I hate how they drag out the reunions. The last one is always the one that is worth seeing. May as well skip the others. Interesting to me that Mary is backing up Monica though. I appreciated how she called out the Mormon church for being racist.  |

Getting all caught up with the SLC Ladies. Life gets in the way, and I get so behind. So I had NO idea it was Jen that gave Heather the black eye. Interesting. I am reading that Jen denies it.  Mary is back .... she doesn't seem to want to be there in the few epis I have seen. The past Seasons I have watched Angie always seemed so calm cool and collected. In the few epis I have seen, she does seem happy at all. Appears Lisa and Meredith are slowlyyyy trying to mend. Lisa's meltdown (during the Drag epi) about ONLY WANTING GLAM ..... oh bother.  |

The amount of arguing she did (and LOUDLY) with ALL the ladies was off the charts.
Probably a very good idea she move on.

WHAT A NIGHT. And I am talking about R3.  I binged the 3 reunion shows last night .... and I agree with Jeff Lewis who stated on WWHL this set was awful. I was expecting something more in the lines of winter sports. I am still confused as to how Heather received the black eye .... she doesn't seem to know herself as they all had been partying. BUT did Jen push her into something OR did Jen actually haul off and punch her .... Jen asked Heather the next morning " if she did that" ..... hmmmm. I hope with all the drama that went down with Jen punching Heather and Heather not being honest about it, that she remains on SLC. Mary liked Monica, she will be the only one disappointed that Monica will not be back. I am glad that Lisa and Meredith have healed their relationship. Unbelievable that Monica was trolling and cyberbullying the ladies. Wow. "Reality Von Tease"  Monica stating that she was helping the FBI with the Jen case .... whattttttttttt? |

I'm glad somebody helped take Jen down. She hurt so many innocent and gullible elder folks. And all of these ladies were afraid of her! Good for Monica!

I'm team Monica too. I'm not a fan of some of the ways she went about it. But at least Monica's intentions were to get the "bad person" in jail. Heather and the rest can't even see that. All they see is that she was Reality Von Tease and lied about it...which is small compared to what Jen did and they all seem to be able to forgive her. I lost a lot of respect for Heather last night. The way she went for production and suggested a producer hit her?! Talk about a liability. Why were they all so scared of Jen that they protected her and lied for her?!? I'd like to know WHY Jen punched Heather. Because that was one BAD black eye. It wasn't a light hit, ya know? She had to have hit her HARD.
Heather was on WWHL last night and said this....it's not going over very well with social media, neither is the letting go of Monica.

Also wanted to point out that Tanesha, the lady that started the Reality Von Tease Instagram is STILL friends with Heather and does her hair. Soooo...why the double standard Heather?! I'm actually so bummed that Heather has turned into this, she was so likable and relatable in the beginning. |

The first episode of the new season of salt lake was so overblown—. I found it disappointing. Some of the “high fashion” costumes were pretty funny though. That huge heart coat was absolutely silly. Every time I saw it I wanted to laugh. Same for Mary’s coat — a white coat with “dolce and gabbana” scrawled all over it is high fashion? I guess I may not understand fashion but I thought it looked pretty bargain basement. Maybe in person it was better.
The scroll was another piece of artifice. it did its job by being very attention- grabbing. But to what end other than a bit of camera time for Monica. the conflict seemed pretty trivial and the shouting was for the most part, making a modicum of trivia seem earth-shattering. None of it was exactly the end of the world.
As for all the revealing down-to-the-navel dresses — not terribly flattering. Have they all had breast enhancements? For some reason Lisa’s seemed about to slide off. (Shiver).

Housewives shows in general are down in viewers. They are going to have to change them immensely or I can see them all getting canceled. There just isn't anything fresh. It's same thing over and over again. If you want to watch a show about crazy mormon ladies ...check out The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives instead  |

I am just now getting to watch the first episode. TOTALLY agree with you cavendish .... "overblown". TOTALLY agree with you JustJuls .... I really think viewership is completely down with all the RH's series. Mentioning the "Mormon Wives" .... my DIL said exactly what you did JustJuls .... "crazy Mormon ladies" and my DIL loves it. I want to see that .... I think DIL said it is on HULU. |

Don't you find it odd the way they've just shuffled Angie back into the pack as if last season's explosive denouement in the finale, exposing Angie as a backstabbing saboteur? With receipts! Oh, the scandal!
But maybe not so much! Because here she is, back in the middle of these bickering biddies, with no explanation and as if nothing ever happened. Weird.

So, I happened to go from here to coincidently land on an article about Angie Garcia, clueing me in on the fact the new Angie, with the Greek last name, is not the old Angie. Hence, the puzzlement I expressed in my post above was just my own confusion. I need to pay more attention?

Oh and the scene with Mary sitting down with Angie's daughter's to talk about the fight that had just happened  so good! Mary has been great this season. and by great, I mean for entertainment values. I'm so glad she's back. |

I haven’t watched since season 1, but when I saw the title of last week’s show, I had to check it out. Lisa’s husband is my friend’s nephew, so I wanted to see what he was like. Seems like a good enough guy. I feel sorry for the husbands who are caught in the middle of all of this silliness.
My main takeaway is to wonder how any of these women have any friends. LOL I realize that most of these events are staged, but who goes into someone’s special-occasion party and starts a screaming match (and won’t stop when asked to)? SMDH.
And that Fireside at what’s her name’s house was hilariously fake to me as someone who was raised Mormon. But I guess they get points for pretending to represent Mormon culture. (I’m not Mormon anymore, so I don’t have a horse in this race. I just didn’t think it felt very authentic.)
