Does Trader Joe's have a website? I think so, but you can't order stuff for shipment. I know. I've tried.

I just recently realized that my yearly trip to Trader Joe's isn't going to happen this year. No vacation this Summer. Driving 300 miles each way just for Trader Joe's is a bit much. I only go there when on my Summer Vacation. No Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate. I'm down to about 1/3 of my last bottle. No Tea Tree Tingle Body Wash, Shampoo, or Conditioner. No Dried Mandarin Slices. No Green Tea Mints in the little tins. No pasta made out of anything & everything but pasta. And these are just the regulars I stock up on. I always find lots of shelf stable stuff I either can't get or don't notice anywhere else. This evil virus is disrupting things we don't even think about but just take for granted. You can get some items on Amazon. It’s more expensive, but if it’s something you can’t get otherwise it may be worth it to you.

Amazon overcharges by A LOT.
A lot of new locations have opened; see if there's now one closer.

Amazon overcharges by A LOT. A lot of new locations have opened; see if there's now one closer. Like crazy overcharges! My mom went to TJ's the other day and they were out of the lemon hand soap. I thought I'd pop onto Amazon and order her some. ONE bottle is going for $19.80....but you know, you get a deal if you buy a 2-pack - only $24.59! I can't remember how much the soap costs in the store, but I'll bet it's no more than $5 for a pretty big bottle. I could buy it at the store and mail it to my mom for less!
When I was on the TJ's website the other day looking at skin care, I noticed that there were a bunch of store openings with year. I wonder if Covid has messed with that schedule.

^^^ I can't imagine. There wasn't a TJs in my college town and it was horrible. I think there's one there now. I was thrilled when I moved to my current city and there were two within 10-15 minutes and several others within 45 minutes. I haven't been to a TJ's since probably February, but that's not normal. It's supposed to be 80º tomorrow, so I'm planning a TJ's trip! I'm far too excited about it

Critical I was in TJ the other day and looked up that hand soap and it was 4.99! Someone's always trying to make a profit off Trader Joe stuff on Amazon...it's the WORST place to buy goods. I bought another pkg of the Candle Trios...I am shameless, lol.

Shameless plug: The new Kung Pao Chicken Mochi Balls are absolutely delicious. Since only 8 comes in the box you can pair it with the Chicken Breast Medallions with Coconut Red Curry Sauce and it's a perfect meal for 2 people.

Went to TJs last night and they have.all the. pumpkin stuff!
I bought the Pumpkin Bisque (you have to get it, had some for lunch today and it is SO GOOD), my favorite Pumpkin spice pumpkin seeds, and those baby ice cream cones (this time with pumpkin and ginger in them). The Honeycrisp Apple and Vanilla Pumpkin candles are also in the store and I bought 2 HA and one VP to add to my collection.

I was there last week and didn't think to look to see if they had pumpkin ice cream treats. I wonder if there are any left. 😕

The lemon Risotto is back, along with a Plum Sparkling beverage. I wanted to pick up some Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s Ice Cream but it was all sold out. Surprisingly, there are no candles or candle sets available this year.
A condiment I've been getting a lot of use out of is the Chili Onion Crunch. It's delicious, especially with eggs. We picked up 2 jars of it yesterday because we use quite a bit of it.

I've never heard of the chili onion crunch. I'll have to try that next time I'm there. That's too bad that you didn't get any of the peppermint Jojo's ice cream. It's so good!

My loss is also my gain because we went to another supermarket nearby to pick up things not available at TJ and they had the newest Ben and Jerry's flavor from their Netflix line called Punch Line there! I have been looking for it since I got an email about it. It's in my freezer now and can't wait to eat some of it.

I've never heard of that flavor, but I looked up the description, and it sounds yummy. Enjoy!

My son brought over TJ fig and olive crisps which he paired with a creamy garlic cheese spread. So yummy 😋!

I bought a can of Corn Cookie mix a few months ago. I hadn't made them because I freaked out when I looked at the first ingredient - sugar! And then I saw I needed to add a cup of butter to the mix. I don't usually eat butter. But I decided to make them today and they are really good! I have them in an airtight container and may freeze some of them. They have the right crispy on the edges texture and really don't taste too sweet. I recommend them! Well at least no more than a couple a day to keep ones heart healthy!

Went to TJs last night and the Kung Pao Mochi Balls are back! I made sure to also get the curry chicken medallions too; it's a great pairing and just right for two people. Also got some Green Goddess dip and Calabrian Chili Tomato Dumpling Soup (new items).

Went to TJs again and a sweet treat that everyone should try is their new "Inside Out Carrot Cake cookies." They are in the bakery section and really rich and big, one cookie will do you well.

Around a month ago I bought this Peanut Satay Thai Noodles bowl and finally ate it for lunch yesterday. It was insanely delicious and I can see why it sold out so quickly; if you get these in your area stock up.

It's an "on the shelf put in microwave/add boiling water" item.

My second Covid vaccine shot is tomorrow and then I wait two weeks....and then I'm going to Trader Joe's for the first time in over a year! I've got $100 in gift cards burning a hole in my wallet! I'm sure I'll still be nervous, but I plan on going during "off" hours and double masking it. Baby steps. I've missed those chicken soup dumplings and the frozen Indian food SO much! I'm looking forward to trying the new products that I've missed over this past 15-ish months!

I like their cauliflower thins; I use them to make a low-fat version of pizza. I just wish there were more than 4 little discs in each package.

They were completely out of all of the noodles when I went this weekend. I am sad! Critical, did you go on your shopping trip? What did you get?
