Oh good, they flew them on the chartered plane to Portugal but it wasn't part of racing. They are now leaving at staggered times, driving themselves. At first I worried that they'd all be starting the next leg at the same time.
Flight attendants at 8:30, Arun/Nat and Kim/Penn at 8:45, then the guys at 9 a.m.

How are they supposed to know famous Portuguese explorers? Kim got lucky!
One of the flight attendants seemed to know, and eliminated a soccer player because she knew him.
Was there some clue somewhere?

I knew several of them. I always enjoyed history. Vasco da Gama, Ferdinand Magellan
I don't understand how some of these people are so bad at rowing.
PS -- I also knew Cristiano Ronaldo. I was looking for Luis Figo, Rui Costa or Vitor Baia. I'm a daddy's girl and a big soccer fan.

I guess since the doorknob was in the middle it had to be painted, because Arun and Natalia had their knob on left and it was not painted when they were checked ok and handed the clue.

The guys winning would be a bit disappointing to me, because it's happened so many times already with 2 guys winning. They can be strong, and if they do overtake the other two teams in the end, well then they deserve the win. I am just hoping they don't! |

The girls have great luck! I mean they just stumble on top of answers and clues so easily. They really are doing very well.

The guys are really good at physical challenges, but not so good at the mental tasks...they even admitted to that earlier in the game. The last challenge is usually remembering/mental so I suspect, unless they start that last challenge first...way ahead of the other teams, they probably won't win. Kim and Penn have been the most consistent, plus he has that photographic memory so I think that will play to their strengths. |

I love this Survivor-type challenge, where they have to call out directions to their blindfolded partner.
But I hope Kim and Penn finish it soon!!!

Well it certainly looks like girls will win this. They find everything fast, grab their three clues before KP have found their third clue. Kim is mentally freaking out a bit. Tiny donkey was a few steps to Penns left but she didn’t see it.
