Post any and all spoilers here. Thank you, Arielflies! Last night there was a flurry of spoiler articles on the Bachelor in Paradise with info that went beyond even that info RS has. Some of it includes pictures and info even of contestants visiting each other who supposedly left the island by themselves. If you're laughing,  remember this is my first Bachelor in Paradise. This is way wackier than the Bachelor/ette!! This is what we supposedly know: Engaged - Jordan (drama queen model) and Jenna? Left as couples - John the sweet tech guy on Becca's season and Olivia Goethals Kamil (left first night on Becca's season) and Annaliese (this couple may be very serious) Are you ready for this???  Chris (caused a ruckus on Becca's season) and KRYSTAL ( She's beautiful, but I can tell she must have been the conflict in the house.....) On the other hand, Joe the Grocer and Kendall have a "Are they or aren't?" they thing going on.... On the MTA, Chris Harrison asked Joe if he was single. Joe mysteriously said, "I don't know. You tell me." Indeed, they evidently left the island separately. She has been to see him in Chicago, BUT the weekend of so before she was seen having a big ole time at some kind of former Bachelor contestants' fling somewhere. There is more going on that I can't remember off the top of my head. I will look it up in you are interested. |

I had to Google Olivia b/c I could not for the life of me remember who she was. Same with Jenna but once I saw Jenna's photo I remembered her from Arie's season. Just to add to your enjoyment of the whole Kendall, Leo, Grocery Store Joe drama.... Before Paradise started filming, Reality Steve reported that Kendall and Leo had been hanging out together in LA (or "talking" as the kids say these days  ). So there was an existing relationship of some sort there before any of this happened. |

RS said that Grocery Store Joe will be on Dancing With the Stars this Fall! Wow! That's pretty impressive given that very few of the Bachelor/Bachelorette leads have been on recently. That's a good way to give the public more of Joe without having him as the Bachelor, which I think wouldn't have been good. |

Once you click on the article, skip to Page 2. Sources say Jordan is "disgusted" by this news of Jenna cheating (ET article), and that there's been no word from Jenna yet. Since this reunion show isn't live tonight, of course we won't hear about it. But I wonder if they did any editing of it since this news broke?? |

Listening to Jordan speak on the interview with RS, it's pretty obvious she's guilty. She told him she might have been drunk (you know how I get!), and that she'd have to check back in her texts to see if she did send those. Not quite a denial, which is pretty telling. So suddenly she's getting a lawyer and claiming they're fake? I don't buy it.
Jordan was still very supportive, saying he was not against her in any way, was not going to bash her, was going to try to be there for her. I feel for him.

Exactly  I know RS has his h@ters, but he's generally pretty careful when he releases info like this. He seems to really try to make sure the info is supported by evidence and true. Plus, when he's been wrong (like with the outcomes of a few Bach seasons), he totally owns it. It sounds like he probably has dirt on more people in this franchise than he's ever released, likely because a) he can't fully verify it and / or b) it's not that important.
I really do feel for Jordan in this. It seems like he's trying to be the bigger person, but you can tell he's really hurt. The fact that he flat out said that he plans to get engaged once in his lifetime really makes what she did even worse.
I'd guess that Jenna has spent much of her life using her looks to manipulate men (and everyone else) to get what he wants. I doubt she's ever had to face consequences before. I hope that's changing now! It sounds like she really didn't have a lot of friends on the show, but it's clear that Jordan did. That's telling, IMO.

I have never listened to an RS podcast before. I am actually thinking RS may be more savvy than he is given credited for being. It looks to me like he has put this together, and for someone who can be rather ruthless, he really was instead more tactful with a hurting, deceived Jordan.
The words "for business purposes" were brought up several times, and RS dropped the term "sugar daddy" which is usually used to indicate an older man who finances the woman's needs in return for her attention and sexual favors.
The email "gentleman" -referred to as such by Jordan and given some deference, too, by RS - complained of himself and other men being manipulated and used. Jenna herself justified things as for "business purposes".
I am sick at heart. I don't know if this is what it is, but this is the basis for Escort Services (Call Girls) which might explain "for business purposes".
Jenna's friend suggested that in a backward way Jenna is actually in love with Jordan - that it is the "sugar daddy" who is the one being played.
Jordan thought that didn't help the situation, but it would explain why Jenna is trying to fight for her relationship with Jordan ...at least in her mind.
This makes me sad at heart. I am afraid Jenna may be in way over her head in this way of life.

I am no expert on Escort Services. I have seen a TV expose' on one running in - of course, NYC which is where Jenna goes on her business trips.
I have no idea if this is what she was mixed up in, but some of it, unfortunately, is fitting the scenario.
On the surface, Escort Services are perfectly legit and fine. They provide an evening with an attractive lady to generally an influential, wealthy gentleman - somebody from politics, business, the legal world, the field of entertainment, etc., and most often for an occasion.
An investigation showed, however, that quite frequently, though discreetly, it is understood the evening will include sexual favors as well.
She told Jordan, "I need the money for my business. You know I do."
If she was involved with an Escort Service, I am inclined to believe Jordan did not understand the full scope of what is actually meant. I can not believe he did. Why would he not believe the sexual part?
Now - why would I think he would be that naive?
We watched the show. We watched how defensive and how possessive he was of "my girl" whenever another guy got too close or tried to break in to what he considered his territory.
I am chuckling a bit here. Mores' have changed over the years since I was young South of the Mason-Dixon Line, but that one hasn't.
Men are not going to sexually share their women.
That plane is not going to fly.
Besides just taking the high road, though, Jordan may consider that Jenna could come back and say to him, " I did tell you I needed the money for my business, and you said you understood."
I think he is a gentleman at heart. I think he fell hard for her, and he would have to expose her completely to defend that.

First, it was stated two or three times by RS (and agreed with by Jordan) that there were other emails - besides the 3 that we saw. RS said it was "not necessary for you to see them; just know that they exist, and they have been shared with Jordan." My stomach sank. We had seen enough. The others must have been worse, but Jordan needed to see them ( or at least deserved to see them). This may be, Fanny, what helped Jordan get to the point where he was and also to where he and RS could agree to the very sensitive Pod conversation we heard. Jordan is so surprisingly well spoken ( who would have thought it, considering the story line he was give in Becca's season). He is also surprisingly composed and fairly realistic for this stage of the game. He can think all this through, he can verbalize it well, and he realizes that though he fell head over heels in love with Jenna, he really hasn't known her very long at all. ( He used the word "briefly." ) I am wondering in that short time period immediately after the reveal if he was able to get with someone - a wise confidant - who has been a little bit more able to help him sort through this. I am hoping so. One way or the other, Jenna has to find a better way in life. There will be someone for her, too. History shows us there usually is, but I think this relationship - played out in public in front of millions - is fatally wounded. |
