Anyone else catch Episode 1 of Get Back? Fascinating stuff if you are a Beatles fan or not. I highly recommend it.

I watched most of episode 1, but, for me who is a fan, I found it a bit draggy and the Yoko Ono statue (Oh, that was a live person?) creeped me out.
I'll continue with the series, but, I think, in small doses.

I'll continue with the series, but, I think, in small doses. I watched all but about 45 minutes of Episode 1. I agree with you about it being a bit draggy, although it does show that the creative process is that way. They had a lot to get accomplished in a relatively short period of time. As for Yoko, what on earth was she doing there anyhow? She had to have been bored senseless. I'm curious to see if she sticks it out for the whole time or contributes anything. I did like the waltzing she & John did. That had to have been a nice break for him. I also liked seeing how they fed the creative energy off of each other. I also liked their comments about Brian Epstein & how important he was to them. They really missed him & how he really did manage the band. As for the whole lot of them, they all looked good except for John. He looked so slight & fragile. I'll also continue with the series for a while at least, but like you, in small doses. An entire episode does get to be a bit much in one sitting.

I have never seen so many people eat so much toast in my life.
I am really liking this behind the scenes look at the creative process. Pretty incredible stuff if you ask me.

The Beatles documentary was fascinating, especially since I've never seen the film Let It Be, which is where some of this footage was originally used. But it's not for casual viewers; there are long stretches where they rehearse a song repeatedly until you get the urge to FF when you hear it again. They played Get Back 4 times during the rooftop concert, which as it turns out, was never in danger of being shut down, even though police were in attendance, consulting for most of it.
There are a couple of "hidden microphone" conversations that are really interesting, especially between Paul and John when they are trying to get George to return to rehearsals after a walkout.
It was great to sit through all 3 episodes, but if I watch it again I'll have the FF button ready for certain segments.

Anyone watching (The Book of) BOBA FETT? It is so FREAKING good!!! I had been on Netflix and watching The Toys That Made Us and watching the backstory of action figures for Star Wars, Star Trek, GI Joe, and Masters of the Universe was fascinating which lead to a conversation with a friend who had just watched The Mandalorian season 2 and recommended it but I hated season 1 but after watching Encanto on Disney + I watched Behind the Helmet, the behind the scenes of making Boba Fett. The Behind the Helmet special was interesting and referenced the Boba Fett action figure which I had just watched on The Toys That Made Us so I decided to cautiously watch The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3. It was much better storytelling than season 1 so I watched all of season 2. I was pleasantly surprised with season 2 and have started watching Boba Fett. I think I will have to rewatch Behind the Helmet again as ILM has developed some really cool LED technology that projects backgrounds on the walls of the set that make you think you are on different planets and sets.

I watched The Eternals now streaming and I was not impressed. At first I thought hokey, then toward the end I thought confusing and unresolved. I was so looking forward to this movie; maybe I'll watch again and try not to cringe.
Dr. Strange's voice speaks in the after end credit and I did find that interesting as the multi-verse may come into play.

That was the voice that asked "are you sure you want to do that"?I had wanted to see The Eternals in the theatre but I have only seen Black Widow and Raya on the big screen since the lockdown. In one sense I am glad I waited. There were a lot of flashbacks. Also the concept of the story could be a tad uncomfortable as far as who created the universe and such and I don't think I had the energy to get myself involved. Overall it was a well made film, with beautiful costumes and sets.

There has already been a whatever the Eternals called the emergence and we met him in the form of Planet (Kurt Russell) Guardians of the Galaxy part 2. So, all along the higher being has been manipulating - at least in this universe. I loved the first reveal in the credits of Thanos' brother Eros. So puny, yet so entitled...a comment on the current age.

I agree. I've watched two episodes and in the second they focused on the double personalities and the badass wife of one of them, but this wispy god keeps popping up and why is the scarab so important that both gods (yin and yang)want it so badly? What is the main plot point of the show?
I'm sure a reader of the comic books could enlighten us.

What is the main plot point of the show? I'm sure a reader of the comic books could enlighten us. The main plot point is the philosophical debate between the Egyptian Moon God Konshu and the Egyptian God Ammit. Konshu extracts vengeance on the bad guys after they commit their crimes vs Ammit who judges you and punishes for what you may commit. The gods abandoned Earth and live on another plane of existence. They have human avatars that they can use to observe what is going on, they are not supposed to be in the earthly realm or affect it. Moon Knight aka Steven Grant aka Marc Spector is the human avatar for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Arthur Harrow, a former avatar of Konshu, now is a religious zealot and cult leader associated with the Egyptian goddess Ammit who seeks to establish Ammit as a power on Earth. He is searching for a golden scarab which is an artifact which can locate Ammit on Earth. This part is not clear yet in the series.

Moon Knight episodes 4 and 5.
For those who are confused so far the end of episode 4 will add to that.
Episode 5 is really well done and explains much about the main character.
Love the new character Taweret.
I grew up watching Doctor Who so I am used to wacky roller coaster episodes that you just have to go on the ride with the characters; tidbits/breadcrumbs are dropped along the way you don't always notice them but all things will be explained at the end. I normally do not rewatch episodes of any series except the original Star Trek, however one day I just happened to be watching the very first episode of Babylon 5; (great sci fi series by the way) and was gob smacked to notice all the Easter eggs the writer dropped all over the episode that explains so much of what happened over five seasons. So in the words of a famous Frozen song "Let It Go", enjoy the ride and look forward to what happens next.
