Its not you. I was like 82 is so young. I think the closer we get to a certain age, the younger it feels. Maybe she RIP.

She most certainly hit the jackpot in the gene pool arena. Young guys everywhere were thunderstruck by how gorgeous she was.

I think we were all thunderstruck by her. (But maybe not not all of us in the way you meant, @razorback, ) She was so beautiful and yet somehow felt accessible and like someone you'd want to be friends with. May she rest in peace.

Add me to the list of Rachel Welch admirers. I agree with everything you all have said. And even as she aged, she was one of those very rare people who wore age so beautifully - on the inside as well as the outside. Rest in peace Ms Welch.

Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler's hubby, has committed suicide. It deeply saddens me to know that she's experiencing such pain. I just love her.

Barbara Bosson, best known for playing Frank Furillo's (Daniel J. Travanti) wife Fay Furillo on Hill Street Blues has passed away. She was 83. Her husband, Stephen Bochco passed in 2018. He really wrote her a great part on HSB. I rewatched season 1 of the show a few years ago and was reminded of how great the show was and how great Barbara Bosson was.

Gary Rossington has passed away at the age of 71. He was the last of the original founding members of Lynyrd Skynyrd still living. Now they are all gone. Man oh man!

Robert Blake has passed. I was pondering the whole murder. Was it right? No, despite how awful she was. Did he do it to protect his daughter? Perhaps.

This IS a tough one, because for me, it's like the end of an era. I only knew Topol from 'Fiddler' but he was bigger than life as Tevve, and will always be one of my touchstones in the world of musical theater that I love. RIP Topol!

Singer Bobby Caldwell has died at the age of 71. I remember my fave AI contestant Elliott Yamin, singing Bobby's "What You Won't Do for Love" on AI and he also got to perform it as a duet with Bobby another time, which was great. His wife said he died from "toxicity caused by continued use of fluoroquinolone antibiotics, which can lead to "disabling and potentially permanent side effects involving tendons, muscles, joints, nerves and the central nervous system," according to the Food and Drug Administration. I'm wondering if creams containing fluroquinolone are just as dangerous. I've never heard of this side effect. news.yahoo.com/bobby-caldwell-wont-love-singer-215333031.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

Jim Gordon was a drummer & a member of the world famous Wrecking Crew.
During his recording career he played with The Beach Boys The Beatles & Eric Clapton among many others. The records he appeared on were Glen Campbell’s “Gentle on My Mind,” Mason Williams’ “Classical Gas” and the Beach Boys’ influential “Pet Sounds” LP. In the ’70s, he played on Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain,” a No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot 100; Albert Hammond’s “It Never Rains in Southern California” and “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number” by Steely Dan, in addition to songs and albums by John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Traffic, Van Dyke Parks, Seals & Crofts, Art Garfunkel and many others. He was also credited as a co – writer on Layla. He was also a member of Joe Cocker’s Mad Dogs & Englishmen,
Unfortunately, he was also a very troubled man. In 1983 he was convicted of killing his mother. He claimed to hear voices in his head. He was subsequently diagnosed with schizophrenia, & sentenced in 1984 to 16 years to life in prison. He was denied parole several times.
He has passed away at the age of 77.

He was replaced by Jim Gordon for the recording of "You're So Vain," and asked to sit in on the session so he could learn from it. He goes into a lot of detail praising the way Jim played. johandalgaard.wordpress.com/2014/11/11/andy-newmark/?fbclid=IwAR0Gz7l81ymOWVSDMy-RPTB5olPp_22GpflYj4Bxi7FOiA7pvGhexByae5oI was pointed to it from this Facebook post by June Millington of Fanny, who posted last night about Jim and other drummers she'd admired and suggested reading this article. www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10229754552989643&set=a.1076121184844

I gasped when I saw the news. I loved him. SO many great roles. He was on The Wire, one of the greatest shows ever, as well as so many others. Recently, he was on Bosch. 60 is just far too young
