I'm seriously annoyed that Lifetime pulled MAFS UK from the schedule. It was starting to get good! Obviously, since it already aired in the UK, it's easy to find out what happened, but I wanted to WATCH it! Agreed about Lindsay, var1117 - she seems to enjoy being miserable AND judgemental (not of herself, obviously). They did that Second Chances season years ago and it didn't work. I thought Vanessa deserved the second chance, but David turned out to be a giant creep. I do think there are some people from multiple seasons who were done dirty, but I don't know that I trust the producers to give them a real shot at love in a second chances scenario.

What did Jephte and Shawniece have to say for themselves?

OMG, you guys. This season is never ending. According to MAFS Fan, this is what's coming up:
6/28 - Reunion, Part 2 7/5 - Where Are They Now? 7/12 - The Tea From A-Z 7/19 - A Look Back At Nashville
Good LORD. Enough already! "A look back?" The season JUST ended! They've really gone all-in on the audience wanting this much of these people and we really don't. I might have wanted to see more of New Orleans - those couples were fun - but this group? UGH. Exhausting.

I think I've finally caught up. I fell behind, and actually couldn't believe it every time I saw more *new* episodes on my DVR -- I couldn't figure out why the season wasn't over by now. Well, now I see ... things kept changing after Decision Day! What??!! Yeah, the season that never ends. That Lindsey girl who showed up on that tell-all, was horrible! I must have missed that season, and it sounds like I didn't miss much (except for a lot of lying, apparently). She was so negative, prickly and petty. I didn't like her at all. I love seeing Jephte and Shawniece! It was interesting to hear how their relationship changed, by doing the show where they had their baby. Of all the couples this season, Shaq and Kirsten seemed pretty well matched to me, although she turned him off right away talking about money/providing and sounding like a spoiled brat, she did seem to turn it around and come to care about him. I wished they could've gotten over the hump, and given their marriage a good try. Nicole and Chris will probably make it, but I can't say I enjoy watching them that much. She is off-putting, but I admit to liking her better than I did in the beginning. They obviously chose well for her, though, since Chris doesn't seem to mind how outspoken she is and indeed seems to like it! Good for them, hope they continue to be happy. I liked how they addressed Kevin Frazier's comments and predictions that she'd drive Chris crazy! The one I really, really dislike from this year is Dom. Ugh, that girl made me mad. She was NOT nice, acted petty, immature, and thought pretty highly of herself in such an ugly way. What's with the kissing Clint?? I like recording these shows, because there sure is a lot of filler and fluff that I can just FF through.

It makes tv viewing so much more pleasant when I can FF past all the stuff I don't want to see. Plus, on the reverse side of things, when there's parts that I want to watch again, I can rewind and go back to them, again. So cool!

Justin from season 15 (married to Alexis, whose dog his dog attacked) just revealed that he's been diagnosed with Klinefelter SyndromeIf you scroll down on that page and read the symptoms in men, it all checks out....I mean, we don't know what's happening under the hood with him, so-to-speak, but the other physical characteristics are dead-on.

^ That makes a lot of sense, after reading all those symptoms. (LOL at "under the hood" phrase!)
Tonight's Reunion Part 2 had a lot of the same-old, same-old: could Shaq and Kirsten get back together? How frank is Nicole and did it bother anyone, how much did Clint love Hank? I didn't learn much that I didn't know or want to know.
The part I appreciated was when the "experts" called Dom out, because she tried to tell Mac that she didn't ever bash his character, and they all said, Yeah you did. She asked if it was that bad, and they all said yes it was. At least tonight she seemed more open, less defensive and snotty.

We may finally have confirmation that Miles and Karen has split. There's a video on his IG of him speaking in a group and he mentioned a "separation in my marriage."
Also, Jamie confirmed on his IG that he filed for divorce from Beth. She, OTOH posted a weird rambling rant, presumably in response. Glad he's free from that relationship. I don't know how he lived in that chaos for so long. He seems like a relatively even-keeled person, so it must have taken a lot for him to finally say, "enough."
I'm shocked that I actually enjoyed tonight's reunion episode. Even if most of the marriages didn't work out, the fact that they were all able to be (mostly) friends, is pretty great. I still have about 30 minutes left, so maybe it'll all come tumbling down into drama, but I hope not.
I feel sort of sad for Shaq and Kirsten. They seem like they could really be something if they could just get on the same page. Sometimes I think the experts can come off as a bit clueless, but I shared their puzzlement about Shaq and Kirsten.

The reunion seemed mostly unnecessary, almost thrown together with some of the people coming and going back to work, not attending the whole time. But, it had a lot of very nice parts to it, like Clint's 5 course meal with each course representing each couple (i.e. short ribs for Dom and Mac because their relationship was so short). Then they went around and did kind comments to each other, which brought some tears out! Sounded like Clint spent hours and hours making that meal, and the girls laughed that he'd said he'd need lots of help, but when they offered he didn't take any. Well, then we saw he had Chris helping make chocolate soufflé. It was a very nice idea, and the food looked good!
We heard how Shaq is living in Austin, and he admitted at the very end that there's still a spark there, but during the entire episode I got the impression that she'd get back together but he didn't want to. It was kind of sad! She mentioned her dress at the beginning, that once he saw her in it, he'd want her back (like she was hoping that). They seem like they could really be a good couple, now that they're out of the stressful environment. He's dating though, and just out having fun. We didn't hear if she had been out on dates since the last reunion.
I was surprised that Airris is still not dating. And Jasmine, while nice, seemed very checked out from this whole thing. Her boyfriend doesn't watch the show and they don't talk about it and have pretty much moved on, and she says she's ready to get married and have babies. Airris really spoke a lot about growing from this. It was his 40th birthday they were celebrating (Shaq's bday too), so I hope he's doing well.
They talked about the horrible messages they've gotten from the public, not even just by looking for it, going and reading online but actually things sent directly to them. That's awful. It was nice to hear them all stick up for each other in those instances, because it's got to be hard. They seem like a pretty close gang.
The only person who got snotty during their getaway was Dom (of course), because the girls sometimes go do things and don't invite her. They seemed surprised to hear this. Was one of the times dress shopping, she said? IDK. Dom's just got a chip on her shoulder, showing her immaturity over and over again.

Gina's loss is some lucky woman's gain. Clint is going to make someone very happy. He's pretty well off from what I can tell, is adventurous and a great cook! I also think he's nice looking. When I think of gingers, I don't really think of Clint's hair color. Still, it seems a pretty lame reason not to be attracted to someone. I didn't believe Gina when she said she had a boo. I think she made that up after hearing that Clint has moved on with someone else.

Hope springs eternal! Yep, I think we're optimistic! Even though 2 of the 3 couples who married in New Orleans are split, I think we're always hoping for another season like that. Unfortunately, we keep ending up with stinkers like Houston and Boston...and San Diego and Nashville and....

Nothing wrong with that. it would be great to see how this experiment worked with people who have experienced more of life. Likely not as much drama, which production lives for, but more honest, actual interactions with folks.

Watching the ads for the upcoming season, I am wondering how these people were selected. The pairings are strange in a couple of them as well. I feel badly for the guy who is left at the altar. Or maybe not. We'll see.

The matchmaking special is tonight! I'm glad my DVR remembered because I totally forgot!
If that one guy does get left/stood up at the altar, that's a total jerk move from his would-be bride. I can't imagine doing that to someone, period, much less on TV. If you think there's a chance you'd bail last minute, don't sign up to do this show.

I just have to roll my eyes at a 34 year old woman talking about how this show is her last hope and last chance. Oh, honey. Bless your heart.
I'm glad they finally have another expert in the matchmaking process. They talked up Dr. Pia last season and it felt like we saw her maybe twice. We'll see if she adds any value when we get to D Day and see if the success rate is any better this season.
As always, I start with optimism, but know I'm probably a fool.
I read speculation that the runaway bride may come back. I guess this will be a scenario we really haven't seen before.

Yeah, pretty crummy about the runaway bride. I mean if single, I'd never be able to marry at first sight, but wouldn't sign up. However, if the jilted groom is that 38 y.o. long haired guy with all those tats, I'd be pretty pissed if I were the bride. Were there NO other acceptable applicants?

According to MAFSFan, (possible spoiler about Michael) {Spoiler} Michael DID get married to a woman named Chloe. They got married in March, while the other couples were married in January. SO, either she was a replacement bride or she was the original bride who got over her cold feet. We know the editing on this show is so manipulative. We won't know what actually happened until the episodes air.

I think Michael is an interesting guy (and I don't mean "interesting"), but did you get a load of the CROWN he showed up to the altar wearing in that preview? I don't know how I would have reacted either. It was WAY OTT. When they were talking in the special last night about why he's still single, I kept waiting for one of them to say, "Can we talk about the HAIR!?" That's why. First impressions matter and that hair is saying A LOT and not all of it is a reflection of who he is. I thought he was much better looking when they showed him in the gym with his hair in a bun. The Prince hair with the bandana is not a great look....unless you're Prince and it's 1990. Someone needs to have a talk with him about it. Obviously, he can do whatever he wants with his hair, but he also has to realize that it is likely putting people off. I think his clothes are great, but, combined with their hair, it's a lot.
So yeah, the hair AND the crown at a "blind" wedding is a bit much. It's one thing if you've been with someone prior to the wedding and you've made those style choices, but that's a lot to spring on someone who's never met you.
I felt really sorry for Beth last night. She's always been a bit much, but Jamie's a pretty cold fish. You can see in those old clips how he might have been keeping his annoyance or anger right under the surface. In the clip of her showing off the ring he got her, it feels very much like she's acting much happier than she is. I remember being surprised they stayed together on DDay. I never thought their energies were compatible and it was always Beth who had to make changes for Jamie. That marriage seemed exhausting. I hope they're both able to move on and find more peace than they clearly had in their relationship.
I was glad to see Chris and Nicole still doing well, and Clint looks happy too.
I have very little hope for any of the Denver couples, not based on anything we've seen in these two episodes. It's just the history of the show. I do like that the experts gave at least a few of them what they asked for. The experts often give people what THEY think they need.
As always, MAFSFan is going to post spoilers about DDay after the weddings air.

According to MAFS Fan, the runaway bride was at the bachelorette party. They just edited her out. Someone took screen shots and you can clearly see her wearing white and, I think, a sash and partying with the other four ladies. It's very weird. I wonder why they aren't showing her face.
After this week's episode, MAFS Fan is going to reveal her spoilers for who stays married and gets divorced. I'm sure it'll get posted here. If someone gets to it before I do, please use spoiler tags!

I really think that after Alyssa(sp? The one that married Chris and was "a good person") production is not letting runaway bride be shown on TV so she doesn't get to use the show to get her 15 minutes. So much of the online discussion centers around the idea that she threatened to sue or something if they showed her, but that would have been covered in the release they all sign, wouldn't it

Of course, I think the contract also probably specifies that you can't annul the marriage, only divorce, and two marriages were annulled a few seasons ago.
It would make sense that they weren't showing her on screen if they were concerned she was only in it for social media followers.
Michael looked LOADS better on the After Party with his shorter hair.

Okay, here are the spoilers from MAFSFan. This is what her sources say happens on Decision Day: {Spoiler} All of the couples get divorced. BUT, Lauren and Orion split before Decision Day. MAFSFan speculates that it has something to do with a crew member who was released a few weeks after the weddings and the previews where Lauren seems to admit cheating on Orion. These are not 100% verified; she says she's 95% sure though. She's been pretty accurate in previous seasons. Now I have to decide if I even want to watch.
