The Witcher - season 3 part 1 - that was a cliffhanger they ended on. Why do all the intellectuals under estimate the Witchers?
65 - DO NOT WATCH - it is terrible - fast forwarded through the entire film

Ugh, I agree about 65. I was really looking forward to watching that one - with Adam Driver, dinosaurs and sci-fi it should have been a good movie. Or at least fun. Sadly, it was neither.

I'm on episode 4 and already dreading the wait until next month. I'll admit that it took me FAR too long to recognize Lana Parrilla and I watched every episode of Once Upon A Time. I think it was the scar. Either she had some work done on it or the makeup artist's hid it really well. I think it's a combination of her hair being longer, her having lost a little weight (very little, since she didn't have much to spare) AND probably some very good work. She doesn't look like some actresses who get work done and it ruins their face. Kudos to her doctor/whoever for doing such a good job. She looks younger, but not like she's been injected and pulled up. I forgot about her scar. I'm probably not going back to watch just to check, but did she have it removed?

There was a show on the Cooking Channel called "Stab That Cake" that had a similar premise to "Is It Cake" but only aired for 3 episodes. I wonder if Netflix picked the show up and made just enough changes to it to make it a somewhat different show. I'm glad because I loved "Stab That Cake" and wanted more episodes, and "Is it Cake" really filled that need.

The Outlaws - I tried watching this as I was up for a comedy and Pierce Brosnan was in it. I did hear a review on the local radio that is was terrible. On the other hand it is this weeks number one movie on Netflix.
It is terrible Do Not Watch.
It is DUMB and BORING and just BAD! What a waste of all that talent.

GREAT cast, but terrible movie. Not only Pierce Brosnan, but also Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Ellen Barkin, Adam Devine and Nina Dobrev...and Michael Rooker, who I'll watch in anything. I chuckled a few times, but it was otherwise really cringe worthy.
I browsed past Hack My Home for days until I finally watched it. The "experts" bordered on annoying, but the creativity shown to help people get more space out of their space was really cool. It was definitely more than just buying organizational tools, like in The Home Edit. This was knocking down walls, extending attic space to create a loft, building convertible furniture. Really fun to see what they came up with.

<--*quietly removes The Outlaws from my watchlist* I finished the first part of The Witcher (season 3) - how are they going to continue without Henry Cavill? He's so perfect in the role. And those leather pants. Finally watched Don't Pick up the Phone. How did this even happen once, never mind 100's of times??! I worked at a Hardee's in high school, if my manager tried to strip search me I would have slugged him. Insanity.

We watched about 3 episodes. The "experts" were pretty annoying. When I see how pristine the end result is - after they've started with a bit of a cluttered mess - I don't hold out a lot of hope that the "hacks" will have a permanent result. Some of them (the dining room table folded into the island) were not something that I can see them using often. Those individual table leafs look like they'd be scratched after sliding them in and out. And I can't believe that home-school classroom in the basement is going to stay that tidy. I prefer shows like Marie Kondo. Help people get organized (the greatest "hack" of all), and try to teach them how to limit what they bring into a smallish environment. I got SO many great ideas from her. And whenever we go through a drawer, we ask "Does this strike joy?" If the answer is "no" . . . it's gone.

I worked at a Hardee's in high school, if my manager tried to strip search me I would have slugged him. Insanity. Yea, that one was pretty awful. I kind of understand the employee listening to their boss, but didn't these people think it odd that a cop would be calling and having them not only have the employee strip, but jumping jacks and sex acts? I have to think there was some baseline perversion in them already and this just gave them their okay to act. We are planning on watching the new Birdbox movie. I enjoyed the first one enough to check it out and kind of hope it is better.

The new season of Too Hot To Handle just dropped. Is it mean that I enjoy seeing the pretty, self-involved people brought low by, what's essentially, a fancy Alexa?

I mean, really, WTF? Do people in their real life roll their eyes? They're just ridiculous. The best part about the show is Lana and the woman doing the voice over relentlessly mocking them. Without that, the show wouldn't work, IMO.
I watched Survival of the Thickest last night with Michelle Buteau, who I do like. The show was okay although very predictable.

I had this in my queue to watch. I don't mind a predictable story if it is well done. I got maybe 20 minutes in and just stopped. I could tell it might have some good moments but I really didn't want to drag through the not so good. So I switched to Hulu and watched 3 episodes of "The Bear".

Outer Banks - Rich vs Poor kids in a coastal town with a mix of treasure hunting, teen angst, love and cheesiness. Binged all three seasons as I needed something that was fluff and this satisfied it. I was entertained and although some of the twists and turns were very predictable, I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching it.

Suits - Why am I just NOW finding out about this little gem of a show? On season 3 and can't stop watching. Love it. The constant movie quote references and the laugh out loud dialogue... Add in the twisty office lawyer politics and the oversized egos and amazing chemistry between Donna and Harvey.. Yep, I'm sold. Why do I have a soft place in my heart for Louis?
Got a bunch more seasons to go but loving it so far. Apparently Netflix doesn't have season 9 so once I get to that, will have to find it somewhere.

Gabriel Macht is so dreamy That man can wear a suit. The clothes on that show are amazing, especially on the women and Donna and Jessica, in particular. Just stunning stuff. It was a pretty popular show, as far as basic cable goes, but still not HUGE. You can see why it was a total shock when it was announced that Harry was dating Meghan. I remember going, "Wait. The one on Suits!?"
I'm up watching the new episodes of Too Hot to Handle, even though I vowed to get to bed earlier tonight. At least the episodes aren't long.
It's so funny, but Alex sounds like Hugh Grant to me. I'm on the last episode, but I won't post any spoilers, since most people aren't up watching this in the middle of the night. I do hope Alex and Louis don't blow it with their girls in the end.

The clothes were just outstanding on the show! I did some research back then to find out where they got the women’s wardrobe. It was a designer consignment shop somewhere in Los Angeles. I don’t recall the details anymore, but those dresses were just stunning.

If you watched the Harry and Meghan wedding, you saw that Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty SLAYED. It made me wonder if they had a say in their wardrobe on Suits or if the wardrobe inspired them to up their game.
I entirely forgot about season 2 of Next in Fashion, so I watched that yesterday. Now I'm watching the final season of Dead to Me. Considering I'm in a mopey mood, this might not have been the best choice.

They Cloned Tyrone: Some questionable people from the hood discover a nefarious government conspiracy right in their own backyard. Not for everyone but it's messy and funny as hell, and John Boyega and Teyonah Parris are highlights as a drug dealer and hooker with a heart of gold (while being smart as hell), respectively. The true star is Jamie Foxx who has returned to his roots in comedy as a particularly messy pimp. Starts slow but is a gas once it starts cooking.

Finished Witcher Season 3. Part two was only 3 episodes with a double long last episode.
I enjoyed it. Each season got better. I thought season 1 was terrible. Season 2 and 3 are much better.
I wonder if Yen will tell the other lady sorcerers that they never had to have their uteri removed from their bodies as the price to pay to become fully magical, that their leader only did it as the Brotherhood would kick out a sorcerous if she got pregnant as that was divided loyalties. Always men creating a double standard, who cares how many bastards they sired but women can't have children because it divided their loyalty from their organization. I cry foul. Women can brutally discard their children and not love them just as well as men have always done.
While I don't really care that Henry Cavill is leaving the role of Gerard, Liam Helmsworth seems a good physical replacement. The real question is can Liam stare into the camera and growl as well as Henry did? I won't quit watching the show just because an actor left especially now that a lot of fans are starting to bad mouth the show and say how bad it is. There are also stories coming out how fanboy and disruptive Henry was on set. Really does the show need this PR? Do fanboys need to kill a show because this or that does not happen how they wanted it to happen?

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish - I was in the mood for something cute and this fit the bill purrfectly. Nice message, too.
The Witcher - the last three episodes of the season were pretty great, but I'm still salty about Cavill leaving.
Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food - yet another documentary that makes me want to stop eating altogether. Gross.
Hidden Strike - kind of corny action flick with John Cena and Jackie Chan, who saved the whole mess from being unwatchable.
Wham! - a decent documentary about the band. I enjoyed it.
