Did anyone get Disney + PLUS??? It is FABULOUS!!! Disney Plus Reviews. www.techhive.com/article/3453676/disney-plus-review.htmlBeing the typical DISNEY fan I bought it back in October!! I bought a 3 year package that comes out to $4.75 a month!! You can share with your family members. "Every Disney Plus account can stream to four devices simultaneously and can create seven user profiles for different members of the household. Each account can pick an avatar of a Disney, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars characters, with over 200 avatars available."Despite being so busy with my classes as the end of the semester gets closer and closer I did watch MANDALORIAN!!! Take a look!!! www.imdb.com/title/tt8111088/

I hate to admit, as I am NOT at all a Disney fan, I watched on a friend's account the Mandalorian.. and I loved it. Or, maybe it is more correct to say I love The Child. like I cannot deal with the supreme cuteness with out squeeing! I actually looked at my cat while watching last night and said, your my Baby Yoda Being.. and she reached her paw out to me. I died.
Overall, again as a non-Disney fan, their set up is nice, easy to use and navigate and being that I am like profile #7 on someone's account I am not sure it would ever be worth it for me to pay $7 a month on for just one show (thus far). I am a Star Wars/Marvel fan.. so who knows.

I already subscribe to most of the other streamers, plus I still have cable, so from a financial standpoint I'm not in a hurry to add Disney+ any time soon. I like this meme that's been going around lately for people of a certain age...

Yeah I Have Hulu (with Spotify at a student discount) Amazon and Netflix.. and cable.. I'm not looking to get another service. I am just not that into all their other stuff, and yeah the offspring had all the princess movies as a kid, but she is over them too (I guess the Band Trips in high school killed any love she had left) so unless it drops (So unlikely) I can't justify getting my own, hell my smart TV can't even add the D+ app yet, I can mooch for now.. we are ok with that lol.

Yup, MFWalkoff. That was my library until I gave them all away. I have CBS All Access, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon. I have all the Avenger related stuff on disc or as video so I'm not in any hurry to add another pay channel. In another year I'll have to shut everything (including internet) down anyway as I'll be down to less than $500 a month for everything except rent. I'll be left with whatever I've purchased on disc and wistfulness.

My friend got the free trial just so we could test it out and we were both pretty impressed over all the stuff they have there, including stuff I never even knew existed, and lots of older movies, both animated and live action, even though neither of us is a big Disney fan in general. Most people I see seem to be watching it more for the same sows, namely The Mandalorian, Gargoyles (so happy to see it getting attention again), and the 90's animated series of both X-Men and Spider-Man.

I have been really busy with school winding down for the semester and my new baby granddaughter, SCARLETT arriving 12/3 .... so TV viewing has been all but nonexistent EXCEPT for FRIDAY night's MANDALORIAN!!!

Oh, sadly, I got to enjoy just the first day of the free trial, because on that same day I came down with a pretty bad case of mycoplasm and have had to stay isolated at home for two weeks since it's pretty contagious. But just that first day was enough to impress me and consider maybe getting it in the future. I do have a question, though, and it's that I didn't notice if the available shows and movies have multi-language options, because the kids we babysit at my home don't speak or read any English, so Spanish would be the way to go, but I just plain forgot to check.

I found this about "languages" while googling DISNEY+ Looks like you are all set!!! Multiple Languages: At launch, Disney+ will offer support for English, Spanish, French and Dutch languages, including both user interface as well as audio support and/or subtitles for library content, with additional languages available for Disney+ Originals. da

Now I'll have to see if we can get it at home. I believe that there's also some available movies there that I watched a ton of times as a kid, namely Return to Oz and Bedknobs and Broomsticks, so it would be quite fun to revisit them.

I already subscribe to most of the other streamers, plus I still have cable, so from a financial standpoint I'm not in a hurry to add Disney+ any time soon. I'm with you. I just added a free trial of CBA All Access, which I'll probably keep for at least a few months and maybe I'll put my Hulu subscription on pause for a while. I have nearly zero interest in Disney, full stop. Maybe that's a consequence of growing up in Orange County - some grow up loving it and others of us are just o-v-e-r it. I looked at the list of programs and movies available on Disney+ and didn't really see anything I was interested in watching.
If I end up adding another streaming service down the line, it's probably going to be Apple+, but that won't be for a long time.

I just bought a new MacBook Pro, so I got a year of AppleTV free thrown in. But they don't have much content to start with.
I'm the same way about Disney... I was never as thrilled by the Disney magic as most others. I'll take Bugs Bunny over Mickey Mouse any day. They also own the Muppets, Marvel, Star Wars and now anything Fox every made, like the Simpsons -- but those titles are already so oversaturated in the market, I can see them lots of other ways besides the new service. I would be more interested in what less popular titles they decide to stream, the ones that aren't in eternal repeats or that never went to DVD/Blu-Ray and are legitimately hard to find.

Discuss what you're watching here.
I started The Mandolorian. Not my typical show but I can't resist "Baby Yoda" and it's pretty interesting.

Yesterday I took the step of disconnecting DirecTv & going streaming full out. I added Hulu Live & Disney+. With Hulu Live I still get the channels I watched the most & it is $80 less per month...now I gotta get used to watching commercials, which I never did with a DVR on DirecTv.
But, unlike many of you that claim to be non Disney fans, I love the stuff. When I logged on the 1st time I figured I had to begin at the beginning & watch Snow White. It looks & sounds astounding, I must say.
Then I watched the 1st episode to The Imagineering Story. It was great to see the beginnings of Disneyland & Walt talking about all his plans with the folks he entrusted to build them. I used to do logistics for Disney in Orlando & worked with the Imagineers a lot & they always fascinated me.

Got my free trial for Disney+ to watch The Mandolorian everyone was talking about. It was horrible. The only decent acting was Carl Weathers and Gina Carano. It was a really bad B Western in Space that rates a D+. The pacing was slow, the story stupid and plodding, and after you have seen Baby Yoda a couple of times it became a stale clique. Lets not even go into to the plot holes and the really unbelievable time lines. Comparing The Mandanlorian to the Clint Eastwood Sphaghetti Westerns is a HUGE stretch. I can't believe with all the talent Disney has in it's stable of writers, producers, and actors it came up with this drivel. What is even worst is people think it is this brilliant story and adds to the Star Wars franchise. What was really deceiving was that everyone was saying how concise and dense the episodes were and that they were short stating 25 mintues to 40 minutes. Almost every episode is 45 minutes long including 4 minutes of credits at the end. The worse part of this nonsense was the music. They tired to use epic sounding music to score every action in the series, which got ridiculous.
Over all I was very unimpressed with The Mandolorian and with Disney+ as a channel. The selections were limited. If you are a Disney fan and enjoy the Princess movies and all the old Mickey Mouse cartoons I guess you have found heaven.

As much as I want to watch The Mandolorian I think I'm going to pass on Disney+. We already have enough streaming services. If we get it it would be after all the M episodes have aired so we can binge watch, then cancel the service.

Well that notwithstanding, there are far more positive reviews for the show, BaYo aside, the biggest complaint i have seen is the score. As for the show over all, I for one love it. My only complaint is there isn't more each season.. but to each their own as we are all entitled to our opinions. You don't like it, don't watch it, just like any other show.

Just because other people like something doesn't mean someone can't dislike it AND that their opinion isn't valid. Everyone is falling all over themselves about all the new SW movies/series and I think they're terrible, at least the ones I've seen. IMO, there are only 3 SW movies. The end. I like JJ Abrams, but he ruined Star Wars.
I'm happy for those who enjoy The Mandalorian, but I'll be giving it and Disney+ a hard pass. Just not interested.

Back when I was a young'un, me & Haley Mills were destined to be together for life. She just never knew it. Alas, such has been my lot in life. HA!
