Black Panther arrived in the mail yesterday and I slid it right into the DVD player. I liked it so much more than Thor: Ragnarok. I'm ready to pledge my loyalty. :D

That and the drum beats. Oh, and Martin Freeman was quite the surprise. I never read a spoiler with his name in it.

The 2018 remake of Fahrenheit 451. Fitting since The Power That Be are about to destroy years of brilling writing at FORT!

We finally got to see the new Avengers movie. The talk on the street is you're not supposed to spoil the ending. No problem. I still don't understand it. But it was a fun movie none the less.

Saw Deadpool 2 today. Hilarious and so inappropriate just the way it's supposed to be. Loved it. Going to see the new Avengers tomorrow and maybe fit Solo in if there is time.

Since I don't have young children in the house, I don't see many children's movies, but since I work with children I like to know what they're talking about. So, the other day in class we got a reward, and watched Trolls. It was very cute and fun; I really liked it. The music in it was fun too!
But then I brought a few others home w/me in case I had time over the weekend to watch them, and The Secret Life Of Pets was such a disappointment. I couldn't even finish it; it wasn't fun or funny. It had such potential, but really was a let down.
Guess I'll stick to the classic kids' movies that I know I like! Seems they're either really well done, or just plain stupid. It must be hard to make them good.

The new Avengers movie. Dear lord was it long. But it was good. Entertaining. But one of those action flicks that can be exhausting to watch. I don't know what to think about the ending.

We saw it too this weekend. I was very much entertained. The only thing with the ending is you just need to watch what Marvel movies are coming out to know how things will turn out.

In Darkness - pretty good thriller starring Natalie Dormer (who will always be Margaery Tyrell to me). It went in a totally different direction than I thought it would about halfway through... Also watched the Baywatch remake - I went in with low expectations and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of eye candy, crude humor, and a few good laughs.

We watched a Netflix film called Kaleidoscope, starring Toby Jones. It was… shall we say… different.

So after seeing the SP .... we came home and yup as old as we are .... we watched INCREDIBLES 1 to get ready for 2 coming out JUNE 15th!!!

Molly's Game.
I didn't think I'd like it, I'm not a gambler. It's a long movie, but we really enjoyed it...

I just got done watching Jurassic World on plain old Network TV, NBC I think. I'd never seen it before. It was really good. Had my attention through the whole 3 hours. I think the reason it was shown on Network TV is that the sequel is about to be released this month, June 22 I think. I think this showing was to drum up business. It worked for me. I now want to see the sequel.

We watched “Black Panther” and “A Wrinkle in Time” the past few days. We enjoyed both of them. Summer is such a nice time to catch up on things!

American Made - with Tom Cruise. Entertaining, even if they did fudge the truth a good bit. A Quiet Place - liked this one a lot, even if certain things didn't always make sense. I think I held my breath through about half of the movie.

I watched 'Coco'. Holy wow I was sobbing (I was warned...but didn't think I'd sob).
Loved the depiction of Mexican culture, and I love me some Mariachi music.
Another Pixar gem.

I haven't watched the newest Avengers and Deadpool like I wanted to in the theaters but I went and saw Ocean's 8 tonight. Was way better than I expected. I missed the 3rd of the prior trilogy but this was pretty much a whole new story with some links to the trilogy.
I hope to see Coco this weekend, I saw that it's on netflix now!!

I watched Love, Simon. It was nice to see a regular family, high school, friends, etc. setting for a change. Nice film.

The Killing of A Sacred Deer...terrible movie! I so agree! I kept on watching through the whole movie, because the premise seemed fascinating, and it got such high accolades that I was convinced it had to get better. It never did.

Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool. It's not for everyone, and the story builds slowly. We both love the theatre, maybe thats why we both loved this movie...it's also proof, you can't help who you fall in love with.. www.theguardian.com/film/2017/n ... -liverpool
