wallpaper quick enough. Luv'ed Dean all cleaned up and classy and a blue twinkle in his eye.

I only recently started watching Supernatural and I love it! It reminds me a lot of Grimm, only instead of Nick and his friend on the police force hunting down legendary creatures, it's two brothers (Dean and Sam). I love getting into a long-running series late and having plenty of new episodes to look forward to. I watch tv while crocheting so this is a perfect series to keep running while I work on my latest project.

Season 14 Episode 1 - "Stranger in a Strange Land" - October 11, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)mmmm what is Michael up to? Luv Dean's new look. Like seeing the bunker filled with people and folks doing hunter business. Note to self even after saving the world you still have to come home and do the dishes and vacuum the carpet, (slide reference to the new hunters doing business).

Season 14 Episode 2 - "Gods and Monsters" - October 18, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Nick, Lucifer's former meat suit - is a mess. Michael has an alliance with the werewolves ... sounds like they both want to wipe out most of humanity and leave the rest as slaves and food. With all this why did Michael leave Dean's body? Jack is lost with out his powers.

Season 14 Episode 5 - "Nightmare Logic" - November 8, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Another back to basics episode with the boys hunting other monsters with a twist. Looks like Michael is enhancing all the monsters and targeting hunters. Nice to see Mary and Bobby working through their problems.

Season 14 Episode 6 - "Optimism" - November 15, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Another back to basics episode but this time Dean is working with Jack. Nice twist, then another at the end. Luv'ed, luv'ed the librarians apartment.

Season 14 Episode 8 - "Byzantium" - December 6, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)I have always liked that this series keeps track of it's mythos and brings back characters it has created and used in other episodes. It adds that extra layer to the world building and story telling. I liked Lily's back story and how she handled what happened. Liked the introduction of Anubis and that the while the boys appreciated her sacrifice they didn't know the outcome, we viewers did. Didn't particularly like the Castiel subplot. Never liked the Empty. Don't like the deal. It is just icky.

Season 14 Episode 9 - "The Spear" - December 13, 2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)After 14 seasons that was their plan to just walk in to Michael's office, into a trap, without really knowing how to spear fight and expect to win because they walk nicely in slo mo to inspirational music and have good hair? In one sense classic Supernatural, but oh so stupid. I really expected a bit of a twist there and was disappointed. It would have been so funny if they had just left and Michael had been left there waiting in his office.

Season 14 Episode 10 - "Nihilism" - January 17, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Dean is doing an excellent performance as Michael. You actually believe he is a different person. I also luv all the extra man grooming that has been done for the Michael character, the eyebrows groomed, the skin poreless. What ever fitness and nutrition and skin care routine Jensen Ackles is following the results are fabulous. I did think that the other world survivors staying in the Men of Letters bunker would be more battle savvy then was shown in this episode. I would also have thought that the bunker would have had some rather strong defenses both physical and magical against potential creature attack.

Season 14 Episode 11 - "Damaged Goods" - January 24, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)I do like to see Dean be nice to people it just freaks them out. Hopefully, this is the last we see of Nick. Will Donna try to get him for the murder of the storage security person, or any of the other folks he killed? I was surprised Dean didn't reconnect with Jody and the girls.

Season 14 Episode 12 - "Prophet and Loss" - January 31, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)The boys are working on their "last" case before Dean sails off to go deep sea diving with his "angel coffin". I don't think Castiel and/or Sam really convinced Dean to change his mind, he is just done disgusting it with them.

Season 14 Episode 13 - "Lebanon" - February 7, 2019 Episode 300 of the series. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Nice to see John Winchester again, to see them have a grown up dinner with each other. This series has always been excellent with serio - comic bits in this case seeing Sammy doing Ted Talks and looking like the former Apple guru, and Dean on a wanter poster. Interesting to note that life as a Hunter is extremely dangerous with Pawn Shop owners killing you for unique items. Nice bit with the local kids, with one stealing Baby, and later three of them learning about the bad things that go bump in the night.

Season 14 Episode 14 - "Ouroboros" - March 7, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)The opening is classic Supernatural with monsters making simple things like cooking dinner gruesome. Luv seeing Rowena again, her skin is so dewy and smooth. Sad to see all the new hunters in the bunker be killed I wish they wouldn't do that as it would was nice to think the boys could rebuild a Men of Letters/Hunter association. Nice bit with the gorgon and Jack and loss and sacrifice and nice to see a conclusion that was extremely quick and you think that was it?

Season 14 Episode 15 - "Peace of Mind" - March 14, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)A road trip for Dean and Jack and the snake to talk to Donatello about being soul less. A road trip for Cass and Sam more for Sam to deal with the deaths of all the hunters at the bunker by Michael. They run into a creation of a 1950's small town where everyone is "happy". Like the little bits about the Saturday Evening Post, Norman Rockwell, Mr. Rogers, and cardigans.

Season 14 Episode 16 - "Don't Go in the Woods" - March 21, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Getting a break from the main story line back to the monster of the week. It never made sense to me to curse a person for horrible things and that thing just keeps killing people. It was so sweet to see Jack attempt to bond with kids and it go horribly wrong.

Season 14 Episode 17 - "Game Night"- April 4, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Why oh why can't they kill Nick? They keep stopping and he escapes and kills more and more people yet they keep giving second chances they wouldn't for anyone else.

Season 14 Episode 18 - "Absence" - April 11, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)I do think that even with only 20 episodes this season dragged a bit as if they didn't know what the were really going. I am would rather have a really good shorter season then dragging it out. I do think it was a mistake to totally kill off all the hunters/refugees that came from the alternate earth. You had this beautiful opportunity of rebuilding a Men of Letters/Hunter organization but they didn't do it. You can still have the show about the Winchester Brothers but it was also an opportunity for them to have families and maybe teach new recruits at a training academy. I would have liked to see Mary settle with Bobby and maybe have a few more kids as technically she died at 29 and was only back for 3 yrs. It would have been fun for Dean and Sam to have a couple of half siblings. This season has made it easy for me to make the decision to stop watching the show. I will finish season 15 as it is the last and hopefully short.

Season 14 Episode 20 - "Moriah" - April 25, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_14)Wow, I think I have been waiting all season for this episode, the spark it back, this is what a Supernatural episode should be. Fun, witty, quirky, can't wait to see what happens next. Seriously the writing staff has been asleep all season. What is so hilarious is as much as we as a culture, nation, people, claim that speaking the truth is for the best what really happens when folks stop lying? The President for one goes on a two hour off track speech about his taxes and the devil's deal he has with someone named Crowley. Too funny.

Is anyone watching the final season of Supernatural? So far its been up and down. We see the usual mess of Hell exploding and then see the loss of some central characters, which I do not like at all!

Last night's episode was kind of downish--Becky and her family being snapped away, Dean's weird dream, that boy who let himself be killed because it was for the best....

Season 15 Episode 1 - "Back and to the Future" - October 10, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)It's been a while but I have started watching season 15. Well God opened the Gates of Hell and folks left. They meet a new demon inhabiting Jack's body. That entire thing is kinda fun. At one point when Dean and Demon Jack hear a scream they run toward it they do it in sync, same leg length, same stride pattern, almost as if they were close family. I do wish that suburbans moms could run faster then they portray on these shows. I feel bad for Castiel as his feelings always seem cast aside by Dean. The closing scene was nice, there was a quick flashback I guess to the last scene in Season 1 Episode 1.

Season 15 Episode 2 - "Raising Hell" - October 17, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Starting watching episode 2 it seems to drag a bit. Well it looks as if the first three episode will be a bit of a story arc concerning the release of all the souls in Hell. Yes, it is still dragging. Ketch and Rowena are flirting. Kevin Tran is back and because God cast him into Hell according to the rules Kevin can't go to Heaven and is doomed to be a ghost on Earth. Chuck/God is trying to hang with his sister Amara but that is not working out and some how Chuck and Sam are linked through their bullet wounds.

Season 15 Episode 3 - "The Rupture" - October 24, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)I can understand that in an open ended series like most TV shows most good "bad" characters seem to always escape death or getting hurt, so now the series is ending this is a good opportunity to have some creative deaths. I do feel this opening trilogy of episodes was supposed to set the tone for the season culminating in the deaths of Ketch and Rowena. I have to honesty say the story arc dragged along in agonizing slowness over what would normally be three weeks. This was not the writers best work. I was surprised and sad at Ketch's death, it seemed so unnecessary and pointless. While I get Rowena's last main speech to Sam about believing in prophecy I still did not want to see her go and yes I chocked up and shed a tear or two. Rowena was a bad ass witch. I liked the relationship between Casiel and Belphagor it was fun. Cas did the right thing but I HATE HATE what an douche Dean has become. Cas was put in an incredibly difficult decision and he made the right call. But Dean now blames Rowena's death on Cas and he does Mary's. Dean has been in the business long enough to know that no battle plan lasts pass the first encounter with the enemy. Cas has been a friend, an ally for many years but Dean throws it all away because his feelings are hurt. I felt bad that the other experienced Hunters were basically used as guards and it seemed a waste.
