Wow! This group of guests went so far beyond the 'usual' level of complaining, that I wondered, whether this was production driven, or at the very least, encouraged by the production staff.
And I could see some very dark thoughts rolling around inside chef Adam's head!!!
I hope this isn't what we have to look forward to for the rest of the season. There's plenty of drama between the staff members without having to have overly obnoxious guests, as well.

They made it clear in the scenes for the season that Hannah does something to screw up BIG time. I'm very curious to find out what that is! I also love that they are sailing around Italy this season, and look forward to all the scenes of the country that we get!

I wonder if it has something to do with some sort of fire on board the yacht? It also looks like Sandy is not ok with her relationship with Conor? or is it Conrad? Colin? (argh!)

Ok just watched EPI 1.
The guests were MORONS.
Does BRAVO have something to do with that?
WHY go on Reality TV and make yourselves look like complete RUDE IDIOTS unless of course they are handed a LARGE check after the episode is filmed.
Hmmmm.
I am glad Adam kept it together.
The red head was the worst. And "where are my nuts" over and over and over again. SHUT UP.
I like the CREW (so far lol) and I really like Capt Sandy.
The PREVIEWS for the Season look WILD.

I wonder if any charter guests have seen a boost in business after being rude on this show.

So can we conclude that the charter guests were asked by production to contradict their preference sheets after the challenges Adam had last season?

If not...they were absolutely coo-coo. And I might be convinced it was just that. The blonde one during dinner? She didn't know what was going on. I don't want lobster, I don't like shellfish. .....I have NO idea why I have something different than all of you. .....I don't want to talk about what I eat anymore." Seriously looney. I was so happy to see Sandy call her out on it. I actually laughed out loud when Sandy was saying to herself "I don't want to go to dinner with them. I don't want to go to dinner with them. I don't want to go to dinner with them." Joao annoys the heck outta me. I can't stand how he talks over Conrad. And his advances on whatsherface (sick girl) and then on Brooke too. He's just yucky and icky to me. I can't blame Hannah....Conrad is cute. crush

That blonde woman seemed either drunk or very clueless.

The blonde woman had likely dug into the aforementioned edibles. The red head was also something else when she was freaking out about the weather when they were headed back to the yacht. Joao is doing a good job of delivering as the villian. His behavior on their night out was bad. His whole thing about not coming from a world of yachting and not caring about rank? Doesn't matter! You're on a yacht crew now and you have to adapt to that world - not the other way around! And his treatment of the seasick stew was just ... NO!

Conrad kinda looks like Spencer Pratt from 20 years ago. I think he looks like he could be FREDDIE HIGHMORE's young brother only with fair hair!!! www.imdb.com/name/nm0383603/

I think I remember them saying on WWHL that these past guests are not the worst guests of the season.

Joao is creepy. He is the villain. I know I wouldn't be able to deal with him, in the short term let alone in the long term. (And for me, that goes for Adam too. He can be a really nightmare!) And to make matters worse, not only are they all in a confined space (where they can't get away from him), but it's a work situation in which it's really important to respect (and obey) the rules, and get along with their fellow co-workers. Phew! This is a situation where a sense of humor REALLY comes in handy. I envy the folks who can laugh their way through tough situations!

I can't stand him either. I have no idea what that one chick see's in him. He's awful.
And the other stewardess? (I can't remember any of the girls names!) The one who is sick all the time? She just needs to go. She's terrible at the job!

Joao seems to think saying "I'm from Zimbabwe so no, I don't do things this way" is a catch-all phrase that protects him from being accountable for his behavior. Nope, regardless of where you're from, you're just a jerk.

Nope, regardless of where you're from, you're just a jerk. I wonder if that will come back and bite him at any point this season since Hannah said her parents are originally from Zimbabwe.

What a bummer to pay big $$$ for a yachting trip and be stuck at the pier because of the weather.

Seriously. I would not be happy about that. Of course i would TRY to make the best of it. But you could stay at a hotel for far less and it would be just about the same kind of experience.

It seems like the first few episodes of the season have been designed to redeem Hannah and Adam from last year lol. I felt bad for Hannah-she's having to do a ton more work this charter to keep the guests entertained since they're stuck at the dock, Kasey is useless even when she's not sick, and Sandy is micromanaging her every step of the way. I don't blame her for breaking down and crying. Is it unreasonable to wait 15 minutes for toast? Yes, but when provisioning orders HAVE to be done, the chef is suddenly turned into a short order cook and every guest wants something completely different, and one stew has no clue how to make coffee-that's what's going to happen. Sandy was so quick to press Jamie into service, why not ask the rest of the deck crew to help out with interior decorating, cleaning, serving since they didn't have anything else to do?
As for Kasey...I'd LOVE to know what kind of boat she "stewed" on for four years if she can't make coffee, can't pour drinks, can't vacuum or clean, and gets seasick. I feel like she completely lied on her resume and the producers just wanted another pretty, entitled girl to cause drama. It's like going on Survivor and not learning how to make fire.

I really like Sandy but she showed an element of her management style that really bugged me in this episode. On a few occasions especially with Hannah she went on the attack with what she saw wrong rather than asking why things happened. Sure, Hannah should teach the stewards what to do. But she can’t assume that’s not happening - sometimes as the show has shown people e refuse to learn. If she asked questions instead of attacking she could support Hannah instead of just riling everyone up. After all ... just like the stews not doing their jobs well reflects on Hannah the chief stew and bosun not doing their jobs well reflects on Sandy not teaching well!

I think Sandy was trying to keep a tighter rein on the crew after the nonsense that went on behind her back last season, but she's going too far in the other direction. Plus she was acting more like a guest this charter than the captain!

This CREW is cray cray this season. Yikes. The girl that was seasick.....she needs to get it together. Quickly. Joao...... I am not sure if anyone is like-able this season. I liked CONRAD but he has dropped the ball too many times on Capt. Sandy with what he should be doing. This group with Dr. Jen was so nice and not the least bit demanding .... so different from the last group. ALL THAT RAIN in beautiful ITALY .... making it so hard to enjoy the scenery.

I hate to say it but I’m really not liking Sandy as much this season. She turned me off so much when she was talking about issues with the service and was totally focused on the service to HER and not the guests. Shouldn’t the guests take priority?

Good grief...Kasey needs to get off that boat. She's SO dull. She not only can't do her job (because of the sea sickness)....she doesn't know HOW to do it. Her responses to Hannah piss me off "I already did it." ....or just how slow she is to respond...or move...or smile. I'd be ready to chuck her and Joao overboard if I were on that yacht. Is it just me or are the guests extremely picky and needy this time around? The amount of food they want and then how many of them want different things...on EVERY charter it seems so far. I was glad that Sandy told the primary this time around that on most boats Adam would make one meal and if they people didn't like/eat it then that's that. Sure didn't matter to the primary though and she went on to ask him to make 5 different things. And didn't sit down until after 11:00pm? Adam is doing amazing despite everything being thrown at him. Hannah is definitely off her game...but with the picky guests and Kasey to deal with I kind of can't blame her
