Jenni has dealt with his nonsense for so long. With a very busy and successful MD hubby and two little ones ... I am actually glad Jenni has moved on from Jeff. Jenni has had her fill of Jeff's personality. While I love what he does for the home design world ... the way he treats everyone is ridiculous and rude. YOUR LOSS JEFF.

We'll see. This isn't the first time that Jeff and Jenni have taken a big step back.

It's kind of strange to me -- Jenni pitched the show to Bravo in the first place, and is an executive producer. We have seen exactly the kind of abuse she has willingly taken from Jeff for 10 years (I mean, there's no show without it). It will be interesting to see what is so different about this season's behavior (if anything).

I listened to Jeff Lewis Live's SiriusXM show titled "Parenting & All In by Teddi. Teddi Mellencamp, Gage and Meghan were part of the show.
In the course of the Flipping Out season, Jenni shared regrets that working for Jeff held her back from other career opportunities. This led to a heartfelt filmed decision for her to no longer work for Jeff Lewis Design so she'd have more time for her other projects --- which is true life for several seasons as Jenni is a Bravo employee and not employed by Jeff Lewis Design. Sometime after wrap, Jeff and Jenni had lunch and discussed her continuing with Flipping Out as a "friend". Also, the two were in talks with Bravo for a new Jeff and Jenni spinoff.
Soon after the lunch, Jeff was brought into a production company conference call and informed he had been reported for alleged "abuse and victimization" --- claims Jenni made PRIOR to the two of them having lunch. There was an investigation and Jeff cleared. Jenni is now accusing Jeff of wrongfully terminating her off her own show and creating a hostile work environment.

This isn't the first rift between Jeff and Jenni. Years ago, after she divorcing her first husband, Chris Elwood, she hid her private life from Jeff who didn't even know where she lived. Later, Jeff felt threatened and sued Jenni after she published her tell-all book.
This time around he feels her employment-related accusations resulting from her being "fired" from her Jeff Lewis Design job (that she hasn't really held for years) is threatening his real-life business and livelihood.
During the Jeff Lewis Live SiriusXM show, everyone there (Jeff, Gage, Megan, and Teddi Mellencamp) referred to Jeff and Jenni's relationship prior to the last few months as brother and sister, married in a prior life and thick as thieves. Jenni is Monroe's godmother and the rift began as an ongoing discussion/argument concerning Jenni objecting to Jeff advising her about her professional entertainment life or something like that.
Jeff said, given Jenni's revelation that she felt her continuous involvement with Jeff's business as holding her back led him to fire her from her fake job. Off camera, he considered Jenni returning to Flipping Out as a "friend" more authentic and representative of what their relationship is --- spending time together along with their children as friends --- would allow her to be connected to the show with all benefits resulting therefrom and, at the same time, more opportunity to pursue her independent career.
I remember when the show was speculated as "done" when Ryan Brown left because HE was the real design talent and that proved untrue. Zola leaving was heart-tugging, but by then she wasn't contributing much. Reflecting, I've noticed Jenni different, perhaps more one dimensional and not as engaged in recent seasons and now understand why.
I hope the show will not be canceled after this season and although believe it can survive without Jenni Pulos, I'd prefer Jenni. However, that's entirely up to Jeff and Jenni moving beyond their enormous egos. Especially Jenni. What the heck is she thinking?

I got to see episode 1. I think Bethenney from NY Housewives and Jeff from Flipping Out should do a series together. They are both cut from the same cloth and would cause a huge implosion at their first disagreement.
Jeff seems to have run out of reputable people for his show. He has his "Jersey" driver as part of his crew and an assistant who looks like a college intern.

What the heck did they give Monroe that she started choking. Gawd, choking scares the crap out of me. Thank God, Gage whipped her out of her high chair and handled it while Jeff just sat there saying "I think she is choking"......... I have a 2yo and that scares me. I cut everything up to HER DISLIKING but too bad. When Grammy is watching Stevie, her food gets cut cut cut. I saw her tray on the h.c. and it looked like everything was teeny tiny she was eating........bizarre. After reading everything here on Jenni, I was watching her demeanor on the show and she did not look happy AT FIRST about the promotion BUT then again it comes with NO MONEY. Typical Jeff. I think his business is going absolutely fine. I will say Megan has hung in there for a few years. That is always POSITIVE when we see the same employees back each season. Tyler is new for me unless he is new for everyone. NO mention of Zoila but Jeff did say they are going through Nannies like crazy ... almost monthly. Eek. Oh and MONROE is an ABSOLUTE DOLL. That was CRAP that fountain Robert poured for Jeff. WOW. I saw Chaz but I also just saw him on QVC ... he changes his hair style like HOURLY. Jenni's new baby is ADORBS and Jenni looks FABULOUS.

Jenni never worked for Jeff except when filming the show. She is a comedian/actress, never a full time assistant in his flipping business. Totally scripted and contrived.

We missed all of last season & I didn't even realize the new season started till literally a few minutes before it aired, so I missed seeing the marathon to catch me up. Not sure if I really missed anything though, except Zoila leaving I can't believe they're STILL working on that Valley Vista house. I don't know how Gage doesn't lose his mind over Jeff's obsession with that house. And they can't be constantly firing Monroe's nannies. It's bad for HER. It can lead to other issues, like abandonment anxiety. Not sure why they're blowing through them, but I'm sure it's due to some unreasonably high expectation that Jeff has. He needs to get a grip & get real. And, like momrek06, I couldn't believe Jeff was just sitting there saying over & over "Gage, she's choking"...then DO SOMETHING JEFF! He's inches away from her, but is just waiting for Gage to come handle it. So bizzare. I read all about the Jeff/Jenni drama a few weeks ago & I don't know what to believe anymore. Probably somewhere between both their versions is the truth.

Maybe it’s just my mood, but Lea Black and those project managers all get on my nerves. LOL Therefore, I was pretty much annoyed the entire episode. 😛

Those 2 project managers, give me a break. Jeff would have fired them in a New York minute. I smell Bravo's stinky hands in this as well. Jenni & Monroe were the only reasons I watched. My Tuesday nights are now free.

Oh that (insert correct name here) chick is a SOUR PUSS! Maybe because she’s hungry? She looks so “L.A.” - super skinny, super over-done, & super bitchy. She was really rude to Megan a few times last week & the week before. Haven’t watched this week yet.
EDIT: I thought that Lea Black was the name of that skinny, constipated looking brunette from the furniture photo shoot at Megan’s house. Obviously, I didn’t put the right name with the right face.

Looks as if Jeff is announcing on his latest Instagram post that Bravo has pulled the plug on Flipping Out. I’m so mad.

I don't care for Lea either, but she does have money to spend on remodeling/decorating. I'm sad to read about the Jenni and Jeff situation. I would not like to see the series end because of this fall out. I think it can survive without Jenni, unfortunately. Wish Bravo would develop something for her given what I've read now. If Kim Z from RHOA can somehow work a spinoff, Jenni certainly should be able to do the same. Come on Andy! Show some Jenni love.

Andy only oversees the Housewives franchises now. Flipping is in somebody elses hands. Andy did expand Jeff's radio show on Sirius to three days.

I see. I thought maybe he could make a show happen for Jenni. If he is just limited to HW, then someone else is going to have to show the love. Thaks for the info!

While in an official capacity Andy is now only over the Housewives and an on-air host, I tend to think he's still got enough power at Bravo that he could put in a word to have an influence on decisions. When his responsibilties were reduced behind the scenes, it was done because his on-air responsibilities had grown so much, not because he wasn't doing a good job. I think that publicly, Andy tries to play it both ways at times where he takes all the credit when audiences are happy, but then shrugs and says it's not his decision when thing are more controversial.

Actually, from what I understand, the show hasn’t been canceled, it just hasn’t been renewed (yet, hopefully). Jeff had a petition on his Twitter to get the show renewed for another season.

WOW, I hate that they are going through this.......Jenni has been by his side through thick and thin.........LEWIS has a way of spewing out angry words way too quickly and then regretting it. I hope they can eventually figure this all out. One thing the article did not mention is that Jenni is MONROE's Godmother.......for Monroe and Jenni, I hope this can be something that can be fix. I am up to date with my viewing and Jenni was just wonderful by JL's side through his grandmother's illness and then death.....to call her a "fake" friend is so wrong on so many levels.

Jeff is very fortunate that he's got people in his life like Jenni and Gage who understand his personality so well and are so forgiving towards it. I think the painful lesson Jeff is having to learn through this is that even with kind and forgiving people like he's got in them, there is a breaking point. Jeff went for so long believing that he could do and say anything to Jenni and she'd roll with it that when he pushed her to a point she couldn't do it anymore, there was no way to reverse the damage. People like Jeff need to understand that kindness and a forgiving spirit can't be underappreciated. Even the most resilient of plants will die if you go for too long without watering it.

How ironic that Jenni and her husband just bought the house that Jeff and Gage wanted last year but couldn't afford. It looked just beautiful. And the home Jenni and her husband sold in order to be able to buy the new one was pretty darn perfect, too.
