Oh my gosh!!! I never expected this!!! Be still my heart!!! A second helping of Downton movie could already be on the menu!!! "A second Downton Abbey film is in the offing, six months before the first opens. The lives of the Crawley family upstairs and their staff downstairs fascinated ITV audiences for six years. A follow-up movie written by Julian Fellowes was shot last year, with Hugh Bonneville as Lord Grantham, Elizabeth McGovern as his wife Cora, and their daughters Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael) gathered again with Maggie Smith as Violet, the Dowager Countess. Also returning are many of Downton’s downstairs contingent played by Joanne Froggatt, Brendan Coyle, Sophie McShera, Rob James-Collier, Phyllis Logan, Jim Carter and Lesley Nicol; plus (upstairs again) Penelope Wilton as Isobel Crawley and a newcomer to the Downton cast, Imelda Staunton." www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6784667/BAZ-BAMIGBOYE-Second-helping-Downton-movie-menu.html

The last season of The Durrells in Corfu is supposed to start next month on ITV. So not sure when it will make it to PBS in the US, but I am glad they did a 4th series.

I too am looking forward to the Durrells! Final season 4 has to bring closure to their life in Corfu, as the series does follow (loosely) their true story. Keeley Hawes (Mrs Durrell) mentions that it will get a little dark as the war approaches. So, for me, I guess, a "happy ending" is my favorite characters.... all getting off the island safely. www.radiotimes.com/news/tv/2019-03-28/the-durrells-series-4-air-date-cast-keeley-hawes/

She just seemed like a completely different person and I am not sure why it didn't register.

I know. They announced it a while back. Man, that's going to feel weird without all the drama over Elizabeth. What will Ross and George do with themselves? Maybe George will start a vendetta to get revenge on Ross? I could totally see him doing that.

It makes me laugh, it makes me cry I also loved Mrs Wilson, and wondered just how many! ? I was ill and had a hard time staying up through Call the Midwife, but it was very, very good. Loved the father and his triplet daughter. The raw love and emotion when he first saw her...... beautiful. Couldn't stay awake for Mrs. Wilson. Might try to catch it later.

Speedy return to good health wishes going out to you, libgirl2!
I loved both Call the Midwife and Mrs Wilson! In fact, I enjoyed the latter so much I went ahead and watched all three episodes ( via PBS passport). Ruth Wilson’s acting was exceptional, especially in the third episode. I won’t spoil it, but the epilogue was something you won’t want to miss.

This article has some photos of the real life Alex Wilson, Gladys, Dorothy, Alison, and Elizabeth Wilson. Ruth (actress playing her grandmother) was the daughter of Nigel. If your interested.....There is a quote from Ruth saying:
{Spoiler}"Granny knew grandad had one wife, thank God she didn't know about the other two."
Article below has real life details so do not read if you don't want to be spoiled. But, you may enjoy the seeing the photos. www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/7715800/ruth-wilson-grandmother-bigamist-spy-drama/

The Women in photos were all very beautiful, some were similar in looks. Amazing story, and although this Mrs Wilson series is based on a true story (and it is portrayed chronologically); some of the details were adjusted for the sake of storytelling. The article above, correctly lists the details (at the bottom of the article) in chronological order. All in all, It took about 40 years after Alex's death, before all of the story would be revealed.
edit: “Whole life of deceit” purple box in center of article defines Chronological order, not bottom of article.

Unforgotten is really good; it always pulls me in. I really hope the guy with the dog isn't the murderer; he was sweet with the dog and with the lady he asked to marry him.

I would describe it as some brilliantly funny moments and witty banter set inside what appears to be a serious arc for the season.

Is anybody else watching Les Miserable? Overall I think it's good, but the British accents are terribly distracting. They couldn't have hired French actors? Or the British ones couldn't have tried to fake a French accent? I mean, they shed their accents to play American parts all the time

Wow @ Unforgotten. It's really one of the best written crime shows out there.
Call the Midwife has been great this season. I've LOVED all of Trixie's and Nurse Anderson's clothing this season- really lovely! I did not see the twist with Val's grandma coming - AT ALL.
I've been loving Les Mis as well. It's been really nicely done!
