I tried the rice cauliflower bowl tonight and it was really good! It has marinated chickpeas, tahini and tofu. I added some steamed broccoli for some more veg. Definitely would buy it again When I wasa at Tj's this morning, there was a woman near me in the frozen food aisle who grabbed like 6 or 7 boxes of the same thing. I joked, "So, THAT'S the best thing here, right?" She laughed and said, they totally are. I told her I should probably get some too. They're the chicken soup dumplings, which she said were amazing. Haven't tried them yet, but I'll report back! I was at TJ's today and looked for them but didn't see any. Was wanting to try them.

I loooooooooove their laundry detergent. The lavender scent makes my whole laundry room smell great. Also gets our clothes super clean.

I'm going to need to find those chicken soup dumplings! There's a restaurant here that does French onion soup dumplings and they are incredible.

I've never seen them before, so maybe they're new In this TJ's, they were near the frozen appetizers, but that may not be helpful, since it seems like every store is (annoyingly) arranged differently.
The other thing that I got on my last trip that I really like is the turkey corn dogs. They taste good and, at only 150 calories a piece, they're not a total calorie bomb.

I looked in all the freezer sections they had but didn't see them so the next time I go I am going to ask if they carry them. I mainly went this time to get butter. I love their butter and it works so good in my buttercream frosting.

I think the only thing on that list that I've bought was the Fig and Olive crackers, and that was because someone here recommended them.

Yah, the fig and olive crackers are good. Otherwise, this list is pretty bland; I've seen others that are more accurate as far as what people are buying.
What I hate is when they discontinue things. They used to have dark chocolate covered potato chips in a bag and they were delicious! Unfortunately, they don't carry them any longer.

Flower lovers rejoice; Peony candles are now available! I called another TJs and got them to hold two for me to pick up tomorrow. They're farther than my usual TJs but that location got the candles in around Mothers Day and quickly sold out.

Found a new Middle Eastern food at TJ that is absolutely delicious called Kunefe that is kinda a sweet/savory dessert. It consists of a crispy exterior of kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) and a melty cheese interior. That all then gets drenched in a floral syrup and garnished with plenty of pistachios. Definitely something to try!

I'm going next month. Closest one is over 300 miles from here, so I only go when on vacation. I got a few good ideas from that list, so thanks. My personal favorites that I never leave without grabbing are: TJ's Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate. I buy multiple bottles. Friends & family even make sure to pick this up for me when they go. The little tins of Green Tea Mints. The Dried Mandarin Oranges. Some of the oddball pasta items: Black Bean, Quinoa, etc. Plus, I always try the wine samples they always seem to offer & have found a few really good ones. Unfortunately frozen or fresh items are out of the question because of travelling over 300 miles.

I went to TJ's last week and they were out of the Tarte D'Alsace, so I got the Tarte aux Champignons instead. Not as big a fan. It's a flatbread with mushrooms, Emmental and Parmesan, all of which are things I love, but it's almost too much. TOO much cream and cheese and too rich. I hope the TD'A was just out of stock and not gone. I'd be seriously bummed. It's my favorite thing at TJ's.
Tried the key lime tea cookies this time and they were good, but I don't think they're something I'd get again. I don't need any cookies in my house! I like lime, but the flavor was almost too strong. I think I would have liked lemon better. Less of a bitter aftertaste.
Aside from the frozen foods, I tend to buy mostly produce, meats and cheese. I also like their Greek yogurt and coconut creamer.

My bus swung by the local Trader Joe's today and the parking lot was stuffed. How do you all have elbow room when you shop?

Forgot to mention another "always buy": Pumpernickel Pretzels. I love pretzels anyhow, but the pumpernickel brings them to another level of deliciousness. Next time I go I'll definitely buy more than 1 bag.

Posting this here because the recipe came from Cooking With Trader Joe's and I got the ingredients there too.
I made this tonight and OMG. It was SO GOOD! AND really easy. If my food processor was bigger (mine is more for chopping ingredients and making pesto), it would have been even easier. I used less sugar than the recipe called for and I may try adding a banana next time. Definitely

Went shopping for smoothie ingredients tonight and picked up the Ube ice cream too. There is a new candle available as well; Mango/Tangerine! Weirdly, they smell like the Anthropologie store. I picked up two.

I went to Trader Joe's last weekend while on vacation. The problem is that I left my list of stuff I wanted at home. I forgot many of the things I wanted & even some of my always-buy's. I didn't forget my Cold Brewed Coffee Concentrate though. I got a featured item they were giving samples of: Gnocchi in Creamy Pink Primavera Pasta Sauce. It was quite good. I'll probably serve it with some kind of smoked sausage. Unfortunately I found out that the Pumpernickel Pretzels have been discontinued.

The Ube icecream is really good! Imagine a sweet potato or yam beaten into a nice texture, then turned into ice cream. I will have it again.

I don't really eat any nut butter (I just have peanut butter for marinades), but my mom loves almond butter. She was literally just complaining yesterday about the price of the almond butter she normally buys and isn't happy about paying it, but is a bit gun shy about trying a different brand. Does anyone know if TJ's has crunchy almond butter? She prefers crunchy to creamy. If their creamy almond butter won that taste test, I'd bet their crunchy almond butter would be pretty good too.
