Watched the premiere episode 1 & 2. Heard some good stuff about this but it came across a bit depressing. The ending credits music reminds me a bit of a Galactic Game of Thrones ... really? I will watch episode 3. Story telling, do not dive too deep into any kind of reason why stuff happens. Episode opens up on a planet with an old temple of the Witches of Dathomir. Folks from the old empire are looking for some high official who escaped the rebels and is in exile somewhere, and they hope to find him and restore the Republic. So somehow in this 1000 yr old temple is a star map that happens to show where this grand pooba is. Really? Some witch had a vision a 1000 years ago, created a star map encased it in a column of stone hidden in the depths of a temple with a complex clue artistically sculpted into the dome of said temple. Like I said you have to ignore some major internal logic, but outside of that it was not too bad.
It was way better then the garbage that was Marvel's Secret Invasion.

FYI: Well, I will finish Ahsoka, some movies on my list and cancel. I am done.
Way too many price hikes lately.
I think at times it is better to rent movies or just wait until a series is finishes and do a free trial period. This is getting ridiculous.

FYI: Well, I will finish Ahsoka, some movies on my list and cancel. I am done.

I think at times it is better to rent movies or just wait until a series is finishes and do a free trial period. This is getting ridiculous.
Uhhh, Where do you rent movies now? I don't think we have a movie rental place here anymore. They've all closed. Safeway took out their movie rental section. They put in a Starbucks instead. Even the RedBox has been removed from Walmart here. But the idea is still great.  That's what I'd be planning on doing if I had somewhere to rent them. |

Rent through On Demand or thru Amazon Prime or even Roku maybe. I used to go to a movie theater but since COVID that got messed up and so many movies are making it to streaming platforms only months after release it only makes sense to use a streaming platform that is not too expensive. |
