Well, apparently Dez is back at camp. He is telling them that he needs to learn how to control his emotions and apologizes, but is still out.
That was crazy. He was scary!
On to the Traitors Canada!

Season 2 Episode 2 · Exposure - Oct 2, 2023
Blac Chyna - You are are 35 yrs old and your knees don't work. I don't think you would have been OK'ed for this show if your knees didn't work. The producers do not want to be sued for wrongful death.
Blac Chyna had been very mouthy during her entanglement with the Kardashians, especially seeing her attitude here.
BTW - BC complains that she gets no child support from either of her baby daddies and had to give up 3 of her cars. Tyga has his son Monday thru Saturday plus pays 40K for school tuition. Rob Kardashian has his daughter Tuesday thru Saturday plus pays 37K for school tuition, all medical expenses, all extracurricular expenses. For a former stripper who saw opportunity when it presented itself she took it and comes across as a clout chaser. (The term clout chaser is most often applied to people viewed as attempting to increase their own fame or influence by trying to associate—or engage in conflicts—with those more popular or famous than themselves.) I don't know if I really expected anything else from BC.
Savannah - I was surprised she panicked during the rappel as she had done so well in the ice challenge.
Dez - what set him off? What gets me is that he never apologized to the Drill Sargents. Is apologizing considered a sign weakness? Do men really think it diminishes them?
Tara - I really don't want to make fun of her as she comes across very broken. But this was a shining opportunity to try. It was really sad to see her so physically unable to do anything. Hate to say it but her fellow inmates were not very respectful toward her.
OTOH - If you are weak but try people can see that and will help.
OTOH - I had a co-worker who would go round from person to person at the office and basically tell a sad story of what is happening to them. Everyone gave this person advice. At first you felt as if you were being nice. However, this person would never try anything to make their life better, but would continue to tell sad stories about their life. Some time passed and people started being nasty to this person to keep them away from them because he simply didn't try, he whined. I don't think Tara was getting much sympathy from the cast. I do think Tara has hit rock bottom. She needs to get her act together and do something. To be honest if I didn't know she was 47, I would think she was 67 from the way she carries herself.
Jack Osbourne - is getting mouthy and cocky. I heard him tell the DS that the ice plunge was not so bad. There is something there.

Ahh...Blac Chyna the bestest mom in the world... www.tmz.com/2023/10/02/blac-chyna-broke-poor-selling-clothes-shoes-tyga/?adid=931765_tmz_nsl_d_s3Sounds like the same kind of garbage she did Rob Kardashian. Damn, I wish I could sell my clothes, purses, and shoes and get $178,000 for them.
Maybe she should sell her mansion and get a smaller place and live with in her means. Deliberately getting pregnant by rich dudes and have them finance your lifestyle is not a good career option.
In addition, if you have a business you really need to run that business. Bet her managers and employees are robbing her blind.

Season 2 Episode 3 - "Panic" - October 9, 2023 At the start of the episode Brian Austin Green - actor quits and then Robert Horry - former NBA player quits before the first task. There were 11 recruits now there are 9. The first task is driving in a two car convoy with a principle in the second car. The convoy comes under attack. What do you do? The recruits are briefed at the beginning of the task that the principle is the most important part of the mission. Protect the principle at all costs. To be honest if you have never been in that type of situation it is easy to panic and drive off, which a lot of recruits did. I personally would have driven back to get the principle but actually it is better to jump out of the car and run back to the second car. I was very surprised at that and would need to understand why. Savannah started so strong and is not doing well. She is picked for interrogation. I do like how she states her parents were alleged to have done financial misdeeds. Girl own it. They were found guilty of tax fraud. I sincerely doubt they will serve their entire sentences. www.etonline.com/todd-and-julie-chrisley-set-to-be-released-from-prison-early-see-when-theyre-getting-out-211038So this is Savannah's way of getting people to watch her new reality TV show. Grow a pair.
The second task is the falling backwards off a ship into a cold lake. Savannah quits. States she is mentally checked out. There are 8 recruits left. With this rate of attrition will there be any recruits left by episode 10?
My biggest pet peeve this episode was Jack Osborne's really cocky attitude. Claiming he likes to do activities to push himself. That he has taken tactical driving courses. He smirks a lot in his conversations. He looks down on the others who have quit because they are mentally weak and laughs at them or editing made it to look that way. Jack states he doesn't like it when other people tell him what to do. He fails both tasks and has a temper tantrum about the backward dive. I am really starting to dislike him.

Wow! They’re dropping like flies! So many went home tonight!
Jack Osborne’s an interesting set of contradictions. I had forgotten that he has MS. I can’t imagine trying to do this with the physical challenges that come with that—even if it’s fairly under control at the moment. His conversation with staff was quite touching.
I won’t be surprised if at sone point, he has to do a medical elimination. I just hope doing this doesn’t make his condition worsen in a way he can’t recover from. In the meantime, props to him for trying.
I do hope he adjusts his attitude soon, though.

While I applaud Jack to doing this with his condition, it is the attitude that is annoying. I can tell he will fail a task when he boasts how he is familiar with this kind of work or he has gotten training in this previously and he feels confident. The fact that they are editing him boasting, being condescending of others when they fail (despite him failing also) and laughing at them ...even if he didn't (since we know their editing tricks)...I suspect he majorly p*ssed off tptb and may have been a diva on set. I agree MissGriss about the probable medical elimination sometime in the future. Probably near future since they threw him under the bus this whole episode. Getting all the drama out of him for whatever time he has left on the show. I suspect it will be an easy way to save face. I wish they would show a more rounded view of everyone. They seem to be concentrating on those that will be leaving sooner rather than later and we barely see some people. Erin, Nick, Tyler, Kelly, Tom and even JoJo have gotten very little airtime. I am grateful that Savannah is gone. If I had to hear one more time that her parents are in federal prison ...nothing alleged about it.

I agree that he’s been really irritating. I’m just hoping that he’ll get a clue and find sone redemption. So glad other posters are picking up on that. It's the nasty laughing at others which really irks me as it borders on bullying. Forgot to mention the disdain and contempt when others don't succeed especially in a task he passed.

Fourth episode. Let's see who will remain.
Rangers discussing who is left:
As they talk about who will be there at the end...we get a shot of Tyler. Are they trying to tell us something?
Bodi and Erin are world champions so should be physically ahead of the rest. Tom is hard to like and Jack is an a**. Kelli looks like her body is breaking down. No mention of JoJo, Nick or Tyler. Could these be our finalists?
First task is to carry a 220 lb inflatable boat to the lake. It is a race between 2 teams.
Bodi leads one with JoJo, Jack and Nick. Erin leads the other with Kelli, Tom and Tyler.
Bodi is instructing his team well and they are way ahead. Erin isn't giving any instructions and Kelli is not pulling her weight right from the start. She lets go of the boat. Erin says she can be a leader, but is fine taking a back seat. This as Tyler starts giving direction and the ranger tells her that Tyler is doing her job!
Bodi's team is ahead and get to their first hurdle...they have to lift the boat over what looks like a barbed wire fence. Jack tried doing one of those drill songs and JoJo tells him to save his lungs. He hurts a finger getting the boat over and here comes the boasting. He has friends in the SS...blah, blah, blah. Someone tells him to suck it up.
Erin's team is still trying to figure out the best way of carrying the boat. They are rotating to different positions. Kelli is dropping the boat every few steps saying she can't...her back is going out on her. They get to the fence and she falls. They start up again, meanwhile the other team goes over another fence and are at the edge of the lake.
The rangers direct Erin's team to a stream that will get them to the lake and now they are trudging through the water. The rest of the team is pulling/pushing the boat and she is walking beside. She says she has quit things in the past and hates that feeling. Looks like she is having it now. She tells them she is slowing them down, but they tell her to walk with them. She is crying and one of the ranger is telling her her dead husband is watching her right now as she is saying she can't feel her legs.

Tyler is trying to help Kelly. Tom falls and they finally get to the lake. Now they have to put some stuff in the boats and race across. Kelly is panicking and hyperventilating because she is so cold. Tyler gets her and holds her against him...as women watching are swooning...and encourages her saying the hardest part is done. Tom on the other hand tells her to get moving that she is letting the team down. He isn't wrong, but not the best approach with her. She has had enough. Finally Erin is trying to encourage her...too late. She is out. Not a surprise. When they spend that much time on someone they are gone soon after.
Bodi's team takes the lead since they have an extra person. Now they have to unload and store the equipment before racing to the finish. Erin is still not leading so Tyler starts giving direction and he is doing most of the work. The rangers are encouraging him and calling him a "damn workhorse!". He says he was an athlete in school and his dad always pushed him to do more than he thought he could. This is the most we have seen or heard from him and it is all positive.
Alpha wins and they are out of there back to camp by car. The others finally get to the top and Tyler does his projectile vomiting. Since they lost they get to run back to the camp. First team is pumped and congratulating themselves...especially Jack, who whined the most. When the second team is back they admit they weren't organized. Erin who knows it was because of her.

Rangers are having a discussion and making fun of Jack and his hurting his "cricket" finger. They are seriously laughing. Then they discuss how badly Erin sucked as a leader and bring her in for interrogation.
They are impressed by the fact that she went from roller blading to winning a medal at the Olympics in only 5 years. He dad spent 20 years in the army and her mom died when she was in high school and she wasn't there when she finally passed after a long illness. She was overseas at a competition. I think she is used to holding things in and not making waves. They are encouraging her saying she does have the strength, but needs to step up more. She really misses her mom.
When Erin gets back she is chatting with Tyler and opening up. She says she always got along with her dad, but it was more difficult with her mom. He says his mom was tough too and would give them a kick in the butt when they needed it. He says that was their way of showing love. He talks about how his mom passed away and how much he depended on her opinions. He feels lost sometimes now because he can't discuss things with her anymore.
Wow...we are getting a lot more of Tyler this episode. Hard working, encouraging, helpful and supportive. Reminds me very much of Hannah's edit last season.

After that nice moment between Erin and Tyler, we come back to Tom whining about how people were hateful to him on SM because of his affair. Erin has no clue as to who this guy or his ex are. (I don't either.) Apparently people used to think he was cool because he was on Vanderpump Rules, but now they hate him. He wants to punish himself because he deserves it. I think he is an idiot. You can see the other reality show people...JoJo, Nick and Tyler...just kind of going WTH?
They are called up to the next task out at some quarry. They have to do hand to hand combat...till the death or in this case, until time is called. They need to show strength, but also control.
Jack of course has a question. Can he go relieve himself? Will he poop himself? Maybe. They tell him they have all done it...it will add reality to it. I am dying. They really hate him.
Tyler vs. Bodi. They make a point of mentioning that Bodi is the oldest person there and is 15 years older than Tyler, but Tyler says he has been in fights and people underestimate him. Tyler wins, but it was a good fight. As soon as they said stop, he did. They are good, respectful.
Erin vs JoJo. Erin has never been in a fight. She is laughing nervously. JoJo is 5 inches taller and says she trains boxing at home, but never wants to use it. Erin lands some good punches, but eventually is overpowered. Another good fight. JoJo comes back for the win. They are good.
Tom vs. Nick. Tom used to wrestle in school. Nick hopes his competitive nature will kick in. Staff looks at Nick and tells him to kill him (Tom). They haven't said this for anyone else and Tom gives him a look. Another one they really don't like! They are really going at it and it's pretty even. Staff calls stop and Tom doesn't and throws a couple more punches. Oh, that is not going to go over well. He still wins, but has shown he has no self control. You think? He couldn't keep it in his pants so we already knew that.
And here comes Jack. They made him wait till last so he would really need to go to the bathroom, but first he has to tell us that he knows how to fight and that he competes in Jiu Jitsu tournaments. Naturally. Of course, he knows because he is the only one left they will make him fight one of the staff. He is so ridiculous. Instead, they think since Tom is still fired up, they will make him fight know it all Jack. Oh, this should be good. Both of them have said they wear down their opponents. Jack gives Tom a bloody nose and they make them stop. Jack finally wins something, but Tom was exhausted.
When they get back Jack asks Tom how he is doing. Bodi tells him he gets the most blood award and that it is all over his face. The look he gives before going outside! He is crying in the prvy and Bodi comes and encourages him a bit before staff call him in for interrogation.
They are worried about his state of mind. His eyes looks seriously crazed. They tell him that was bad earlier and Tom says he thought about quitting. No pity for him. They say he is only giving them 50% and they don't want to hear his pity party. This is so stupid. He is talking about his publicist and selling merchandise and the staff are practically rolling their eyes. They tell him to stop playing the victim because it makes him look pathetic. "You are not a victim. You created this." They tell him to own what he did. He can't blame others. Take responsibility and make this your new start. They think in reality tv it is all about drawing attention to yourself...even if it is negative. Yup.
Tom comes back and is OTT...this has been so theraputic. Meanwhile, in ITM he thinks his his temper could be his biggest strength and keep him in this or his biggest downfall. I'm going for the latter.
Next week...helicopters and that thing from the commercial where they cross a rope stretched between two cliffs on their stomach. Can't wait to see who cracks first...Tom or Jack.

Season 2 Episode 4 - "Character" - October 16, 2023
I don't watch Vanderpump Rules but it has been airing since 2013 and Tom Sandoval is an original cast member. So he has been a reality TV star for 10 years and he doesn't know how the business works? Of those 10 years he has been in a relationship with Ariana for 9 yrs. I wonder if the relationship was real of for ratings. After all Tom is 41, Ariana is 38, was this relationship going anywhere? Do either want children, a family, a marriage. If not it's done. If Ariana was waiting for a ring she just wasted her what is left of her fertility years. I don't get why Tom is so upset about the affair? He comes across more upset about how the fans treated him and say nasty things about his as a result of the affair. He never really mentions ruining or hurting Ariana? Just saying.
Erin - Olympic Speedskater - given a leadership task and totally fails. What happened?
Yelling is not necessary a bad leadership style, they are yelling because it is outdoors and they want a group of people to hear what you are saying. Erin did absolutely nothing. It might have helped if there was a male and female on each side of the boat instead of two males on one side and two females on the other.
Kelly, it was only 550 meters to carry the boat, try. I don't know how that messes up your back it is grip strength and shoulder. I do think when you have taller men and shorter women on a team like that the leader (Erin) or team needs to take into consideration step length. If they worked on their pacing I think they would have done better.
I though Kelly would do better. It does not look good with all these females dropping like flies. I really don't care about Blac Chynna she was on for a paycheck and to push PR for her potential custody fight with Tyga. Tara Reid and Kelly seem totally miscast to appear on this show.
Alpha Team with 3 guys + JoJo were just physically in better condition.
Luv it that the DS Team can't stand Jack Osbourne, he who says he has SAS friends.

And they're back!!!
We finally get some Nick. Almost more than we have had all season.
First challenge and they are dropped on a mountain to cross between the two sides. In the middle they have to drop and untangle the rope and then get themselves back on to the rope and finish.
Bode is up first and does ok the first part, but then has issues getting back up to finish. He is bloodied and bruised, but passed.
Jack of course brings up his previous training and talks about listening to the instructor...and then promptly fails.
JoJo, Erin, Tyler all fail.
Tom looked like he wouldn't get back up, but did it.
Nick is last and he fails too.

Helicopter extracts them and they are dropped off away from the camp. The ones who failed have to carry the packs of the 2 who passed and Nick and Tyler have to carry each of the guys as they are supposed to be injured. Tyler does it, but Nick is having issues and has to put Tom down. JoJo is a rock star and she carries Tom the rest of the way. He is a whole head taller than her and probably out weighs her by at least 50+ pounds!
They get back and Nick is struggling. The cold has got to him and they are trying to warm him up. He is out of it. I wonder if they will medically discharge him? That would explain the sudden interest in showing him.

Nick is back, but still not feeling great.
The staff are discussing the cast. They think Bode is an SOB and looks down on them. They think Nick is the weakest...or he thinks he is the weakest. They want to talk to him. Why is he here? He wants to be here for those who need him...fiancee and baby. They kind of laugh when he tells them that he is a podcast host of a show about relationships. They tell him he has potential to be there at the end, but he is going backwards and not forwards. Tough love.
Back at the camp Jack wants to know what they talked about, but Nick is coughing.
Ladies are chopping wood while staff are not impressed by the group...think they are mediocre. They are plotting to surprise them and they have to an obstacle course...first dipping in water and running the course. Nick and Jack are having problems. Particularly Nick. Bode's hands are bleeding and they are riding him. He is constantly talking back and having attitude.
They ask if anyone wants to give up. Everyone says no. Back in the house, Bode is still whining and unsurprisingly they call him in for interrogation. They want mavericks, but they still have to be disciplined. They do not like Bode. They were laughing when they were pushing him.
He tells them that the only time he doesn't like authority is when he thinks it isn't fair. They tell him stuff in their life isn't fair. He starts crying and talking about his kids and his child who drowned. They tell him he is more than capable, but his attitude needs to improve.
Tom's back is hurting. Jack's heart is racing. Nick is quietly crying.
Next week is escaping from the submerged helicopter and Jack is being checked out by medical for his racing heart.

Season 2 Episode 5 - "Pressure" - November 06, 2023
Maybe it is the cast or they way they film it but these folks are very unlikable. It is very hard to care about them, in fact after watching them it is very easy to have a distaste for these folks.
I do appreciate Jojo for carrying Tom. That was impressive. But for someone who has been in show business from a young age there is no way she is as naive or "protected" as she claims.
I notice that the Drill Staff said Nick looked dead in his eyes, well that kind goes for most of them. Bode is not a nice person.

Bearcata I agree about Bode. He is full of himself...kind of like Jack, but unlike Jack, he can back up his mouth with his actions. One of the things the staff said tonight is that some people are just waiting for an excuse to drop out. Nick, Jack and Bode were all shown. Jack and Bode have been bitching about being ordered around, while Nick just seems exhausted. Tom might also be a possibility because he was shown complaining about his back. We really haven't seen much from Erin. She is in the background and doesn't seem to complain too much. She does ok. Nothing outstanding that I remember, although she was shown sucking at leading the group last episode. So far, JoJo has been shown in a positive light. She is the youngest, but has been shown in a mature light. She tries, doesn't complain and gets on with it. I was seriously impressed with her carrying Tom tonight. Same with Tyler. We really don't see/hear much of him. He doesn't complain and tries to do what is necessary. He and JoJo have had the best edit thus far. They have said several times that he is a beast and have mentioned his leadership skills, particularly when he stepped up for Erin when she zoned out the previous episode. One thing that I have noticed several times now with regard to the edit, which I may be overthinking, is how they are editing Tyler. When they do voice overs about who is the strongest, who wants to be here, who will be here at the end...they cut to him. I noticed it a few episodes ago and I have been on the look out for it ever since. It is how they edited Hannah last season. She was mainly MIA the first few episodes, but was shown being supportive to everyone and they seem to be doing the same with him this season. I am curious to see how it goes.

Having been in show business from a young age, I'm sure she's been exposed to a lot of situations that weren't so "protected" when it comes to social situations. But I believe her when she says that she hasn't been exposed to doing dangerous things. If she was her family's bread and butter, they weren't going to let her do anything that might put her out of commission, so I can see how she's learning what her limits are when it comes to fear. I, too, was impressed when she stepped in to carry Tom. Bad ass!

Latest episode starts with 7 recruits and Jack's heart rate is at 104. He is off to the see the doctor and because he has MS they keep him under observation.
Rest of the recruits are off for another challenge. They have to escape a helicopter which is under water in freezing water. They have to wait underwater until given a signal, unbuckle and get a life jacket before surfacing. Tyler is encouraging and reassuring Erin.
Erin is first. She says drowning is a big fear. She is panicking and fails to finish. Fail. Tom doesn't like water. Staff tell him to not get this wrong. He passes. Bode's daughter drowned so that is tough, but he passes. Nick...staff say he is panicking before he even gets in the water, but he makes it. Tyler wants to show he is more than a sex symbol. Pass. JoJo is last. I missed her result as I am at work and will have to re-watch when I get back home. Based on the fact they pulled her in for a talk, I'm thinking she failed.
The doctors discharged him since his heart rate wasn't going down.
JoJo is called in for questioning. They think she hides behind her smile. She says she is very hard on herself and it was difficult growing up in front of everyone. They tell her she has to tap into the aggressive part of herself or she won't make it. She is in tears when she goes back. Erin and Tyler follow her when she goes out. She asks them to tell her not to quit.

In the latrine...Tyler is reassuring JoJo.
Next up...they have to open a gate and fight whatever is waiting on the other side. Then have to turn it off when signaled.
Tom is first. Ultra aggression, but no head shots. I think he has no problem with that. They tell him he didn't have enough aggression...like he was making love to the guy. JoJo is next. She seems to have done ok. Nick gets a good effort. Bode seemed ok as was Erin.
Tyler brings his inner beast and does a head shot. He did stop when told. Either him or me. They bring him in for a chat. He says he kind of got caught up in the fame and he didn't realize what was happening at first. Then his mom died. He is coming to terms with losing her. They are positive with him and tell him he has the leadership ability and they liked seeing him bring out the aggression. They also worry that he is holding a lot in and only he can work on himself.
Next they have to write their letters to family if anything happens to them and write to each other. Being in special forces isn't about being the toughest or the fastest, but about mental fortitude. Everyone is crying.
Next week is crawling over snow and coming under fire.

Season 2 Episode 6 - Survival - November 13, 2023 Don't really care that Jack Osbourne is gone. I found him off putting, almost arrogant, I've done it, I am superior to you attitude. Jojo states that "Jack was crushing it". Don't care. Didn't really see that. Helicopter crash in water is a tough test. That 5 of 6 passed is amazing.
The red man test - kill or be killed - seemed lame, maybe it was the angle it was filmed or that since so many recruits have left they needed filler.
The death letters. Some were really long, and it looks as if much was edited out. They did it in the last 5 minutes of the episode and I still don't like or care about any of these folks. Thankfully only 2 more episodes to go.

Bearcata...I also noticed how long some of those letters were and how much must have been left out. Despite that, I got what all of them were trying to say...other than Tyler. What they aired of his was super short. "Austin I'm proud of you. Mom is proud of you. Love Tyler". That was just odd. I wonder if there was some more personal stuff in there that they had to cut out? I wish they had devoted more time to those. It gives us a better insight of the people there.

Jojo had at least 4 pages and the one side was totally covered with handwriting. The others also had longer letters and we heard about a paragraph.
