They are dragging the Maggie and Jackson break up out. Rumors are this is Jesse Williams last season.

I have to say Dr. Koracick is quickly become a favorite of mine. I wish there was more of him.

I guess she is supposed to be early 40s on the show, since she started out as an intern 15 years ago. (Has it been on that long?!) On the coming attractions, there seemed to be a romantic moment between her and DeLuca, but it could very well turn out to be imaginary. I really don't want to see those two together.


Koracick is the best new character they've introduced in years.

Teddy blurting out she's pregnant ,when she's in surgery, was beyond stupid..

Give me more Koracick! Loved it when he told Teddy that it won't last with Owen but he will be waiting.

You are so right. I've had it out for Jackson ever since what he did to Stephanie at April's wedding.

Whoa! Not a single word about last night's episode?

I haven't finished watching it yet. I got through the letters to Meredith and Jo. Once I had the idea of what happened, I went to bed and will watch the rest later. It was a fun way to look back on the show - but I have to admit that my main takeaway was that the show used to be really really great and the relationships between the characters - both hookups and friendships - were great. Remembering that, it was also clear that the show has lost it's greatness and now I'm just watching out of habit. It made me want to start watching reruns on Thursday nights instead of new episodes.

Ellen Pompeo has been so consistent in her hair and her little make up look that I had kind of let myself believe she had not changed in all these years. Seeing those clips I was shocked at how much she has changed!
I think the show has lost it's plot development. They used to couple off characters who had amazing chemistry. It didn't make a lot of sense on the surface to put Christina and Burke together, but they had a chemistry that made it really work. Now, it seems like the couple off characters based on which actors are available to film that week. If one needs a week off, they split up out of the blue that week and the character who got dumped is suddenly with someone else. And there are entirely too many stories that start to develop and then suddenly end ... Miranda was pregnant and then all the sudden they decide it would be inconvenient to have her working all the time with a baby so the baby is gone. They don't mention Izzy for years and years, and then all the sudden Alex has never forgotten her and still loves her. They left that of the show for so long that I had totally forgotten they ever got married. When they showed the scenes of their wedding, I kept waiting for the part where one of them called it off.

They're writing an hour of filler each week at this point instead of telling stories.

I agree with you that it was totally out of character - especially since Jo had been working through whether or not she wanted children. If that story played out according to character, Alex would have told Jo about the kids, and they would have gone out together to meet them. I'm sure they didn't do that because the actress who plays Jo isn't leaving , and they need her. But they could have done it that way, let Alex decide he needed to be with the kids, and let Jo decide it wasn't a life for her.

I still want to know the story of why exactly Justin Chambers left so suddenly. I think a lot of the reason his departure was out of character was that they had to explain it without him there. Why? Why couldn't he give enough notice to have filmed his departure?

It does seem most fans, are not happy with the way this all went down.
My husband said, the letter to Mer, was more intimate and touching, than the letter to Jo. I think he had a point.
He announced he was leaving when? January I think, so maybe they really wanted him to end up with Izzy( someone I never liked btw) I I was just so happy Bailey and Ben  took Joey into their home

Justin Chambers left the show suddenly to focus on his mental health at a rehab facility. It is something he has struggled with before. He never filmed again so looks like they were left scrambling for some sort of happy send off for Alex.



Once they announced his exit in January I figured he would end up with Izzie. It was the love of his life and he’s brought her up over the years. I just thought he would film a few episodes and Katherine Heigl would return so it would at least make sense! Instead it just seemed ridiculous and poor Jo was left a crummy letter and a check.


I wish the actor well.

I had no idea, I wish him well. His life is worth so much more ,than this show.
