WE watched Knives Out this weekend. It was entertaining but meandered a bit in the middle. I would have cut it by about a half hour. Just finished watching Judy. The move was fine, not the greatest but it was sweet. Renee Zellweger was fabulous and I have to admit, I cried. Poor Judy, what she went through. It made me so sad.

WE watched Parasite.... Now I like foreign films and shows, I don't mind subtitles.... it was just boring. So far the best movie I saw in the past year is Jojo Rabbit. I still need to see 1917.

Were watching a uk series, Suspects.so far seasons 1 and 2. It's very gritty. It feels as though it is a crime drama show. Superior to the "cops" type show out we normally watch. The actors are genuine and you don't have to listen to loud music while watching.

I watched John Wick 2 and 3 back to back last night because I really love the universe created in the film. It really made for some interesting (and odd) dreams!

We watched The Banana Splits movie. Tainted my childhood memories! Seriously, it took itself too seriously and was just okay. They had a fun idea there but just didn't run with it.

Next up for us in Knives Out. Then A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. We have a new city library and the director just acquired all the Academy Award nominees for the collection so I've been able to see them!
I did watch Frozen 2 just because it was available at my library and I wanted to keep up on what's important to my nieces and nephew. I watched the first one with them and they recited the lines and sang all the songs the whole way through. It was fun! I wasn't as into the 2nd one.

I work at a library that carries tons of DVDs and blu-rays, so we never actually go to the movies anymore! I'm working my way thru the AA nominees.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw - two hours of silly, over the top action/comedy with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham? Oh yeah. It won't win any awards, but it was a fun watch. The Happytime Murders - super crude humor with puppets, Melissa McCarthy and Elizabeth Banks. Not for the easily offended.

Ina moment of boredom I caved and got Disney+ and to my surprise "While You Were Sleeping" is on there. I watched it for the feel-goodness and the Chicago porn.

For me, While You Were Sleeping is one of my all time favorite bulky comfy sweater porn movies!!! I have one sweater that I"ve had for nearly 20 years and will not get rid of which I was inspired to buy because of that movie!
Over the weekend I took advantage of free Starz on Demand and watched After the Wedding. I"m glad I watched it, but I have mixed feelings on the drama overall. Today Prime and The Watch are going to be my two playing in the background while I work movies!

It was a great movie to take one's mind off allot of sadness now. Rarely come into this thread b/c hubs and I never go to the movies nor do I watch many at home. The older I get, the less patience I have to sit through bad ones. I just had to comment on While You Were Sleeping!!!MY FAVORITE ROM COM EVER!!!! I lost count but know I've seen it more than 75 times! " Leaning involves wanting and accepting" OMG....I SWOONED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE!!! JACK'S LOOK AT LUCY AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS!!!😍😍 Oh, and The Holiday is a good one, too!

Is While You Were Sleeping on a streaming service, or do you have the DVD? I remember her in the toll booth for some reason.
