sunnydayz, Nicola Walker is a great actress! Did you ever see her in River? There was only one season, but I loved it too. We refer to her as "our Jillian" (Last Tango in Halifax). We absolutely love her. She's so "real."

Well, what the heck? I just saw the last episode of US tonight and am not sure if my DVR stopped recording before the actual end. If anyone watched it in real time, can you tell me if it ended with Connie and Douglas admiring Albie's photos in the exhibit? I read elsewhere that there was more.

But he has somewhere to be: an art museum, where Freja is waiting for him.

Yes, and when he sees Freja, they kiss!!!! It shows them happy and content, which is much more resolution than the book provides. The second part was so much more enjoyable. I loved how Douglas was determined to heal his relationship with his son. Later, when he praised his son's art, you knew he really meant it. PBS Masterpiece makes it available to watch online also.

Well, I immediately read a synopsis of the book after you told me that you enjoyed this production. So, I had the idea that the book ending was "open to interpretation". But, this was a much better ending, and I am really glad they provided that clarity and harmony among the characters.

New season of Unforgotten tonight followed by a new version of Professor T. The latter, stars Ben Miller, you might remember him as Inspector Poole from Death in Paradise? I never watched the previous version of the Professor T series, so I have no idea what this series is about. But, I usually enjoy Ben Miller in any performance, even when his character leaves much to be desired (Lord Featherington in Bridgerton). ETA: PBS video PBS Professor T

Well I'm glad Cass is back, even if she doesn't want to be. It felt empty and strange in the beginning.
I am enjoying Professor T! But, Ben Miller is great in every character he plays, so I pretty much knew this would be good.

She has a lot on her weary shoulders.

Coming to Masterpiece soon: GUILT “It’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up” goes the old saying. But that didn’t stop brothers Max and Jake from hiding their guilt after running into an elderly pedestrian during an inebriated drive home from a wedding. Mark Bonnar (Unforgotten) and Jamie Sives (To the Ends of the Earth) star as Max and Jake in a darkly absorbing tale of rascality and deceit, on Guilt, airing in four parts with back-to-back episodes on MASTERPIECE, Sundays, September 5 and 12 at 9/8c.
Guilt costars Ruth Bradley (Pursuit) as Angie, the niece and closest relative of the hit-and-run victim, named Walter. Arriving in Edinburgh from her home in Chicago, Angie meets Max and Jake at Walter’s wake, where they have come to retrieve incriminating evidence. Angie and Jake hit it off, which complicates Max’s plan to escape justice.
Also appearing are Emun Elliott (The Paradise) as Kenny, Max’s alcoholic private detective; Sian Brooke (Sherlock) as Claire, Max’s suspicious wife; Moyo Akandé (The Hurricane Heist) as Claire’s more-than-gym buddy, Tina; Ellie Haddington (Foyle’s War) as Walter’s pathologically vigilant neighbor, Sheila; and Bill Paterson (Wives and Daughters) as Roy, a sinister mob boss in Edinburgh.
We've announced more airdates for shows coming in 2021! Mark your calendars: Grantchester Season 6 premieres Sunday, October 3 and, Baptiste Season 2 beings Sunday, October 17. Let the countdowns begin!

Well, I have PBS passport and went ahead and watched all of the delightful Professor T season. Well done, of course Ben Miller is great in every role and I really enjoyed him as Professor T. Unforgotten, oh my. Incredible season! Nicola Walker is such an accomplished and versatile actress it is not surprising that she is in such high demand. I love Sanjeev Bhaskar and look forward to seeing him again next season. {Spoiler}Ending to this season is heartbreaking, so be prepared to weep. Sunny (Sanjeev Bhaskar) will be back to helm in the next series.

I love Sanjeev Bhaskar and look forward to seeing him again next season. As do I . . . I looked him up on IMDB and saw that he was in an earlier series called "The Indian Doctor." We binged it on Acorn. The second season of the show was like watching today's news.

RIP Cassie! I love Nicole Walker in everything she does. I understand she is very good in “The Split” which is still active. I think she has a massive resume, and although I have never read that she has a stutter, I admire that she never hides it. One of my favorite actresses. I will miss her in Unforgotten, but grateful they are carrying on.
First time I saw it, I sobbed in disbelief. It was easier to watch last night. Sunny’s tribute to he was perfect!

Wow! I just saw the ending because my kids hate naps currently (but they woke up early and ran around all day so yay for naps at the same time!) I thought the ending of the murder was weak, but the Cassie death I was not expecting. Her poor dad listening to the voicemail over and over.....I was gutted.

Endeavour season 8 starts Sept 12 in the UK with 3 episodes. Maybe it will be on PBS near the end of the year! Rodger allum, fred thursday, also gave an interview recently in which he says this season may not be the last for endeavour. There was much speculation that this is the end as it finishes 33 episodes, the same number as both inspector morse and inspector lewis.

Yes, the 33 episodes are sort of a tribute to Russell Lewis. I guess we will see. Maybe, they will do a continuation of the series with Thursday, similar to Inspector Lewis? Anyway, this article claims it is the end of the series. Looks Like the Endeavour Series Will End As Predicted, at 33 Episodes.Just a reminder: Guilt premiere Sunday. A hit-and-run accident lands two brothers in hot water, and leads to an insane cover-up in Guilt. See why critics are calling it "an utter triumph, a word-of-mouth dazzler" (The Guardian, UK) when you watch Episode 1 this Sunday at 9/8c, followed immediately by Episode 2 at 10/9c.
