So it came out that Jen rented the house she’s filmed in. It’s funny but I thought one of the other cast members was renting a house because it looked so impersonal. Previous to the show, Jen was living in Sandy UT and her home was in the $300K range.
When I saw the picture of Jen leaving court, I thought she looked like a blood engorged tick. Tiny head attached to a round body, which was just her fur jacket really.

I think it was quite a bit under $300,000, which is NOT an expensive house in Utah. I did see that she had responded to a post about her renting by saying that she owned three other houses and an apartment in NYC, which I guess is supposed to prove that she's rich, after all.

LOL, I just read this Tweet: "I want a 6-part Netflix docuseries on Jen Shah’s crimes and I want it now." YES!! She was such an arrogant, tantrum throwing, Showoff, I really disliked her. Can't get enough of the dirt! Just trying to stay amused during a Global Pandemic.

Don't they like, SCREEN these people/make sure they are on the up and up before hiring them for the show? While it's entirely possible she didn't want to fim in her actual house so she rented one it seems kinda suspect.

I think that people like Jen are exactly what they want for these shows. Very few Housewives through the years have truly been secure in their wealth. Most of them are presenting a lifestyle they aspire to. Most of the OC women rent their houses. When Atlanta started, the same was true - now most of them have made enough money from the show that they own. Potomac also has a lot of women who rent - and NY has had women who live in hotels! They show us what happens "behind the gates" and the truth is that behind the gates are a lot of women pretending to be something they are not because image matters so much to them. Jen is exactly that!

True acookertv. I also think that the people they are trying to emulate (either the real monied society crowd of NYC, the "Jack and Jill" set in Atlanta, or the newly monied Mormon "Influensters" that Allure magazine wrote about a few years ago) wouldn't be caught dead on shows like this so the producers of these types of shows get a lot of pretenders to the throne.

She is indeed. I just never saw JS as being very smart, so there's that..

I think Jen is the worst kind of not smart - she believes she is, and believes the people around her are not. That creates a kind of arrogance that is dangerous!

Jen is back to posting stories on her Instagram. She is singing in a car with another person acting like her life isn't imploding....smdh. Dumb.

The Feds don't file charges without substantial evidence. She's screwed. That's what you get for allowing ego to rule and to put yourself in the spotlight on a national television show for fame. Bye, Jen.

That was hilarious. I love Whitney.
It will be interesting to see the whole Jen Shah drama unfold.

I think Whitney was a little sloshed! She's the only one out of this crowd I like. Some I dislike intensely. A little too much religion for me.

There was a lot about those opening two minutes that made me uncomfortable. On the one hand, I give the show credit for making it clear they won't shy away from it. They've got a track record of not glossing over controversies to protect the talent and that's something. But it raised red flags for me that the arrest was going to take place in front of cameras had Jen not dashed off. How was that coordinated? If the state decided to do it that way to make her look worse, shame on them. If the production let it be known where she'd be, shame on them. That just seemed messy on all parts. It also certainly looked like one of the great controversies of the season is who tipped Jen off to what was happening ... and who tipped off the feds. That seems like a rehash of the on-going feud between Teresa Guidice and Carolyn Manzo. That of course, adds fuel to my theory that the RHSLC are just a bunch of avid housewives fans playing out a "Housewives in a box" party game.

LOL They didn't have that much religion last season, but Mary seems very suspicious to me. It takes all kinds though, and this show has it. Heather is still my favorite. Now , who tipped off the feds? Meredith? Coach..bet they go through everyone..

Mary's congregation, judging by the size of her "church', seems somewhat small for her to bilk them out of so many "donations" for her to buy all of the designer crap in her closets. Is that what her congregants tithe for? Mary's conspicuous consumption? I'm puzzled.

On WWHL last night, Heather said she believes that Jen is innocent. Lisa Barlow also says that. If innocent, I wonder how one would get wrapped up in something like this?!?

I thought Heather’s declaration was fishy. It seemed more like she was saying she wanted her to be innocent than that she truly thought she was. It almost seemed like she was saying if she didn’t know the law and avoided the details she could say she was innocent

So, anybody know what those icy, lacy, cave like structures were in last night's show? Is it like a winter attraction? As much as I hate even the very idea of snow (shudder!), I found that place fascinating.
