Me either waywyrd Yikes Critical seriously a creep. I will say we did start The Witcher when it first came out but is was not our thing. And what is up with MBB? I wonder if it has to do with poor parenting? I really don't know enough about her background, but this isn't news to me. Everything I've read about her parents seems to indicate that they care much more about her being rich and famous than physically safe and cared for. Lots of talk about her being far too sexually knowledgeable than she should be as a young teenager.....and these rumors have been around for YEARS and not since she started looking less like a child. I've read a few accounts from men (producers, people in a position to help her career) who were taken aback by her acting like a much older person than she is.
Sadly, it's an old story in Hollywood. It's just now we hear about it more because of social media and the fact that people are just more open talking about it. Plenty of parents back in the golden age of Hollywood basically pimped out their minor children to get them movie roles. It's horrifying. My heart breaks for these (mostly) young girls who will look back and realize how they were used by the people who were supposed to protect them.

The muppets show now has a disclaimer warning to it. lol My understanding it that it's not on the entire series but just certain episodes that show negative stereotypes of certain ethnic groups.

And it often ends poorly. I hope that isn't the case with her. She seems like a nice kid.

I'm interested, but will have to wait until it's free.
I watched the WandaVision Finale and so excited to see more Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. represented. First the Hula Girl bobblehead and now The Darkhold and Wanda (after getting her powers back in the clouds)behaving like a bobblehead. I don't know why people have a problem with the ending after credits - we get to see that the newly super daughter is headed up (space) probably at Nick's request and that Wanda is intently studying the Darkhold while splitting off into a restful persona. Lots of ways they can continue both stories.

Is it something that one has to be familiar with other Marvel movies in order to understand and enjoy it?

I'm very late to Wandavision but finally watched the first episode and thought it was mad cute; looking forward to more! There is so much happening that I watched the entire thing twice. After you get done, watched a show called Assembled: The Making Of WandaVision, it will answer questions you didn't even know you had & then you'll have to watch again. I just finished up yesterday.

So far so good with Falcon & The Winter Soldier. These TV shows are a great way to get deeper into the characters & to set up the future. Is it too early to discuss it or is it still being seen for the 1st time for many so we have to avoid spoilers?

Is it too early to discuss it or is it still being seen for the 1st time for many so we have to avoid spoilers? While I haven't watched it yet, I think that--as with any show--discussing it is fair game once it's aired. Those of us who don't want to be spoiled should just avoid reading comments about it.

I am liking what I have seen so far in The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. But I have questions. Why are these superheroes not paid. Why did Tony Stark not set up some sort of a fund for them? How is the new Captain America going to fair & for how long will he be left to wear the costume before Falcon decides to relieve him of it? For anyone else that seems to miss so many of the little touches...like I evidently do....here is a link to an article that might shed some light on the small things that the really nerdy pick up on, but goes right over the heads of folks like me. By the way, I just watched Ant Man yesterday on my way to watching all these movies in chronological order & everyone of them brings something new to the surface that ....yes...I missed the 1st time around. Next up Captain America & Civil War. comicbook.com/marvel/news/the-falcon-and-the-winter-soldier-episode-1-breakdown/ PS: Evidently that new Captain America is the real life son of Kurt Russell & Kurt Russell can be seen in The Guardians Of The Galaxy pt. 2.

From the glint in the "new" Captain America's eye, I'm thinking he quickly becomes a flash point villain and that is how the two heroes are united - to take down the sanctioned imposter.

I saw an article the other day that said that the new "sanctioned imposter" is played by the son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. (But maybe you already knew that. ) www.denofgeek.com/web-stories/wyatt-russell-joins-mcu/

I didn't know that. In the photos on your link, I can see he has Goldie's eyes.
Looks like he's played more than a few of rough, challenged men.

If you watch the video, he looks a lot like Kurt when he smiles.

I am still working my way through the Marvel movies in chronological order & yesterday watched Doctor Strange. I have 4 more with Thor Ragnarok being next. If you haven't seen Doctor Strange, the special effects in the movie are some of the most off the charts cool I have ever seen.

Can I just say I am loving "FALCON and WINTER SOLDIER"!!! Me too. Disney + is going to be a great place to expand the stories of all these folks & maybe even bring some overlooked characters to the screen. Next up is LOKI.

It's crazy how many really big name stars get involved in these Marvel outings. I just watched Thor Ragnorok & Cate Blanchet played Hella. Michael Douglas is in both of the Ant Man movies, and it was just announced that Russell Crowe has been singed to a part in the now filming Thor: Love & Thunder. Not to mention Anthony Hopkins & William Hurt...

Sorry to change the train of thought, but I'm not the least bit interested in Superhero Movies. Personally I think it sucks that there are so many of them.
Anyhow, yesterday I was in a movie mood, so I went on Disney Plus & watched a couple I have been wanting to watch: Soul - I liked this one a whole lot. Fun & interesting & different with a good message that doesn't beat you over the head. Nice ending that surprised me.
Mulan, the live action one. - I enjoyed this, but not as much as I'd hoped. I was really looking forward to it, but was kind of let down. I would have enjoyed it much more if I hadn't seen the cartoon. Plus, as an action movie it was better, but it didn't have any of the fun of the original cartoon one. That disappointed me. This seems to be a problem for me with all these live action recreations of Disney cartoon movies. They just seem so anticlimactic. We know the story. We know the ending. It's no longer new or original. Just kind of redundant. I've seen some of them. I don't know how many have been made. A few impressed me: Aladdin - Will Smith went a long way in making this one fun & interesting; Beauty and the Beast - Don't know why, just liked this one. I have no desire whatsoever to watch The Lion King - To me it's not live action, just a better quality cartoon. Already saw the first one. All in all I prefer the cartoon originals. I may not watch any more of these unless I have the grandkids with me & they want to.
The funny thing is that even without any kids with me I still find myself drawn to the cartoons or kids' movies on DisneyPlus.
