The Little Things - I really enjoyed it. I'd read a bunch of reviews where people were griping about the ending, but I had no problem with it. Everything doesn't always have to be wrapped up with a neat little bow.
And wow, Jared Leto can play a creep well.

Watched The Vow, a documentary about the NXIVM cult. Pretty unreal how all these intelligent people fell for this guy...I try not to wish bad things on people, but if something were to happen to Keith Raniere in prison, I wouldn't be sad about it.

Why, after 4+ years on this "new FORT website", can't I find my way around? I went to Search to find HBO/max to only find a small forum that was intermingled with HGTV posts?
Anyhoo, I watched The Bridge on HBO/max and highly recommend it. It is a British version of something sorta like Survivor. It is a six hour adventure for 12+ people to build a log bridge to an island 850 feet away in 20 days for a chance to win $100,000 pounds. Really good! Great ending!

I know it came out a few years ago, but I just discovered the Banshee series and I can't stop watching it. So good.

I know it came out a few years ago, but I just discovered the Banshee series and I can't stop watching it. So good. Banshee is literally one of my top 5 favorite shows! I've watched it SO many times! Job is my spirit animal. I love him so much. There are so many great scenes with him, although one of my favorites is in episode 7 of the final season. No spoilers, in case you're not finished!
That show is SO violent, but I still love it. I wish it had gotten more attention from fans and from critics. IMO, it was so underappreciated. AMAZING cast too. The little video they did about the end of the show with them all talking about the series and each other always has me crying. It's clear they all really love each other and the show. I was so bummed when Comcast took away my Cinemax and I couldn't binge it whenever i wanted. Then it was on Prime Video for a while and then gone. I'm so glad it's on HBO Max! Is it weird that I have a crush on Kurt Bunker? At least it's not Calvin Bunker!
I'm finally finishing the last ten episodes of Vikings on Prime Video. It's never been the same since they killed off Ragnar and then Lagertha, but these last episodes have been pretty good. I'm not really rooting for anyone, except maybe Ubbe and Torvi.

I'm totally hooked on the Great Pottery Throw Down! If you liked Blown Away on Netflix, definitely check this one out. I'm not a potter, but it's giving me inspiration for my own work. I watched Godzilla vs. Kong the other night and it was better than the last Godzilla movie (I guess this latest one is the sequel). Alexander Skarsgard Not enough Kyle Chandler. Too much Millie Bobby Brown. LOTS of special effects. That's about all I can say. Oh, I can also say I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in a theater!

Great Pottery Throwdown is excellent! Perfect combination of story telling and teaching the viewer about pottery! I really enjoyed it! I felt like I learned so much that I didn't know. I was really happy to find that they are doing a fifth season, although NOT happy that it won't air until next year!
I love that Keith Brymer Jones gets so emotional over really good work. It got to the point that *I* started to get emotional over really good pots! I'm totally going to try that naked raku technique with my enameled copper jewelry, btw. I bought a bag of little feathers the other day. I hope it works!
It's so amazing to me that on so many of these competition shows, contestants ignore the rules of the challenge/brief and then are surprised when they get sent home!
waywyrd mentioned Banshee the other day and now I'm rewatching the series AGAIN. I think that some people might write it off as overly violent and sexual, but GOD that show has such heart and such a great cast.

waywyrd , I noticed that HBO Mac doesn't include the series extras, so this little farewell video for Banshee wasn't included. It's just too good to miss and it totally makes me cry every time I watch it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_asKScFuQ5U
I finally watched the BeeGees documentary the other night and bawled my way through the last 20 minutes. When Barry talked about his brothers and saying that he'd give up all the hits to have them back, I just lost it. Having lost my brother, I totally got it.
I remember those "Death to Disco" rallies and the record burning. It really sucks that the BeeGees got pulled into that. They were so much more than disco, as evidenced by the length of their career and how many songs by other artists are a part of popular culture.
It definitely made me want to watch Saturday Night Fever again! It's currently on Showtime, so I may have to watch it. We had the soundtrack on 8-track when I was a kid

I really enjoyed Love Life with Anna Kendrick and was happy to hear that the second season is going to star William Jackson Harper.

I'm loving Mare of Easttown, too. Kate Winslet is oh so good in this. Just a little nitpick, but I'm finding it hard to believe that Guy Pearce is so enamored of her as she's downright awful- looking here, even when she's supposed to be dressed up a bit. I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to makeup but she had me chuckling with that sad collection of makeup.

Lol! She looks quite dowdy on this show.
Next week's episode preview looks crazy.

There's this incredibly sweet show called The Dog House on HBOMax now that features an dog rescue organization in the U.K. and the people who are looking for a new pet. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This show really shows how often the dog picks its people as much as they get picked because there were definitely situations where the pupper was NOT feeling the people they were matched with, lol. In the first episode there's this family who wanted to adopt a dog but their oldest was frightened of them? They got matched with a cute terrier who was shy a first but warmed up to them but the girl was too frightened to hardly touch it. They finally decided that it wouldn't be fair to either their daughter or the dog. I'm glad the agency convinced them it wasn't a good idea because who does that?

I don't want it to end but I can't wait for the finale this Sunday! I need to see the picture that freaked the chief out...I don't think the person who confessed is the one who actually killed Erin.

I guessed wrong - but the person I originally thought killed Erin could still be blamed for it, I think. Excellent show...we need more like this on TV!

It blew other shows out of the water and I'm so sad it was just a mini series. Kate is getting that Emmy next year, unless Gillian Anderson beat's her to it.

I'm going to watch Mare of Easttown now that it's over because HBOMax has issues with streaming first-run series and it's very annoying. They really need to do something about their infrastructure.

I finally finished all four seasons of Banshee - had to take a breath after the end of season three - and while I wish they had another season or two, it did end pretty well. What Job did to that one guy at the end was absolutely perfect. I'll miss these characters, it was a great series. Now we're on to watching Deadwood, another one I missed out on watching when it was on originally. Love it so far, the cast and writing are both terrific...it does have lots of cussing, one 10 letter word in particular that is used so much I find it funny.
