Wait, everyone is saying "emails," but all I saw were text conversations. Were there emails too? All I saw on RS's site was screenshots of texts.

They were mixing the words emails and texts. Technically, I think they were texts - at least the 3 we saw.

Perhaps the things that RS shared with Jordan that we're not privy to were emails.

I've seen some speculation, but nothing definitive. Does anyone know for sure what Jenna's line of work is? I see references to "business purposes" but nothing directly referencing what that "business" is.
I tried to find her background info from her original season (I don't even know which season she was on, nor do I care), to see what was listed as her job. I haven't found a thing. Does anyone have that information?
As lowlife as she now seems, she does deserve the benefit of the doubt rather than just assuming she's a prostitute, or in polite terms "escort".

Her bio as a contestant said that she was a Social Media Consultant.
RS dropped the term "sugar daddy." The gentlemen in the texts accused Jenna of manipulating and using men, himself included. He was tired of it and was going to expose it. Jordan and RS both said there had been mentions of business purposes. Jenna told Jordan, "You know I need the money for my business." She made the trips to NYC.
I connected some dots and suggested what possibly COULD be although I said it would make me sick at heart if it were so.
I am sorry I even did. I do not know anything beyond what everyone knows, and I apologize if I have offended anyone.

You were just posting, I really don't care two hoots for Jenna, I dont like she played Jordan, but she was dodgy even on BIP imho I hope Jordan moves on, like they usually do..he wasn't a big favourite of mine, and I dont like to see anyone hurt but he really should watch the show back..

Considering her behavior and the label, "Social Media Consultant', which sounds like nonsense to me, it's a natural assumption to make that she works as a sugar baby Maybe it's not true, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least. It's not like she's Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm here. She's blonde, beautiful, not terribly bright, but extremely manipulative. I'm pretty sure those are some of the job requirements. I hope Jordan comes out of this a little smarter and that he meets someone nice. He wasn't my favorite on Bach'ette, but I actually liked him on BIP. He's a bit of an oddball, but I think he has a good heart.

I googled Jenna Cooper and found her original contestant bio on her Bachelor season. She was listed as 28 and a Social Media Consultant (Manager).
On my Google feed this morning, Newsweek has an interview article with Chris Harrison as to what he thinks and how they are going to handle the situation. They list her profession now at 29 as a Fitness Coach.
Not too surprising - they will not be televising any of this one according to him.

I just finished listening to the podcast with Jordan, and it seems pretty definitive that Jenna's guilty on this one. Jordan's being very understanding but also firm in his resolve not to stay involved with her in a romantic way. I'm impressed with his maturity on this.

I finally got around to listening to the RS podcast with Jordan and maybe the confusion with emails vs. texts is that RS received emails from this alleged sugar daddy. Those texts were attachments in the emails, but RS has not released the actual emails. The only things he made public is those text screen shots. He shared the emails with Jordan, but elected to not make them public, in part to protect the anonymity of the sender.
I'm even more impressed with Jordan than I was before. Not many people in that situation would be able to take the high road and he's really doing that. I only hope he continues to NOT entertain the idea of a reconciliation with Jenna. He deserves better.
Oh, and the fact that Jenna's friend came forward to say that those texts were definitely from Jenna....but that it was the sugar daddy she was lying to and not Jordan = Idiot. That makes it even worse! I mean, nice to get another person confirming that the texts are from her, but how can she not see how horrible that is? Yeah Jordan, it's YOU she really loves, and she's just stringing that other guy along for the money! So flattering!

Just a little gentle amusement here....I am now older, and I am not as impressed with money, position, status, and those kinds of things as I was when I was a younger woman. Frankly, it boils down to me now, "What is the substance of the man?"
However......again gently - this is not I don't think the way the male of the species tends to views things. Sigh...it doesn't matter that they all put their pants on the same way.
Notice, please, that regardless of how sordid all of this is, in the eyes of the guys involved - both RS and Jordan - this is a "gentleman". Men who have the money, status, and position - who have somehow made it to this place in life - can do these kinds of things without losing their status as "gentlemen." They even have "Gentlemen Clubs". AHEM

Now I need to know what skills they bring to the relationship. Are you useful in some way? Can you do something I can't do? I'm pretty capable, but if you can FIX things around the house or repair my car....or give great massages, we're on. Poetry is nice and all, but you need to perform some useful functions for me to be interested I will say, I still require any man I date to be self-sustaining. You need to have transportation, a roof over your head, an income, etc. If I want a DIY project, I'll build a bookcase!
Since this season is over and we no longer actually have spoilers, I'm adding "news" to the thread title.
I thought this was a fun little article featuring Wells. I'd love to hear his thoughts about the Jenna / Jordan situation.

Aw, I like Yuki. I think she's a sweetheart.
I LOVE me some Wells! I was totally onboard for them to make him the Bach. I guess he's now got a gf, but IMO, he'd be a great Bach. Sweet and cute and funny and SMART. What's not to love? I guess he's not as flashy as the ones they usually pick. They seem to need a "story" now instead of just picking a good guy.

Very bad combination. This is the kind of guy that makes me think of someone who is a wife beater -- the type of guy who hurts his woman when he 'thinks' she has wronged him in some way. And heaven help her if she really has. A man like that might or might not 'beat' his woman, but he sure would do SOMETHING drastic. I sure wouldn't want a man like that.

I feel for what Jordan's going through, but have not forgotten how he's treated others along the way. When he lashed out at Chelsea and the other girl (?) on BIP that he thought were talking about him, that was ridiculous. It showed a very ugly side to him. Some of the stuff with David was for show, I believe, but I agree that he's immature. He's also very self-centered, so I wouldn't want to see him be the Bachelor either. I'd much rather have a blubbering virgin! just kidding!

A Growing experience for Jordan, perhaps he has to experience all of this, to change the direction he has been heading in?.....will he become less narcissistic now? Have no idea, but he is dealing with it publicly in a better way then I expected. This is publicly humiliating for him, so I hope he continues to respond maturely.
Jenna, I am at a loss for words. I have no idea if she will change, but I do remember her telling Jordan how deeply she was hurt in the past by relationships, and that as a result she turned cold hearted toward men. That "Jordan" was the first person to change all of that, open her heart again. The latter was probably all fiction, but she did have me convinced for awhile there, that it was all true.
If not for RS, this would have probably ended differently, glad it all came out "before" she went through with a fake marriage.
