From what I read, the man she was holding on to was a friend of her fathers. Jerry Schilling, he was his talent manager, PR person, and part of this close knit friend group. I think he was even Lisa Marie's manger for a moment there too.

He wasn't always the nicest guy to be an old stoner, but he did make a lot of great music.
RIP, Mr. Crosby.

Oh man, that’s a part of my childhood! I loved James at 15 (and 16). Seeing that pic of him as an adult….my brain can process it. In my head, Lance Kerwin is forever that beautiful blonde teenage boy ☹️

These long time rockers that we all grew up with may be leaving us in droves, but they will never be entirely gone if we just keep keying up the music. In honor of Dean Daugherty, this is my favorite song from the Atlanta Rhythm Section & Dean plays some sweet piano. Georgia Rhythm www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWRuhsWmSWY

Oh dear is right. Both of these deaths are sad to hear about. I saw Lisa's dance with Lurch trending on Twitter.

I was sad to hear about Charles Kimbrough. I'm so glad they had that one season reboot of Murphy Brown a few years ago, so they could all get back together one more time. IIRC, he wasn't in all of those new episodes, so maybe his health was already failing

Ohhhhh, this makes me so sad. I loved Burt Bacharach! Loved his music and I had a real crush on him. Wow!

No one could sing "This Guy's In Love With You" like Burt Bacharach could.

I drove to Salt Lake today, and there were several stories about him on the radio as I was driving home. I was sad to hear the news, but I sure enjoyed, listening to all of his beautiful music and the stories about him. Rest in peace, Mr. Bacharach.

What great music he gave us. I was surprised that he was that old...I didn't think he was 20 years older than me.
