I thought it was interesting that the people who were spending time with Jack seemed to like him much more than we do. Makes me think maybe there are more positive aspects to him than we see. I do wonder, though, if seeing his ITMs will change how they feel.

I do wonder, though, if seeing his ITMs will change how they feel. I always take things with a grain of salt because they edit things according to the story they want to tell. Even with that, I still think he was full of himself.

We are getting close to the end. It's day seven and there are only 6 left...JoJo, Erin, Tom, Body, Nick and Tyler. They say they have only 48 hours left.
They are going to be pulling 135 lb. sleds for two miles over really hard terrain. Tyler/Erin, Tom/Nick, Body/JoJo.
Body/JoJo are doing well, but he is not a good partner. He doesn't listen much and wants to do everything on his own. Second.
Tom/Nick are having trouble from the start. Tom is not exactly helping much. He looks like he wants to puke. They come last.
Erin/Tyler are working really well together. Taking turns pulling and finish first.
Then they all have to run to a spot, do planking and then crawl. They want to see who will crack first. Body is complaining about his groin and as usual is not exactly following direction. He is walking instead of crawling. They ask him what he wants to do...give up or continue. He takes off the arm band and is done.

Time for evaluation of the remaining recruits. Their top pick is Tyler...solid, strong, good character and has been stepping up; next Erin; JoJo; Nick and Tom is the weakest.
Now the staff comes and tries to teach them about survival when they are behind enemy lines. They need a cover story and have to remember it. Then they pull them individually while hooded to watch videos from home. They want to see how they respond to influence from family.
Tyler's dad tells him to make mamma proud. Nick's fiancee tells him she loves him. Erin's team mate tells her to remember why she is doing this. JoJo's parents tell her to be brave. Tom's mom tells him she loves him and is encouraging. He is crying.
Next...get ready to roll. They are driven to a forest and have to navigate their way using a compass and a map. They are fired upon as they are being driven. They are pulled out. They are split into teams. Tyler/Nick and JoJo/Tom/Erin and they are hunted by dogs. JoJo seems to be leading her group. Tom is not listening at all.

Tom is going ahead and not responding when they tell him to slow down. JoJo tells him off. She is leading. Erin is just following and Tom is being a pain.
Nick and Tyler are doing well and reach the point where they get further instruction. They are working well together although Tyler is leading. The other team also gets their directions, but the hunters are really close and they need to go, naturally Tom is not listening and is stopping to eat and drink.
They have to cross a road that is being patrolled. Tyler/Nick are captured. Tyler says he is always close, but never quite makes it. He really wants to succeed here. The other team makes it to the extraction point, but are also captured.
The next 24 hours they will know who will make it.
They are interrogated and tortured...sort of. Water is thrown on them. Looks good. Can't wait to see how it will go.

Season 2 Episode 7 - "Grit" - November 20, 2023
Is Tom an idiot or are they editing him that way?
I mean really? If Erin and Jojo were by themselves they would have make it to extraction and been long gone.

Tom needs to realize that the girls can't move as fast as he can. He also really needed to check back to see if they were following him. He really didn't have a plan. I would say Tom is pretty clueless.

In regards to Brode, if he had been a team player and let Jojo take a turn sooner he would not have strained his groin even more. If they really were in the field his stupidity would mean that someone would have to carry him out.

Season 2 Episode 8 - "Capture" - November 27, 2023 Season Finale on tonight. There are 5 participants left this season vs the 3 from season 1. I wonder who will survive the interrogation and pass the course? Guaranteed Tom Sandoval will crack and cry, that man is on the edge of a total meltdown.
I kinda wish Jack Osbourne was here for the interrogation, as I wonder how he would do or if he would just "piss off " the interrogators.

And there goes whiney Tom. Medical pull. They are not sure if he faking it to save face.
Is JoJo cracking? Yup. She just quit. Just like that.
Just three left...Tyler, Erin, Nick. Time to see if the interrogators can crack their cover story.
They throw water on Nick...sand on Tyler...and it looked like Erin threw the water? Naturally, they then threaten her with a water torture and she cracks. She wants to talk to the boss. Now they are going to use her to test the other two. They give her food, to make it seem as if she co-operated. Tyler and Nick watch her eating and get asked questions and have water dumped on them.

Finally, the guys are supposed to recognize that they are in danger and must admit they are training. Finally they do...while Erin is still eating.
They like Tyler, but think he doesn't like authority and can be arrogant.
They like Erin, but don't know if she has done enough in challenges. For me she has shown no leadership skills...and she cracked during interrogation.
They feel as if they may have underestimated Nick, but again not sure if he has done enough.
Apparently they all passed interrogation...although I don't understand how Erin did since she wanted to quit. Oh, apparently how she handled it...I still don't get it. What did she do...she ate.
They all passed selection. Well that was a bit anti climatic.
Apparently being on the Bachelor is good preparation for this show. Hannah, Tyler and Nick all winners.

From what the staff said in their narration when Erin decided to blow her cover, there comes a point at which your life is in danger and letting go of the cover story and admitting who you are is in your own best interest and that of those you are with.
They seemed impressed with Erin for doing it at the exact right time and in the right way by asking to talk to their boss. They seemed to think that Nick and Tyler waited too long. And they really didn’t like that Tyler was trying to hold out after Nick said, ”It’s time!”
It seems there’s a fine line. If they think you’ll never break, you’re no use to them, so why keep you alive? And staying alive till you can be rescued is the goal.
I was kind of sad that Jojo quit, but I liked that she chose her personal life over her professional one. I thought it was cool how sweet the staff guy was with her. She’s pretty cool.

Just started watching season 2 and I really like it. Really impressed by a couple people that I wasn't sure I liked before. Jojo and Nick to be specific. I was surprised at some of the athletes leaving so soon. I think it takes a lot of mental stamina.

Good season, I can't believe Jojo quit at pretty much the last minute! She did good though, I was impressed.

Finally watched the season 2 final episode.
Thoughts:
It was interesting that all the Staff thought Tom was faking the shivering maybe looking for a medical DQ instead of saying "I Quit". The Staff did not have much respect for Tom and he lost all of it at that point. As a viewer he comes across as a very weak man with no self respect or integrity.
The Staff luv'ed JoJo and where shocked when she quit. I was surprised as it was not for that much longer so why don't you finish it. I don't get it. She stated it was for personal mental reasons. I just don't know.
Staff didn't like Tyler. His arrogance annoyed them. His "I don't like being told what to do" attitude annoyed the Staff. Staff hated when he fell back on using his good looks and "charm" on the female interrogator sealed him doom with the Staff. He must of gotten lot of drunk girls with that act.
Nick totally deserved passing the course.
Erin also passed but to be honest I felt she was this emotionless blank face, I got nothing from this girl.
